    Recently we have had people apply and not follow the instructions on the application.

     

    Please check in on your application after applying to make sure you followed all instructions properly or we will not accept your application.

     

     

    That being said we would love to have some more "hardcore" type players, we are not just a casual clan. We are not just a "type" of clan we accept anyone and would be glad to have you so see if our clan is for you!

    Background:

     


    The Sei Reiyu ninja clan has been a long part of human history, while not always at the forefront like today the clan was involved in many historical battles and assassinations. As ninja entered a more civilized age in the 21st century the clan became more of a philosophical school with still steadfast tradition in training the art of ninjutsu. There was simply no need for true martial art on the battle field. The rise of the warframe changed this, and the Sei Reiyu quickly recognized it's important place in their traditions.

    Steel Age:

    The Sei Reiyu ninja clan was founded sometime in the 1300's of feudal japan. However before this point they were not a clan, rather a small village. The need to take up arms and learn combat became apparent as the shoguns could not garuntee their safety from pillagers and Daimyo vying for power. Their small village was mostly forgotten, even though it held a small mine with precious steel that lacked the vast amount of impurities that most Japanese steel did.

    After a being raided several times the villagers and miners became very resourceful with fighting off invaders and soon after the clan took the name "Sei Reiyu" meaning Divine Dragon. They chose this name to represent their divine right to keep the land they have fought for with the dragon representing the heroism of the village and the abundance and good fortune that had come to them through defending themselves.

    End of Feudal Japan:

    When the end of the samurai, and martial arts as viable combat in general, came it nearly destroyed the clan. They had been reliant on being paid for assassinations, bodyguard duties, and the like. When swords became outlawed in many large cities the Sei Reiyu all but vanished. No longer a need for their skill set they returned to the humble farming life and kept to their large archive of knowledge from those before. Still practicing the ninjutsu artform, they saw no use for it outside of training and mostly became scholars.

    Rise of the Warframe:

    As with many, the warframe represented a new era of war. Never before had power on this scale been at humanities fingertips. The mostly peaceful Sei Reiyu very quickly adapted this new equipment to their own art. However this pegged them as new targets when the Tenno were nearly destroyed. Many of the clan members were disgraced at a massive defeat defending the historical site on Earth where the clan was founded. Much of their technology and warframes were lost at this site and have since been absorbed by the Grineer Empire.

    All but defeated only a handful of Brothers in the clan were able to survive. They were put to sleep until they could be called on again to make a difference.

    The Sei Reiyu Return:

    Many people speculate to the exact point in which the Sei Reiyu returned. Even though most say it was during the time in which the first few Orokin towers were reactivated and Tenno sprawled out again, this is not the case.

    The Sei Reiyu were unfortunately dismantled so badly that the brotherhood was broken apart. The few that survived had now died or been captured. The only true reemergence of the clan was when a Tenno operative discovered the old archive on Earth when on a mission to sabotage Grineer structures. From these teachings the Sei Reiyu was reborn in one Tenno, soon to be many again.

    While the true clan died out, or have been lost in space, their teachings have not. They now fight at the frontline of the great war against all odds.



     

    Brief Info:

     

    A small clan that will most likely go no larger than Shadow. For now it is just me and I am myself a full time University student with many other hobbies. It is likely I will play one day out of the week at most.

    We are looking for people who are either hardcore/casual, either one does not matter to us but the core values do

    Again this is not a hardcore "be the top of the ladder" clan. This is meant to be a family that will form a strong bond and have fun playing, while having the option of role-playing for those who enjoy it. The clan hall will be setup in the theme of a dragon and should have a quite nice look to it. It will have much of the clan history spread throughout the terminals that you can find.

    If you are interested send me a message here or invite in-game. There is no level requirement, but I am very picky about whom I recruit. If I recruit you it is because if we had met in real life we would most likely be friends. Don't take it personally if I do not choose you it simply means I think it's best for you to find a better suited clan.

    I am EST time, and will most likely play on Sundays. Other members have other timezones.

