  1. I wish I could say that I had planned this a week in advance or whatever, but it was more of a flash of inspiration that hit me out of the blue.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the picture.

I plan on doing some green screen work to make the background a little prettier than it is right now. But first, I must do housework, for my not!SpaceMom.

  2. If it's still ok for me to join, I'd like to drop this here.

    Name: Kara Kel'naen

    Race: Grineer

Appearance:  Broken and tattered frontier lancer armour. Gathered from numerous sources.

Personality: Kara tends to be seen as clinically insane. Which she probably is. She also has the habit of wearing her heart on her sleeve.  Between her overuse of psychedelic substances and her fanaticism to the Twin Queens there is little to guess about her character.

    Biological Age: 23

    Actual Age: 4

Equipment: A stiff bow she made from the trees on Earth. Long kubrow tooth knife. A broken Grakata with no ammunition.Backstory:

    Backstory:

    Spoiler

Kara had just gotten out of her third "rehabilitation" when Hunhow attacked. She gazed up at the night skies of Mars as the lights flashed and her brethren were slaughtered. She shrugged as a Formorian was blown to smithereens and just took another shot from an inhaler filled with a hallucinogenic spray. Instead of joining the rest of the Grineer in fighting what she saw as a hopeless battle, she fled to the jungles of Earth and laid low. There she learned how to survive off the gifts of the land from some New Loka acolytes. They taught her a little of their shamanic ways before they were eradicated.
Kara left Earth sometimes, attempting to find some stronghold of Grineer superiority, but she always came back. It felt like home to her.

It was during one of her attempts at sending her soul across the system that a great avatar light came across her and invited her to join the resistance she had searched for.

Character Flaw: ...By plead of insanity: Kara often sees visions. whether they come from her heavy use of hallucinogens or her defective gene-code, no one knows. What is apparent, is they have an effect on her ability to make rational short term decisions.

Positive Attribute: Survivalist: Years on Earth have taught Kara plenty about living off the land. She knows twelve different ways to catch, kill and gut a kavat. And twice as many ways on how to cook them.

(Player's note: Kara is loyal to the Twin Queens. She just wasn't stupid enough to try and have a stand up fight against such a strong foe. However, the voices and visions in her mind have begun to eat away at her loyalty during her long term of solitude on Earth.)

    Sure thing-

From the tip of the grip's beaver-tail, to end of the barrel is 12 3/4 inches or 32.5 cm and from the top of the hammer to the bottom of the handguard is 6 1/4 inches or 16 cm. The grip is around 1 1/8 inches thick or 3 cm, the top black part is an inch or 2.5 cm thick. The silver base or inlay is a piece of wood around 3/4 inches or 2.75 cm. Finally, the white cylinder on the bottom is around 1 1/2 inches thick or 3.75 cm.

If you use those measurements to scale up a flat image of a lato to trace the design, you should come out with something similar.

    Best of luck to ya'!

Are you sure those dimensions are right? That seems a little big. Can I ask how you got the measurements so I can double check myself?

  4. Interesting theory. But I personally disagree with your warframe safety protocol.
At the end of the second dream when the warframe removes the blade, I think it was the operator sending out a panicked signal and interfacing without a proper somatic link, this is why the frame's movements are jittery (aside from it having a goddamn greatsword through its chest!). It's showing that the Tenno have a spiritual connection to the frames they've inhabited for so long.

Either way, I liked the video. I would love to see more, preferably with you talking over footage, but that's just me.
    Keep up the good work!

  5. What you guys had to do was go in a completely different colour for each frame.
Maybe go as primaries (Red Blue Green Yellow) or some other, wackier combination.
Regardless, cool screenshot, now go forth and exalted blade!

  6. I like this idea. I always found it kinda weird that the nikanas were always kept sheathed when in combat, do the Tenno not realise that the split second to draw the blade is a huge gap for an enemy to attack in? Sure it looks cool, but I would prefer a much more practical unsheathed stance when equipped.

  7. Ok, first off. This isn't drawing art. But more like a poem/short story. I'm not entirely sure if this is where fanfic goes, but I couldn't find anywhere better.
Without further ado, here's the story.

    ------------------------------------

He stands at the edge of a cliff, poised and profound.
Gazing out at the sea of orange and beige, He remembers.
A procession of warriors, clad in gold.
An enemy to fight, merciless and cold.

Skana in hand, he delivers the blows.
Death all around him, a crumbling empire.
A tormentor behind and the unknown ahead.

    Now bodies litter the system.
A thousand battles raging at once.
He's about to continue, but the voice tells Him to stop.
The sweet golden tones of the voice echo in his mind.
Turning, He braces Himself for what's to come.

A figure, clad in white, approaches and congratulates Him on the victory.
He clenches His grip on the skana, summoning power from the void.
His chest lights up as He plunges His glowing sword into the pure white cloth, staining it with crimson blood.

A battalion of soldiers turn their weapons on the solitary assassasin.
But they are no match for the wrath of a slave unleashed.

The voice commands Him to slay them all.
And He is all too eager to oblige.
    But the voice seems different.
Not sweet and gold. This voice is darker, but warm. Mother-like.
This voice leads him from planet to planet, slaying anything clad in gold. His old masters. His captors and slave drivers.
Then, she commands them to sleep.
A long and dark sleep, filled with the torment of his actions.

Finally He wakes. A flower now speaks to Him. Instructing Him how to redeem Himself and restore balance.
Balance. He forgot the word. It used to mean something good.
    Now He is unsure.

He pulls his blade out of the limp corpse of the Corpus executive. His special proxy lay in shatters next to him.
They died in the name of balance.
But that is not why He was here.
He unlocks the cell, and disables the white shackles of a fellow slave.
A hand extends, and she accepts. Her red flesh feels weak to His touch.
He hands her a weapon, but she declines.
She will rip them apart with her bare hands.

Together they return to the darkness of the stars.
Ready to restore balance to the system.

He hopes this dark voice is better than the bright one.
  8. So I recently managed to grab myself Mesa, and I love her so far. The only thing that I'm confused about is her first ability. The wiki says that I should be able to store a maximum of 400 points of damage at max rank (which I am now) but for some reason I can still only store 100. Is the wiki wrong? Did I miss a patch note? Is this a glitch?

Any and all help would be great, thanks!
