  1. So, first Space Mom woke us up from a really long nap that we were probably enjoying. After that we saved Illegitimate Space Merchant & we killed Ugly Cyborg Space Djinn. We also had an amazing time discovering what it was like to have the Space Fungus, by watching entire ships of people die to it. All was quite for a while till we found Space Doggo & then we got Robot Space Dragonfly Wings that are really hard to pilot. Since we got Space Doggo I'm sure a lot of people used it to capture (or rescue, depends how you see it) Somewhat Annoying and Frustrating Space Plunderer Acquaintance. Our poster boy, Space King Arthur, helped us gain new friends, like Space Barry Allen, Female Space Magneto, Bullet Magnet Jean Grey, Ninja Vanish, Headbutt Them Till They Die, & Slow-mo Moonwalker. Space King Arthur also helped us find Grenades For Days, Raging Space Kitty, Deer-Goat Man, Space Hades, Hemlock Thing That Killed Socrates, Kill It With Fire, Psychopathic Assassin's Creed Murderer, Santa Claus, Flappy Bird, Queen Bug Butt, & everyone's favorite, Yell At Jericho Till Its Walls Fall Down. There was also one known as Space Puddle, but we don't often speak of Space Puddle.

After that we took a break, relaxing, stabbing Grineer, punching every credit out of the Corpus, joining syndicates, farming in general. Then Square Space Star Voice told us about Weird Elemental Space Dragon & we were all happy, until Somewhat Annoying Space Cube Voice That We Can't Get Rid Of told us about Gentleman Space Ghost. Some people liked Gentleman Space Ghost, but he was hated by a lot too. But people were pleased when the Void blessed them with Multiplewoman Space Jester.

Once again we thought there was going to be a break, but then a previous bad guy that gave us Raging Space Kitty turned into Fungus Salad Space Man, & gave everyone Space Annie Oakley, who quickly became a favorite. In a cycle of liked & disliked friends, we also discovered Giant Fungus Square, & there was much debate about how to free the pebbles of One Punch Rock Man from the Giant Fungus Square. Around this time we also discovered My Feet Smell So Bad It Burns & Jackie Chan From That Movies Series With Jack Black. But don't forget, around this time we also found & rescued Space Best Friend (CLEM!!)

Once again all seemed quite, until the syndicates decided they would spontaneously have missions for us to do. So they gave us cool ways to rescue Please Listen To My Dubstep, I'm The Real Fungus Among Us, & Deer-Goat Man's wife, Crazy Little Murder Fairy. Even Somewhat Snobby Space Merchant helped us find Darude Sandstorm.

We thought all was lost, but then, it came.... Madame Skeleton Witch, & with her, more importantly, a very hated cinematic quest. We scoured the planet that Space Puddle should have been from and discovered that Space Mom was not what she seemed... and that was it..... UNTIL!!!  We got another, much more loved Cinematic Quest. In this, we battled the wits of Space Grandpa, as we fought off against Angry Space Cousin, & struggled to wrap our minds around the fact that we were truly Magic Space Children.... & then everything was back to normal with the farming & the stabbing & the punching.

We soon were able to explore the depths of Ugly Cyborg HQ, in a Cinematic Quest that made us follow around Somewhat Likable Space Uncle That Acted Like He Taught Us More Than He Did (I know, one hell of a family title, am I right?). We followed SLSUTALHTUMTHD to Ugly Cyborg HQ, where we discovered Space Auntie That Everyone's Appalled By Because She's Really Freaking Old And Smokes Three Packs A Day. So.... we killed SATEABBSRFOASTPAD & rescued SLSUTALHTUMTHD. Then we drank sat on a mountain and drank blood from Very Distant Space Relatives We Don't Know, after which we heard Space Dad talk to us in a really creepy way. (God I've been typing a lot haven't I?)

After that were left to the whims of the Void and the well loved entities that make sure Invisible Cybernetic Insects don't destroy our amazing world. They love us, it shows by how they released a teaser trailer for Shadow King Miamoto Musashi, then immediately trolled everyone with Shiny Golden Pinecone... which I think they actually sold, ummm blessed some faithful followers with right? Anyway, Shadow King Miamoto Musashi was king of Hypelandia, Land of Endless Hype. But that's irrelevant at this point because we got the Amber Waves of Grass and Walking Rock Man update. This also let us experience the power of... glass... Some people made stained glass, so i guess Glass Medusa ran off faith sometimes? And soon thereafter we were given one of the few ideas that could be made lately, Crazy Old Cat Lady.

