  1. A quick clan update!

Had a very productive clan meeting yesterday, will be hopefully posting updates in the near future on our clan page.

Everyone, no matter if you've applied/waiting to/lurking/just curious about Q, are more than welcome to our subforum. Click below to join now!

Some updates will be cross-posted here if applicable, and thank you everyone who's applied for your patience 😄

  2. Hello all!

A quick update - since I'm still getting quite a few PMs about recruiting, just to let you all know that I'm going to be busy for a couple of months, so won't be able to assist during that time.

Instead, I would recommend joining the official Quasars subforums (linked below), where you can see all of the current officers listed (such as @--Q--Devi, who posted here earlier) and contact them for further assistance!

Enjoy the update this week! (unless DElayed)

  3. Quick update on clan competition - winners have been announced, thank you to everyone who entered! Winners for each category were as follows, voted on by the clan:

Clan name: Quasar Lite by --Q-- Napalm
    Clan dojo layout: by --Q--Captain
    Clan logo: -CM-BlackCrusader

Each of the winning entries can be seen on the respective forum post, and will each receive 4,000 in platinum:

As soon as we have this sister clan set up we hope to be able to help more people join the Quasars community :satisfied:

  4. Entries for dojo layout have now closed, thank you to all the entries :satisfied:

We will now be accepting emblems! Prize for winning emblem will be 4,000 Platinum, and

    - Top voted clan name was 'Quasars Lite', as selected by the members of Quasars themselves
    - Images for logo must be 1000 x 1000 png & 128 x 128 png.
    - Multiple entries accepted, can submit up until 4/2/2018
    - Winners announced end of event

    Good luck to all!

  5. Clan Creation Competition update!

Thank you all so much for all the name suggestions! Winner will receive 4,000 after the event.

We are now accepting dojo layout submissions here until 28th January. Should have all important rooms within convenient access, allow for potential future expansion, and not be excessively maze-like. Any presentation tool can be used, but here are some handy links for online creation:

4,000 platinum for winner is open to everyone, so spread the word & submit your dojo layouts as a reply to this post.

    Good luck all!

  6. Hello all! Hope everyone had a lovely start to 2018 :satisfied:

Just to keep everyone here up to date - we are planning some changes to how the clan carries out recruiting. We know a few of you have been waiting for quite a while until spaces have become available, so thank you so much for your ongoing patience.

We will be reaching out to people via forum messages, so keep an eye on those - we will also be trying to contact people via Discord, so if you haven't included that in your submission please feel free to reply again with your information, including your Discord name (& anything else you think would help us in recruitment)!

On a tangentially related note we're running an open competition with a 12k Plat prize which everyone here can enter! It will be running for 3 weeks, and all the info is included in the related thread:

Here is the rub from those that actually have lives outside of Warframe-  There is no Cut and Dry way to get a Glyph 100% of the time....even though they are supposed to be FREE.

Had lots more to say....but it got erased.

Easy way- Just have a Sticky on the WARFRAME page or Forums that informs who is giving and what way they are doing it. This gives those who want said Glyph the info to decide while also informing the whole gaming community to stay up to date.

    This is an excellent idea!

A public list put out by DE which lists what the creators have listed as their preferred way to obtain their glyphs - maybe something like the old Void drop tables. Could even include amount of codes requested/given.

While there is already a document which lists widely publicly obtainable information of where to get glyphs, an officially sanctioned one might be better received.

While this of course wont guarantee unscrupulous creators making people pay for glyphs, it would be easier to hold them to account and could go some way in making the whole situation more transparent, while still maintaining the freedom for creators to distribute as they wish.

    Opinions?

  8. First off, let me say that I'm really glad to see some content creators pitch in - really helps get all perspectives on the discussion!

That being said, I think part of what makes glyphs a somewhat problematic issue is the freedom partners get to distribute. For people who want to collect, or to support various creators they like, or even just to proudly display a glyph they like & give some free advertising; there is no clear way to do so. This can contribute to the issue of creators getting pestered to give glyph codes; people might not all know exactly how to get it, and so can cause trouble.

I am fairly sure that the creators who have replied here are fairly generous with their glyphs, either via stream giveaways, community events, etc. But this does not mean that all creators do so; some still effectively making people pay real money for their glyph, even though it's something which DE has stated should not happen. Of course, a loyal community should be rewarded - but where does a creators community end and the wider audience begin?

For the content creators - I see a lot of disagreement with the original suggestions put forward, so what would you suggest be done? We can't exactly tell people 'STOP COLLECTING' in a game that mostly revolves around collecting. But considering it's sufficiently problematic that it had to be brought up on the last Devstream, it's obviously not an insignificant issue, so perhaps not best things stay as they are.

  9. Hello everyone!

Just a quick reminder - when the next Clan Operation goes live (currently scheduled for this week, could even be coming today!), while you are very welcome to put your information here we will NOT be accepting or looking at any recruits, until after the event ends.

Also, if you are one of the few still waiting for a reply from an Officer, or want to apply during the event - even if we don't manage a prompt reply, never fear. While we are pretty much at full capacity right now, do the best you can during this event and you can re-apply afterwards.

Good luck everyone, and enjoy the event!

  10. Hello everyone, and thank you for your interest!

We're in the process of recouperating from all the hard work put in during the event. We will be taking a look over all of the entries here and speaking to candidates in due time, so please be patient with us! In the meantime, you can make sure that you've looked over the requirements & answered the questions.

Hope you all had an enjoyable week playing the event, and hope to speak with you all soon!

  11. We have been getting a lot of interest at the moment, so I should clarify here:

In the interest of fairness, we will most likely not be accepting recruits during the time the current Operation (Pacifism Defect) is active.

However, if you have read the requirements & posted your information here, we will go back over all of them after the Operation is over (March 9th)!

Thank you all for your continued interest, and hope to speak with you all next week :)

  12. I am one of those that very much enjoy the faster bomb charging speed, but I can also see @ButterLutter's point about it being harder on beginners.

Perhaps a suitable compromise would be to keep the fast charging bombs for the Nightmare version of The Law of Retribution? It is meant to be a harder trial after all, and returning the slower bomb charging speed to the normal version of the raid will still allow it to be accessible for newer raiders.

I'm sure others can think up of a better solution though.
