  1. Why are people complaining? We just made lore fighting in this battle. DE probably created multiple scenarios base on the results of this event. One possibility DE may put into effect is to make it so clans are fighting amongst themselves and allying with other clans.

  2. Just a suggestion for DE. Since it appears most of the future weapons will have higher damage or critical levels, it would be nice of DE to give one final buff to the lato and skana prime before the founder's program ended and the game has moved out of open beta. I would even apply idea to those who did close beta and received the lato and braton vandal.

  3. I opened a similar post but posted it in the wrong forum. Alot of these ideas were cut, pasted and edited from my original post.

Raiders (Space Pirates) - This class of enemies would be very realistic for the current universe considering most of the levels are on space ships. This faction is very crude and organized and is a constant threat to the interests of the Grineer and Corpus. They are able to amass large attacks on ships either to loot or overtake completely. This group could also be a rival for Tenno during the occasional raid missions, thus forcing players to rely on teamwork and speed rather than firepower to be first to the artifact. This group could have their own ships or be just like the Stalker and show up unpredictably.

Also, this would open up a new tile set for this faction or new mission types.

Orokin Cultist/Worshipers - This faction is made up of individuals that have survived the Void and returned to this dimension. They believe they are chosen few to create a pathway for the Orokin's return. Anything that is considered impure or is a taint to the Orokin, in this case the Tenno and Infested, must be eliminated with extreme prejudice. There are rumors that some within this faction have mastered Orokin technology to the point they are to be considered deadly. Unlike the corrupted the followers are fully aware of their actions and use the Orokin to advance their own superiority. What structures or machines they make will always show they are in control of the Orokin and not the over way around

Also, this opens up a new tile set for this faction. It could be a ship sanctuary or a makeshift replication of an Orokin void level.

Bounty Hunters - Bounty Hunters would be more or less boss characters withing the universe. They would operate in a small group or alone and only fight for themsleves and a price. They would operate much like the stalker, but unlike the stalker could set a trap or ambush in the least likely times.

For example you go on a mission for a rescue and fight and arrive at the cells. You fine the right cell only to have emerge a non faction speicific character that is 70 level and a dead or restrained hostage below them. Then that rescue mission suddenly becomes a very challendging boss fight. Another scenario, is you go on a raid mission and find the ship completely empty. You reach the objective only to find a group of characters that state you are worth alot of money dead and begin to stalk you throughout the ship. Suddenly, direct fighting may not be the best option and you or your group may have to be more tactical in your engagments. To sum up think of it as a warframe or frames hunting other warframes is the idea I am going for.

Scavengers – This faction is comprised of the remnants of space travelers forgotten by time. The idea of the individual is outweighted by the good of the many would guide this group. This faction would resort to anything to survive, but does not create anything new only recycles older technology for their own usage. This group would be of human origin, just like the tenno and grineer, corpus, and infested. Yet, since having been stranded in space for quite a long time would have mutated and evolved, possibliy from radiation for a space craft or from the evolutionary demands of their enviroment over the years. As you would predict this would change their appearence making this group appear similar to humans, but not quite as grotesque as the infested.

This faction opens the possibility for future tile sets for ruined cities/colonies or derelict ships.

  4. Glad those who responded liked some of the ideas especially with the raiders/space pirates. Have to clarify on some of the ideas concerning the other factions.

In regards to the cultist, they are a group that idolize Orokin technology and find a higher truth in its design. This idea is nothing new to history. I do like the idea PlatinumDragoonX inspired that they could manipulate or summon corrupted form the void. But, unlike the corrupted the followers are fully aware of their actions and use the Orokin to advance their own superiority. What structures or machines they make will always show they are in control of the Orokin and not the over way around.

The techno-tribals would operate more in tow with Lord of the Flies than the Wookies form Star Wars. The idea of the individual is outweighted by the good of the many is what would guide this group. This faction would resort to anything to survive, but does not create anything new only recycles older technology for their own usage. This group would be comprised of explorers, colonist, etc. and of human origin, just like the tenno and grineer, corpus, and infested. Yet, since having been stranded in space for quite a long time would have mutated and evolved, possibliy from radiation for a space craft or from the evolutionary demands of their enviroment over the years. This idea is feasible considering the size of the ship levels. It could open a tileset of a jungle enviroment within ships. Not being able to return to resupply for food or have enough power within the ship to filter the air to produce oxygen the crew members had to resort to cultivating plant life to maintain an enviroment for them to survive. This could even expand to planetside tile sets.

If you have any ideas, post them up for the DE to hear. This is your game as much as theirs.

  5. If you are not going to get the Latron Prime, just potato your current weapon and forma it in the future if you want to increase the mod levels. It is really all based on your play style. If you think your weapon is good for all situations, by all means go ahead and catalyze.

  6. You have to consider this also, this game did debut at this year's E3, was seen and received many good comments  from other game devs including Hideo Kojima, yes the very guy that brought us the Metal Gear series, and is going to be slated as starting F2P title for the PS4. I would say the stakes are pretty high for DE to retain player's long term interest in the game and make it noteworthy among, not just for F2P, games on the market. Since, fall is just around the corner I just recommend to be patient and comment things that you would like to see, what could or could not work or spot bugs within the game.

I know grinding sucks and the game play is repetitive at higher levels, but DE only has a small team working on the game. Because of this it takes a lot of time to do art concepts that follow the game style, write a back story to add depth to the game play, code, animate and draw, etc..My only advice is to just be patient for now.  If this does not improve, DE will have a lot more to worry about than bored pissed off players.

  7. I am having issues with mastery level 8 also. If I fall of the platform and return I cannot move and slid of the platform by force. Going to send a supprot ticket for this issue.

  8. I have both weapons and would have to argee with a lot of what scaleblue wrote. The Grakata is underpowered compared to the Braton Mk1. My Grakata is at a 30 level, carries some maxed out mods and potatoed to the point it dishes out decent damage I could trust in it now use in the void missions. My Braton Mk1 is only at a 21 level, carries low level similar mods to the Grakata and is potatoed. The only problem I witness between the two is the MK1 at its current state deals more damage than the Grakata. The easier solution would be to buff the base damage from 9 to the 12-14 range just below the Mk1, so not to sacrifice the fire rate of the Grakata. Thus the  Grakata is more of a sidegrade than an upgrade.