Anyways, after that we Space Mom made the bad decision, again, to run off with Space Dad & we didn't see her for a while. Until... we were finally able to have him... SKMM... He came to us, in a black scarf, man it must be cold where he's from... But he led us on an amazing journey in which we discovered that Space Dad was a raging psychopath and that he tortured SKMM with the Space Fungus and made him really freaking crazy & kill his own son. It took a while to get through, but we finally, erm, regretfully and with no other course of action stabbed Space Dad in the guts. At which time Space Mom came down & rescued dying Space Dad & told her mom that she was coming back.

Great... Space Grandma. What'll we have to kill next Extreme Digital Entities? HUH?!?! Space Uncle Number 6, Space Concubine Number 18? What's up your sleeve?!...

I like writing but Lord do my fingers kinda hurt.

(Disclaimer: I honestly have no idea if i got the order of the frames or non-storyline quests correct. I really don't care though, just thought this would be funny to do, hope those of you that read all of it enjoyed it and had a little bit of a laugh)

WARNING: THIS POST CONTAINS MY OPINION

My opinion, however, goes far beyond just disliking Archwing, I have a burning hatred towards it. If I were never forced to touch it, it would be 'fine'. The resources spent by DE is a shame, but I can live with it. Mastery doesn't matter too much to me that is fine as well.

When they force me in it on Uranus in order to complete the Kuva flood, or add Archwing alerts with Nitain in them, that's when I have to take a break and untilt.

Is my severe dislike towards archwing justified? Probably not. But it's there, and I don't want to touch it, and I don't want DE to waste spend any more time on it.

I do respect your opinion, as everyone is entitled to have their own about anything, but you have proved his/her point, at least to an extent. He/she said that DE should take it out because you don't like it, which is basically what you've said in saying that you don't want DE to spend/waste anymore time or resources on it. But like I said, it's far too ingrained into the game for it to be shut down, & just like everything else that has been improved recently & in the past, Archwing has the potential to be better than it is, & actually be as good as it was intended to be. That being said, that is my opinion on what you have said, & I really would prefer to keep this as a civil conversation, so please don't get up in arms over it because that would discredit what you're trying to say about Archwing, or further prove the idea that it should be gone because you don't like it, or both.

You don't understand, he doesn't like it so DE should get rid of it.

No I completely understand, that's just how games work. I've seen it a lot before, in other things like DCUO, a few people are upset so everything gets nerfed & removed. I can only hope that DE will not try to stoop down to please the people that are upset about everything

    Archwing was a mistake.

The sooner they pull the plug on it the better.

If they were to completely pull the plug they would have to remove & rework more content, just by removing that one thing. The Limbo quest would need reworking, Natah, TWW, Formorians & Razorbacks, the actual Archwing quest that you need to do to advance, etc. As much as it may be hated in practice, & loved in theory, it's too ingrained in the game for it to just be removed

Archwing is preaty much in the same place Conclave is (only safer to talk about without having to prepare for somebody to freak out and start fighting).
Many great things can be done with it, but from a develepor point of view...updating a game mode that barely gets any attention is just, risky.
And well of course Archwing isn't played more, there is no reason to it other then ''ya, I feel like playing Archwing today''...it's kind of stuck there too untill we get a decent update for it...which is unlikely.

Like I said, I have my doubts that Archwing will be getting any love, but the only way to make a barely played game mode into a frequently played mode, or at least more often, is to make it better & more appealing than it is. So yeah, it's stuck in limbo with Conclave

  6. So the latest updates have been pretty good, though some have been odd getting used to, like the Rubble stuff with Atlas. The beam weapons are fantastic now. But as the title says, what about Archwing? This is a feature that I, & a lot of people like, but don't enjoy. It's nearly impossible to control in terms of stopping & maneuvering around maps of any kind, & depth perception practically doesn't exist. The visuals are a bit easier in Plains, since the enemies are normal sized & their distance can be somewhat judged, but in the space missions enemies that are the same size as you are 2 or 3 times as large. However, even though depth perception is a bit better there, it seems like speeds has gone up ten fold in Plains, making it impossible to stop or keep a position to target ground enemies. In both Plains & space the movement is easily thrown off. in space if I barely even hit the top of something it throws me back & if I manage to keep going by hitting the side of something I'm practically flying sideways. In Plains if I fly full speed, while holding the spacebar so I can stay going up, I begin to sink in the air, & i have to come to a very difficult full stop just to regain control.

