  1. This is good timing because recently I just got someone back into Warframe last week. They asked me "OK so I want to farm that fancy Incarnon and Styanax, how do I get that?"

To which I replied "You need to complete The New War."

"What do I need to get done to start The New War?"

"Build a Railjack, a Necramech, and about 4 quests."

"F that, I'm just gonna pop relics, turn brain off and farm random frames."

The story skip is NOT evil, it has it's uses. It's not even for new players who have no idea how to play, it could be used for returning players who seen trailers for new updates which grabbed their interest and wants to jump straight into that, instead of going through a laundry list of prerequisites. And as someone who enjoys Warframe's story, I know there are people out there that just don't care about plot and just wants to shoot the shiny gun at enemies and wants to get straight into the meat of the gameplay.

That is to say, I understand the concerns most players have. "A brand new player with no idea how to play, suddenly skips to current content? They'll have no idea how to play." My suggestion, then, is instead of a simple "straight skip" to instead make the skip activate a special quest to "skill check" a player. They'll have to show they have a certain baseline level of skill to beat the quest in order to prove they can play the new content. The new quest may also give a special summary of the story, which can give players a tease of what they're missing to pique their interest in replaying old content later. Just think of it as "Vor's Prize 2.0" mixed with Mastery Rank tests 1-10 or something.

I'm just tossing ideas that probably have a dozen issues I'm missing, there will probably be a lot wrong with my suggestion but my main point is, we can be creative with this. We can solve issues in unique ways that makes as many people happy as possible, though it's impossible to make EVERYONE happy. And for anyone who took the time to read through this, no matter which side you're on, keep an open mind, respect opinions and concerns of all players to improve this game.

  2. I am pretty sure I had one, and also it was equipped to my redeemer prime, but all of a sudden I found my Bullet Dance stance mod missing. I am 100% sure I had two copies, 1 I traded to my friend which I am sure was my unranked one, while I kept the fully ranked on. When I went to swap out some mods on my Redeemer Prime, i found the stance empty and missing.

  3. I just pulled a Miwan riven from today's sorite and have been trying to figure out what would be the best component route to go to building the Zaw. sword or polearm? Crit, status, balance or sheer damage? I was never good with too much options...

    Riven stats at max are:

    + 140.5% damage

    + 102.3% slash

    +41.8% damage to corpus

    - 82.4$ impact

  4. It's not much, but I think Titania's Razorwing should work with Aviator and Agility Drift.

The mods state that if a frame is in the air they gain so and so stats. At first glance it seems like the two have synergy, but thats not the case. How the mods currently work  is that they detect if a warframe is currently being affected by gravity while airborne before applying the stats. Razorwing, on the other hand, ignores gravity completely.

If they would just change it so that she can have these buffs while in Razorwing, I think it would benefit her and give her a bit more variety to her builds.

  5. Personally I like Atlas's theme as a stone titan, but like most players I found skills 2-4 lacking. Here are my two cents on possible changes that can be done to improve him a bit.

Landslide: Currently good as it is as a 1 ability. Though most people are asking for buffs to it, I think the augment should be changed instead.

-The first punch on a new enemy will petrify them, and any other punch on a petrified enemy will do bonus impact damage and ignores armor. This will synergize better with Petrify, though that skill is also pretty weak.

-Path of Statues Augment: Currently not very viable as a skill. Compared to Nezha who can run fire trails around an objective and basically cover the entire map in flames, the path that Atlas creates from his punch rushing is small and the odds of an enemy stepping on it is extremely low unless the player did some fancy maneuvering. I would rather see a bigger build up in power strength and damage the more its used in rapid succession, like with each kill during his Landslide he gains a buff until his combo counter runs out.

Tectonics: Only real use for it is to block a door and even then its not perfect. The augment is also not that great, you can wall off a defense point instead, but a Frost bubble or a Gara wall would be more efficient. In my opinion it can either be tweaked better or reworked.

-Casting Tectonics will cause the wall to spring up like usual, but anything under it when it springs up will be hit with impact damage.