    Rules/Core Values:

     

    1) Like the "Divine Dragon" Theme (Sei Reiyu roughly translates to this)
    2) Respect clan members
    3) Form bonds with clan members
    4) Respect each others play-styles
    5) Have fun



     

    Requirements:

     

    1) Active on "Clan Sundays" at least 3 times out of the month
    a) Clan Sundays are the times when we will usually all be online and convene to do things in the game
    2) If other clan-mates are online you should do your best to help them or at least chat in the clan to get to know one another better
    3) US-East Server

    Optional:

    1) Use clan colors:
    a) Smoke Colors, Black/White
    2) Pick a "Brother" in the clan that you will strive to form a bond with and help at any time you are online




    Note: There will be some simple role-playing. If you don't like it, then you don't have to, it's optional. There is a back-story to our clan which is revealed to you as you rise the ranks and trust is earned. This is not a clan where you join and get instant privileges, you have to show me loyalty. This is the only way I see people earning true respect for rank and devotion.

    Brother Dragon (Ruler/General) 弟竜

    At this point there is no longer a hierarchy because it doesn't matter. No greater, No lesser than any other clan member. A true brother.



    Brother Fang (Officer) 弟牙

    The teeth that give the clan it's power, these brothers have fought for family and protected it through the worst. They have proven their worth through months of dedication and understanding.



    Brother Claw (Leader) 弟爪

    Shown to be a leader in their own life, a brother will become a Claw. At the very tip of true understanding, a brother will begin to see and feel what it means to grow a brotherhood.



    Brother Scholar (Sage) 弟学者

    Seeking to understand the scholar enters the family. This is the point a brother is officially recognized as a clan member. Getting here is tough and well deserved.



    Young Dragon (Soldier) ヤング竜

    After showing willingness to engage in brotherhood, hatchlings are born and their understanding blossoms for a short moment. The length of time they spend in their young form depends on their interaction with other brothers.



    Hatchling (Initiate) 子ガメ

    When showing interest in becoming a part of Sei Reiyu, a hatchling is formed. Only arising from it's shell when it is true willing to do so.



    Servant (Utility) 使用人

    Punishment to those who betray.



    Reaching a higher rank doesn't just require time in-game with us, it requires getting to know us and knowing what this clan represents. A True Brotherhood. All titles with "Brother" are hard won because it is at that point you are true family.

    Hello Ralmstein, I like the ideas you have for this clan and most of the applicants I see posting here all seem like it will make the clan you have a very nice one indeed.  I am interesting in becoming one of the group, making friends and having fun, as it would make me a very happy person, when you are able to invite more into your clan, if you would consider me to join you all.

    reason for joining:  The ideals you have for this clan are great, more thought and effort put into it than just a means of getting a bunch of people in one place.  Plus the idea of mild to full roleplay interests me as I have always wanted to try such things but never had the means to.

     

    Play-Style: Methodical planer, then execution of blitzkrieg lethality while maintaining an awareness of fellow squadmates. But I always adjust my style a little to match the pace of the squad. Even if I have to do the dreaded rat-race to the finish, even thought I dislike rushing anywhere blindly.

    Sit down and think what you want your clan to be about. Set some guidelines to show what you are about, lay down requirements you think are necessary and describe the ultimate goal you have in mind.

     

    Then start playing around with the idea a bit and when you are ready make a well structured post that focuses solely on your clan, how to join it, and what it will do for them if they join.

    Guess It Time For A Clan Emblem Competition.

    If you want to look fabulous, you have to pay the price.

     

    I do wish users could upload their own emblems to use on their frames independently from the clan emblem... but the moderation for all of the user-submitted emblems would be way too tasking.

     

     

    I'm sorry but this frustrates me. I understand selling cosmetics, but clan emblems? It's just an emblem. 150 plat to upload.. fine, but not for every single person who wants one. Make it like 20k creds to craft and that's it. It's a clan, user-generated emblem, why are we paying DE to be able to use our OWN work?

    I'm DarkCore30. I'm interested to join this clan. Sometimes it's hard to play alone since there is no free re-spawn. Hahaha. I'm noob stealth-style player, and hope can build up my experience if i can join in this clan. Thanks before

    I'm very interested in the clan. Student like yourself.. plus, every clan needs a chick ;). 

     

    I started playing a few weeks ago with a few other college mates.. already adore it and am involved every day. I'm fine with the role playing (*theatre major*), and can offer you the loyalty and brotherhood that you're looking for. I PM'd you an application.