As much as I love the concept of Archwing it needs a ton of work, & I really hope you guys (the Dev team that is) are working on something to make it better. But I do have my doubts about it since I haven't seen anything about a rework or fixes at all.

  7. Like the title says, I'm not getting the correct amount of syndicate standing from missions. I noticed it when I did a mission with Ivara in which I got about 3.3k standing, but I got just over 1k when I checked my standing on Red Veil. Dunno if it's the mission telling me that I'm getting the amount I'm supposed to, or if it's something else not registering that I'm supposed to get what the mission says

  11. Several bugs I have already had. In Plains sometimes when I kill the small sentients their stuff drops outside the blue energy wall if they're close to it.

When I complete a mission in the Plains & return to Cetus it doesn't properly register my ranks & the amount of XP I get on my gear, saying that I sometimes get 1/4 or 1/2 of what I actually got. It also says that all my stuff is unranked when I finish the mission

And finally, I still can't get my Twitch stuff from watching streams. I watched Brozime & was there for several hours, I don't remember how long. I was there for the achievements & the majority of the stream. I have relogged several times, my account is linked, & I have checked Twitch in case I needed to claim something there. The only in-game message I've gotten is from Darvo about the Scindo & Soma prime loot. Am I being screwed over here or is there a time frame in which it will come?

  12. So I've been looking around YouTube & google for an overview of the market that will come with Plains of Eidolon. I so a lot of stuff (notably the Hok's Anvil & the stuff with Kavats) in the TennoCon video. The video obviously didn't cover the entire market & I was wondering if anyone could tell me or point me to where I can find out what all will actually be in the market, if that list actually exists. Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

  13. Like I also said in my reply earlier, I have considered that each of his abilities be a separate weapon, & I'm eventually going to make a repost where I'll change it all around, except for Wrath because that's really the only one that fits well (I don't like the powers I put up there, but I thought about that part on the fly). That would make a lot of sense because of the whole "gladiator" part. Also, just like you said about Wukong & Nezha, you don't need any background knowledge to understand this. You don't need to know what gods any of his abilities are themed after, just that they're themed after some gods. Naming the ability after a god doesn't ask the player to do anything really. You don't need to understand who Neptune is to understand that you just used a trident. Or the same about the hammer, or what Hades & Olympus are. Also, like I said they aren't completely a WIP, meaning Wrath, & I'm still going to change them around later on.

  14. Just now, SenorClipClop said:

Interesting, but I have a few points:

    • He's called the "Gladiator" Warframe, but all of his inspiration comes from Greek myth, and Gladiators are Roman sport fighters. There's a bit of a themeing mismatch.
    • While Warframe ability effects are becoming more concrete and less Void-swirly, Olympiad's abilities seem to be very much pulled right from myth and into Warframe. How can we justify his theme to fit into the Warframe universe and fit, rather than having a Greek (Roman?) myth amalgam thrust into a magical ninja robot world?
    • He's a melee Warframe with high Armor, but only one (maybe two?) of his abilities lean him toward the melee end of things. The one ability that does lean toward melee (#1) is very expensive and cannot be cast rapidly.
    • His other 3 abilities seem to all be damaging deployables, set-and-forgets. Not bad, but how does this work into the frame being a brawler? If these deployables could set up his fighting potential in some way, they might be a little more cohesive.
    • There's a lack of synergy. Newer Warframes are being made to have their abilities flow into one another and combo for greater effect. How can Olympiad's skills be modified to ensure this?

Let's try envisioning how this Warframe would play a standard round of Defense. Which abilities would he use first, and why? What would he excel at? What would he struggle with? Which weapons would a player want to take along, and why? These are all important considerations when making a concept.

