Speaking of Hyekka masters, why do they seem to have more dps, health and armor than heavy gunners but only give a fraction of their experience?

    Straight from the Codex:

Hyekka Master: 650 Flesh, 200 Ferrite Armour = total of 850

Heavy Gunner: 300 Flesh, 500 Ferrite Armour = total of 800

Don't know about the DPS, but I'd imagine that it's because Hyekka Masters are basically useless at longer ranges, while Gunners are still pseudo-accurate.

Kuva hyekka masters are utterly broken. And considering that they randomly spawn during siphons out of thin air they are the most annoying and infuriating enemy in the game. Because if they spawn in 5 meter radius from you are just dead. What the heck they can kill you even before seeing them spawn and I'm not joking, it happened to me several times. I was in "safe" spot with no enemies around, got staggerlocked and whlie I died I've seen him appear right in front of me. How am I supposed to play smart with a stupid mechanic as that? At least give me a couple of second to see them before they start firing.

Agreed. I'd like to see it added where Kuva reinforcements can drop in via Grineer Dropship (once they are implemented) instead of just appearing out of thin air.

They removed the enemy Ignis Punch-through a while back. What they changed recently was the Scorcher AI.

They gave them the Grineer Seeker AI which doesn't balance the damage that they can dish out it just makes them try to stay away from you and hardly shoot at you. The scaling issues are still present, they're just less noticeable below lvl 100 due to fall-off but make no mistake that 50% fall-off from 100,000 DPS will still nuke you later in levels.

Giving Hyeka Masters the same AI would likely conflict with some of their abilities and so it's not likely to happen. At any rate, they're not nearly as problematic with the Ignis as they are with their firebombs. Scorchers would point directly at you with Ignis, Hyeka wave it around and never quite give you the full punishment.

...But this is what happens when you take a short cut instead of fixing the actual problem which is enemy scaling damage output.

I'm not interested in changing the AI, I want to change the way they fire. Make it so it's like the normal Hyekka Masters, and there's no problem.

  4. In recent updates, DE nerfed Scorches so they aren't the broken, wall-punching nukes they've been since SOtR. Which is fantastic, they're finally balanced.

However... they kinda forgot about Kuva Hyekka Masters. Who have the same stupid flamethrower as before. And are tougher, with minions.

Not to mention they spawn in missions where I have to use a 100 HP, 0 armour, child. Not fun.

So.... For the sake of every solo Kuva Farmer's sanity (mine included), can we get a nerf for them? Please DE? Pretty please with a cherry on top?

Exterminate and ods its ok, but.. musical note memory puzzle? like really? puzzle? its worst thing after nerfing synoid simulor and tonkor. DE change her Chassis drop location to.. idk. like odd, another Exterminate (uranus?) odd, void\etc.

It's not even that hard. Open some recording software, record it (about 6-7 seconds worth) and go for it.

You were asking about " advanced system of gameplay" and it's called TRAINING.

And Limbo? LOL just read his passive?

Yes, because new players are definitely going to know to find a full, comprehensive list of abilities in the market/codex, and know that it also applies to them too.

    totally

OK, I give up... you guys just want the game to do everything for you and tell you what to do... what reminds me how people was complying about that:

Mate, if a game is going to introduce an advanced system of gameplay, that's fine by me, but at least show some semblance of a tutorial for god's sake.

When the new guy is playing solo... he wouldn't be in situation like that... and if he plays Limbo he probably will figure it out after few seconds... when plays with others... well they can tell him "use shift button". Why the game have to inform/tell you everything? What are you guys? 5 YEARS OLD KIDS?

How do you know he'll be playing Solo? If he plays Limbo, sure, but there's no guarantee he'll play Limbo any time soon. I had Limbo sitting in my foundry for over a year before I built him. And as for others telling him, sure there's a good chance, but perhaps they'll just ignore him? Not likely, but I don't like leaving things to chance. I feel as if you're basing too many things on assumptions.

So basically language isn't the problem here... telling them "use/click shift" isn't hard to understand.

The problem is that the game is not telling you EVERYTHING and you need to learn it by yourself... but is that the real problem? Maybe the real problem is laziness?

This isn't a problem of laziness. This is a problem of new players not knowing what in the hell they're supposed to be doing.

Player: "Okay so I'm in this cartoony place. what is it?"

    Game: "I dunno."

    Player: ...what put me here?

    Game: "I dunno."

P: "so...How do I get out of it?"

G: "idk figure it out yourself lol"

Where are you from? Zimbabwe? Syria? Probably not if you have time and your own computer... even if your native language isn't english (hi, I'm from Poland) you know enough to communicate right? English is basic in EVERY game... hell in your life when you want to communicate with other country you start with english am I wrong? And lol "spends their whole life looking at Squad chat" duuuude... that's just arguing because why not.

I don't disagree with you, but not every player is going to be taught in English. Not to mention that Warframe can get very technical, thus making some of the wording get lost in translation.

Could you not say the same of Volt's speed?

As a limbo it's the player's responsibility to banish only when asked, and to tell others how to get out if needed.

Until they start playing him there's no way for the game to let them know.

Unless you suggest they read a couple inch thick manual of what power does what.

It's part and parcel of being a newbie to learn things as you come across them. Same as real life.

Thing is, Volt's speed isn't directly altering the way you play the game. It's just making you move faster. Banish completely flips the way you fight on its head.

I think this is a problem we also have with other frames. But it becomes worse with every new frame introduced. Limbo is the worst atm because of cataclysm and statis. But if new players play in a group with Octavia it is also not clear how they get buffed. Or that enemies linked to Trin should not be killed first. - New players will only understand these things when they have acquired the very frames they have to play along with on every mission.

It would be nice to have a small introduction for each new frame that new players team up in public matches.

I can see that. It wouldn't be too much excess work for DE, perhaps a few lines done by Rebecca, or a HUD overlay similar to the one on Kuva missions.

  13. So, I've recently built Limbo for the first time, to explore him after the rework. For the most part I like it. However, there is one thing that irks me: Limbo's banish, particularly, how it impacts newer players.

As someone who certainly isn't new, (I'm MR19, well on my way to 20, with over 4000 hours logged)  I figured out how to get in and out of the Rift pretty easily; it's integral to my kit, after all. However, something I've noticed is that newer players (for example, someone under MR10) or players who have never seen or fought alongside a Limbo, are pretty much left in the dark by DE on how to get in and out of the rift. As far as I know, there isn't any hints from, perhaps, the Lotus, which explains what's going on when you get banished. I suggest that something like this is added, so that newer players, or inexperienced players, are less irritated by not being able to smack anything in the face for no discernible reason.

For members of an active clan yes... Let me lay out the problem some of us face: Example - Shadow Clan needs 3800 point for the Ignis Wraith BP, we have 30 members, only 4-6 online each second day. We need at least 7-9 members with a personal score of 460+ to make this work. 460+ points for a personal high score would take some of my clan members 3 hours+ in a single mission. Only 6 days left... You see the problem?

    I see your problem.

  15. Currently, there is an issue where running an exterminate mission when more enemies are spawned in, they don't add to the enemy counter on the left of the screen, resulting in extraction popping up prematurely, and the Lotus' audio line playing while there are still enemies.

Edit: Upon playing multiple extermination missions with some mates, this appears to be an issue with all exterminate missions.
