Solution: Steam is overwriting the game. Fixed by going into steam > controller layout

Eager to play Duviri today, I hooked up my PS4 controller because I thought it would feel better that way. I changed the control layout, but even after restarting the game despite the menu saying I have the new controls, they still do the default things (left bumper crouches, right bumper ability wheel, etc).