    1. I know it that gladiators are from Rome, & the Roman gods are the same as Greek gods, just different names. Like Poseidon is Neptune, Hephaestus is Vulcan (which I'll probably change it to that because "Hephaestus" might be too long of a name)

    2. Wukong & Nezha are both mythological

    3. I never said that you had to recast his first ability. It's basically like Equinox's Pacify & Provoke or ekros's Desecrate (don't know that that's the name of that power, been a while since I played him) in that you don't have to spam it to use it. But I do have a tendency to make things that I understand hard to understand for other people so I can typically see where there's confusion.

    4. He's not just a brawler, he's meant to be like a gladiator. And I did consider making each of his abilities a separate type of weapon, but I'm still not sure if that would be a viable option, since other frames like Wukong & Excalibur only have their 1 weapon, even though they were designed around that weapon.

    5. I want him to be, as the title says, like the Warrior of Gods, & I feel that this frame needs the variety to actually be that.

    6. In defense he could turn on Wrath & use it to build up the point like Nidus does with Virulence, by killing enemies with that ability. When about 40 points are reached on that scale, since that's the first level of the affect of casting the ability again, it can stun enemies for a time which will make them easier to take out. That will be useful with harder enemies as well as any others.

    7. I didn't really think much on the abilities as much as the rest of aspects of the frame. I do appreciate the feed back, though. And like I said I'm going to make a repost when I can get some concept art made & I'll definitely change the abilities a lot, since that's really where his biggest problems are.

  15. This is the first concept I've made for Warframe, & anything really. I hope that I can get some support with this & I hope that you, the rest of the community, enjoy it.

This is Olympiad. The Gladiator. The Warrior of gods. He destroys enemies with the flames of the forge, strikes them down with lightning from the skies, and claims their life with powers from the depths. Many have fallen by his hand, will you be the latest victim? Or will you be the champion of the arena?

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overall Description: Olympiad is the Gladiator frame. He's designed to outlast his enemies with large amounts of armor, health, & shields. Olympion's abilities are based around damage, while also maintaining a decent amount of crowd control.

    • Armor: 400 (Similar to Chroma, Atlas, & Valkyr, in that he is a high damage, but defensive Frame.)
    • Energy: 75 (A large amount of energy because his abilities are expensive to use)
    • Health: 175
    • Shield: 150
    • Sprint Speed: 1.1 (Not meant to be a fast Frame. He's meant to out last not out run)

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Appearance: Olympiad's appearance is based on what anyone would picture a gladiator or Spartan to look. His primary helmet is a Spartan helmet without a face slot (because Warframe helmets don't usually have faces, making them look like nopperabou), & with a tall mohawk. Leather sandals with knee metal plates on the shins. Leather gloves with metal studs on the knuckles, & bracers from the wrist to the elbow. Feathers sticking up out of the shoulders, the elbow end of the bracers, & the top.  A large, pauldron with a lion head design in its center on the left shoulder (removable attachment). Normal Spartan breastplate & leather strap kilt with a large leather belt covering most of the abdomen.

    • Primary Color: Bronze (sort of a burnt yellow, or dull gold is the closest I can think of to bronze); all the metal armor
    • Secondary: Dark Brown; all the leather areas
    • Tertiary: Dark grey/almost black; the "skin" areas not covered by armor.
    • Accents: Bright red; the mohawk & the feathers
    • Energy: Standard blue that's on just about every Frame

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Abilities: Olympiad's powers are based around gladiatorial combat & the respective powers of the various Greek gods they're named after. These aren't completely a WIP but I'm not really sure about their order, but the names & affects I'm content with. The affects, such as radius or duration, are based on max rank.