-Second cast will send the boulder flying until it hits a target and it detonates (or with another cast) for impact or blast damage.

-The wall can be targeted by Landslide, which will blow out the wall and hits enemies with debris.

-Wall can be replaced by a wave of stone spikes, similar to Frost's Ice wave or Nidus's Virulence

Petrify: Everyone is in agreement that this is waaaay too slow and unreliable for practical use.

-Make it an instant cast petrify for anything looking at Atlas instead of a gradual change.

    -Fix the weird cone AoE

-Allow the use of other abilities to break out of the toggle, such as Landslide (similar to what they did to Hydroid)

-Make petrified enemies have reduced armor

-Inflict bonus damage if petrified enemies are struck by Landslide

-Ore Gaze augment: Change it so that petrified enemies have a slightly increased chance to drop rare loot when killed. This will make his farming capabilities on par with others like Hydroid, Nekros or Ivara, and make him a viable option for farming.

Rumblers: Personally I like the idea of Rumblers. Are they good? Not in the least, but with recent content I have a few ideas to improve it.

-Make the Rumblers mod-able. With the pending update with Khora and her pet, we get a Warframe Ability-based companion that can be equipped with mods. This is very important because customizing is what players love the most. Currently Rumblers depend solely on Atlas's stats, but if they depend on their own mods for stats instead, then I can see them being a lot more useful.

    -Improve the AI a lot.

-Make the Rumblers target anything your cross hair is targeting when you recast your skill again (similar to Khora's kavat skill.)

-Make Rumblers prioritize targets that have been petrified, or turn petrified enemies into mini-Rumblers when they kill them.

  6. I'll try and keep this as informative as possible.

    Queue: Solo

    Cetus Plains, night.

    Loadout: Nidus, Lenz, Staticor, Helios+Deconstructor,

Went to geyser pond near entrance, killed Grineer and two Vaumbalysts.

Jumped into rock in the middle of the pond, equipped Peram spear, managed to catch around 5 fish.

Water became turbulent (fish frenzy, whatever the term is) equipped Cuthol Bait. Tossed bait in, waited for fish to spawn.

Cuthol spawned, attempted to catch it but forgot Peram spear is not effective.

(Here is where things get weird)

Swapped over to Lanzo Spear, but instead of equipping spear I swapped over to primary weapon. I select spear from wheel, which was now Lanzo spear instead of my default Peram spear. Immediately all fish de-spawns.

Swapped back to Peram spear, but it switches me to secondary instead. Re-equipped fishing spear from gear wheel (default now Peram again). Fish re-spawned in, including another Cuthol, so I swapped spears and got a repeat of earlier. Then from then on, no matter how long I waited or how much bait I tossed in or different locations I went to, fish would not spawn. I used up about 4-5 Cuthol bait.

    I hope this helps.

  7. Squad of 4, grouped together and entered plains from ship.

Sought out and killed Eidolon and Vaumbaulysts, then headed back.

I used archwing and flew right to door, then entered into the hallway first, then rest of the squad entered. We proceeded to wait, but everyone confirmed that all other characters were frozen in place for each other, though chat still functioned.

Eventually the game did a host migration, then booted me from the mission saying there was a connection error and it was returning me to the multiplayer menu.

Mission screen displayed as a failure, got only credits. Game offered to reconnect me to the squad, which i did, and only entered Cetus via landing craft and not the door.

Here's what my real mission results would have been:

I hope that was helpful enough, if theres any more info I can provide I'll try my best

  8. When: During Mastery Rank 22 test, Arena battle against 3 waves of enemies

What happened: Was hit with a magnetic trap during wave 2, causing my screen to display the static effect. At the same time I was hit by the trap, I finished the round, but the visual effect persisted into the entirety of round 3 (energy gains were not affected.)

    Loadout: Nidus, Unairu focus

    Vaykor Hek, Staticor, Galatine Prime.

Was using Staticor and Nidus's Virulence/Larva/Parasitic Link in conjuncture at the time of the bug occurring.

    I hope this was informative!