    1. Wrath: Using this will convert Olympiad to a brawler, in a similar way to Exalted Blade or Primal Fury. Using this ability turns the hands, feathers, & mohawk blood red. Each kill will build up points similar to Nidus's Virulence & Equinox's Mend & Maim. While points build up, the damage & armor slowly build up for all the squad members in range. Upon using the ability again Olympiad will slam his fist together, detonating & releasing a red, blood-like mist in all directions that will stun enemies & give allies a damage boost.
      1. This ability costs 50 energy to turn on; it does not drain energy.
      2. The max number of points that can be built up while in use is 120
      3. The radius of the damage & armor boost is pre-detonation is 75 meters
      4. The radius of the stun effect & damage boost is based on the number of points & divided into thirds. Every 40 points will add 25 meters to the radius. The affects last for 8 seconds & can be increased with power duration
      5. The stun affect will cause enemies to cower in fear & increase the critical chance & critical damage for allies by 50% (not sure on that part).
    2. Flames of Hephaestus: Olympiad summons a giant, flaming bronze hammer which he slams into the ground. This launches a swirling column of smoke, fire, & lava that leaves a flaming path in its wake.
      1. Costs 75 energy to use
      2. Radius of the column is 7 meters & can be increased with power range.
      3. The radius of the path is also 7 meters & 30 meters long.
    3. Poseidon's Pitchfork (JK Gonna call it Neptune's Trident): Olympiad summons a trident made of water & stabs it into the ground at his feet. This creates a whirlpool of water around him that slows & damages enemies over time.
      1. This costs 25 energy to use & drains energy over time. (I don't really know much about the numbers on energy drain so I can't give a good percentage per second thing for it)
      2. The radius around Olympiad is 10 meters & can be increased with power range.
      3. There are.... no additional affects.
    4. Hades & Olympus: Olympiad summons a large lightning storm at a targeted point that strikes all enemies that enter into range & irradiates enemies that aren't killed by it.
      1. Costs 100 energy to use.
      2. Radius is 30 meters from the target point.
      3. The lightning bolts are random, if enemies are hit, they are irradiated. If allies are hit, the weapon they are currently using receives radiation damage with a 100% status chance.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Passive: Olympiad's passive is based around various Olympic events.

    • Olympiad's athleticism allows him to jump higher; wall climb faster; sprint faster; & throw objects farther & with more damage than any other frame.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Quest: Like I said in the title, this is an idea for a Teshin Quest to receive Olympiad. The entire quest is solo, replayable, & requires completion of War Within.

    • Teshin has discovered an ancient arena built by the Orokin on Earth. He was not the only one to find it. Baro Ki'Teer, Darvo, & Maroo have also found out about it's existence
    • Teshin has called upon your assistance in keeping Baro, Darvo, & Maroo from looting the arena dry, but also to help him search for something. He says that when he first arrived at the arena he went to the balcony where he found vials of Kuva. He asks you to do a bit more exploring because he feels he cannot continue his exploration (due to the events of the War Within. Not going to say what those are because spoilers, even though I'm pretty sure even new players find out about it almost immediately)
    • After arriving at the Colosseum you find that there is some force keeping you from entering in your Warframe. After walking dim, sunlit halls & examining several piles of bone, discarded & broken weapons, & pools of Kuva blood. You find your self at the entrance of the actual arena. In the center of the arena you find  a statue of Olympiad.
      • This is where a cut scene starts. You are startled by maniacal laughter coming from the balcony behind you. An old Orokin with a Roman javelin themed speargun appears and blah blah, dialogue that I don't have any ideas for.
      • The Orokin slams his speargun into the ground & the statue of Olympiad comes alive & attacks you. The statue is, at this point, indestructible, & defeats you.
    • After this you wake up outside the Colosseum next to your Warframe, at this point Teshin calls you to talk to you at the mountains on Earth, the same ones from the War Within. There, you'll find Maroo, Baro, Darvo,& Teshin. Teshin then explains what it is that attacked you & what exactly the Colosseum is. That being a place where war-oriented Orokin can choose victims for their Continuity.
    • After this Teshin has you go back to the Colosseum. You still can't enter with your Warframe, but this time when you get to the arena there is a (Probably random) selection of 5 normal frames & melee weapons to choose from (nothing like nidus or anything that can heal you), all with un-modded stats. Once you choose a frame & a weapon, you'll be put behind 1 of 5 cage doors which will open & you'll have to fight the 4 other frames (powers are unusable, to make it less unbearably hard to do this part), & 1 operative from each of the syndicates, each with their respective melee weapons. In order to complete this mission you'll need to win the battle royale. Completing this will award you with the Olympiad chassis blueprint & the themed secondary blueprint.
      • You'll have to do this 2 more times, the 2nd time will be done with Prime Warframes (not Excalibur Prime, to avoid any pains about him) & Prime Melee weapons, & 2 operatives from each syndicate. Powers will be usable, Warframes & operatives will have buffed stats, & ult abilities will not be usable (like Bladestorm, Miasma, or Overload, to avoid making the battle royale to easy). Completion will award the Olympiad systems blueprint & the themed melee blueprint.
      • The 3rd time you will be able to use your own equipment (minus companions & just melee weapons) & you'll be up against everything from the previous battles, including the Olympiad statue, which will not be indestructible this time. After the battle, there's another cut scene about the Orokin that was watching the battle. Teshin then kills him (again, don't want to spoil things about War Within). Upon completing this mission, you'll receive the Olympiad neuroptics blueprint & the themed primary that belonged to the Orokin
    • After completing these battles you'll be asked to the mountains again, where there's more dialogue, probably about how awesome you are with melee weapons after the experience. Teshin then says that he doesn't know what caused the events in the Colosseum. The Orokin was much older than the last one, & was not event a habitant of the Colosseum. Maroo then admits she "might have taken" a relic while when you first arrived at the Colosseum. She then gives you the Olympiad blueprint

The reason that the parts awarded in the quest is because the only other way it would make sense to get the parts is as rewards from Teshin in Conclave, & no one would really be OK with that.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Weapons: I do have some ideas for themed weapons, but I started typing this late & I don't want to spent much more time creating stats for the weapons, but I will give some description. I will post the actual concept of these when I get a chance.

    1. Secondary: This is just a crossbow similar to an old fashioned European crossbow common to fantasy RPGs. It is a single bolt magazine, like Vectis or a bow. In-modded, it has 90 total ammo & runs off pistol ammo
    2. Melee: This is a sword/shield combo weapon. The sword is a Roman gladius & the shield wood & bronze tower shield. This new sword/shield would have a new stance with it, where holding down the melee attack button will cause the user to rush forward with the shield ahead of them, ramming anything in the way. The user will keep running until it hits a wall or anything that's not an enemy or a crate.
    3. Primary: This is the speargun that the Orokin in the quest has. It is shaped like a Roman pilum (a javelin with a long, rounded spearhead & has a long, thin pyramid-shaped guard between the spearhead & the rest of the javelin). This pilum as 2 lightning shaped prongs on the end of it instead of the spearhead. It has the standard reload & throwing speed for spearguns, & the same magazine size. Instead of being a charged fire weapon, it's a semi automatic weapon with a faster fire rate. Throwing the weapon causes the electric status proc to enemies nearby that lasts a little longer than if it were done by any other means.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Concept Art: I don't have any concept art prepared, & it will probably be a while before I can get it done because my skills with drawing on the computer aren't that great. But when I am able to make concept art it will be in a repost of this, as well as on Steam.

My Steam Concepts: I have a Steam group (just me in it) to easily find my concepts if you like them. They will have the same title & the same discussion content as my posts on the Warframe forums. Like I said, this is my first concept I've ever made, so don't expect to see a whole lot there right now.

  16. This is a great idea. Honestly it's something that has potential in Warframe, because of things like the Dark Split Sword & the glaive/pistol dual wield. Probably my favorite part is that parts are added to the gun as mods are added. That's something I think should already be in-game in the form of suppressors when silencing mods are on.

The problems I see have already been mentioned in the comments so I won't bother mentioning them again, but still, I think it's a fantastic concept & would love to see it in-game.

The problem is the programs needed to make items of the same quality as seen in Warframe are incredibly pricey. Modeling programs, Texturing programs, those cost a significant amount to not only create, but to buy the license for use. Maya, Max, Modo, for basic modeling programs, zBrush or Mudbox for high detail work, Substance Designer for unwrap, texture, and materials. DE cannot easily make one of these programs simply due to the complexity and power required for these to run, and these programs already exist with all the tools needed and are available for those that can afford them.

Sorry, like I said I tend to make things hard to understand, I mean a 2D drawing thing like GIMP. But I do see your point, though. The resources that would need to be devoted to it would be quite expensive, and it would take a lot of time & effort just to get it started.

  18. Before I start I would like to say that I have a tendency to explain things or label them in a way that some people don't understand. I want to clarify that about the title. I don't mean something to make skins form equipment, as is with TennoGen, I mean a program that actually lets us create equipment for the game, that aren't skins.

OK. So today I was watching some YouTube videos on our beloved Warframe game, when I came across the Concept Checkup channel (Rahetalius is the name if anyone would like to take a look at the videos) where there are videos going over player made frame concepts. I've watched a few of these about a sniper frame (Arbalest) and a beast frame (Furion), & I'd like to say that I love the ideas for them. I'd love to see these frames & many others that players have made to be put in-game. Now the reason I'm telling you guys this is because I don't know about anything created by a player that was put into the game, other than Silva & Aegis, which was a player-made concept. My point is that with all the ideas people have to make Warframes & weapons, myself included, I think it would be a smart move for DE to add a program that allows players to design equipment & post it on a forum for the program or the game.

Now, I've posted some ideas about other topics, whether on this game's forums or another's, & there's almost always someone who  says it won't end up working out. If you're one of those people please lookup Daybreak Games (formerly SONY) Player Studio. This is something that has allowed players to make things for games such as EQ2 & Planetside 2.

I hope that a lot of you that read this will agree with me and/or post your thoughts about it.

  19. I just want to say that I don't usually watch the Devstream right away, so I won't see the answer to this immediately. So thanks in advance if you guys can get around to my question

But, Warframe is undoubtedly a great game. Lots of sci-fi, ninja, mythological stuff going on that makes it fun. But really it just seems like a massive, endless resource farm. Always farming XP, always farming syndicate reputation, resources, etc. This gets old, at least for me, really fast. Trying out new frames, weapons, & other gear is always fun, but like I said, this endless farm of things gets old. One of the things that makes it worth while though is the quests. For example, I loved 2nd Dream & TWW, & as proof I've run through both of them at least 10 times each. But, like I've said, it gets old & redundant. I think Warframe needs something else there to be added.

I want to know, is there even the slightest chance, in any way, shape, form, and/or size, that there could be some sort of open world addition to the game? It wouldn't have to be seemingly endless in  other games like EVE, but at least something that players could go around and explore without any mission objective or purpose other than exploring a large map. The "map" could really just be a bunch of maps. For example, the mars tilesets can be put together and molded in a way that people can go out and explore it for resources, achievements, and lore items (like Kuria).

I know this would probably be a massive undertaking to add to the game, but I still think it's a good concept to consider for future updates.

  20. House Sherard is open for recruitment and always looking for more members.

Basic Info: We have a large dojo; complete with all labs & near 100% research; friendly community of members, Discord, a Steam page, requirements.

Dojo: As stated we have a large dojo but it is not complete. We do have access to all the labs, but not all of the research is done. Primarily things like Hema & Wukong, which require resources that are harder to obtain than others. We do have amenities such as an Obstacle Course & dueling rooms, as well as clan vault access and trading posts.

Community: We do not have a large community but our members are friendly & helpful. One should never have to worry about asking questions about the game (such as getting roasted by other members about it) or not be included in an event because of MR (which does not truly matter in the first place).

Discord & Steam: We have Discord, as I've said. Access is open to all members who can use Discord. It is not required, but it is recommended, for purposes such as raids and long resource farms. The link will not be in this post but will usually be in our MotD. If not, ask another member who has it, once you've joined. The Steam page is also open to all members. Simply go to Groups in your Steam Profile & look us up.

Requirements: We do not have requirements to join but there are standard requirements in the clan. Be respectful of other members & try to help where you can, especially with newer members/players if you are more veteran.

Joining: Please do not use this page to ask to join. Please contact some of the following in-game to join us: Zisruj, Gheauxst, WarrantedFive, C13229, Prexades, UltraxNova ,ToxAray, SirRagesAlot, GreenFlame873, or BigBoom550.

We appreciate your time & hope to see you in our clan soon.

  21. So I recently got a Wyrm sentinel and I hadn't used it much. The only thing I'd done is changed the colors. But I logged on today and I was going to level it up for MR when I saw a "W" by the "A,B,C" appearance selections. The "W" took me to some weird mini-game called "Wyrmius".

Is this a glitch for some to-be-released content that revealed it early, like with the Shaku, or has it always been there?
