    Currently there are 2 things I want to report. 


    1. The dual energy color and Rhino Vojnik.

    The Tennogen Skin for Rhino. The Vojnik, Isn't matching the helmet energy color. Specifically. The Primary Energy color is going on the helmet, and the Secondary Energy is what the skin is using. I assume this happened from the latest update 24.7.0 when the tweeks came out but wanted to post this.

    2. Rubedo Rhino Skin.

    With this skin we can't remove the Prime parts from it. It's a very great looking skin but it's tarnished by the prime parts. This has been like this since Rhino Prime came out. Hoping something can be done about this cause I would very much like to use this skin and not have the handles and extra shoulders jut out. Energy color also can't be changed.

    P.S I know it may not be a priority but Rhino's default helm and skin still look quite shiny and doesn't have the nice PBR like other frames just wanted to chime that in 🙂 Thank you!

    I just want melee to feel good and fun. It's great so far but with some charge attack tweaking and how channeling works we could be seeing a lot more melee being great.

  3. I miss when you could hold the button and it wouldn't make me do a swing and then start charging. It's just wonky and it sucks :( can we have the way it was before when charge attacks didn't have that attack before the charge? also bring back the old charge animations to it. these new ones aren't very "meaty" as some of the older ones (scindo charge attack anyone? :D MAGISTAR CHARGE ATTACK?! EH?! EH!?!?) alright that's my 2 cents again.

  4. Title says it all. It's weird. coloring my hair white makes the eyebrows and eyelashes also go white. Any color really. It's weird it looks. A new option would be great for people who like that sort of thing. I know it's not a HUGE thing but it's still quite odd that they decided that they would include eyebrows and lashes when for the most part eyelashes are usually black or don't get customized when this sort of thing is presented in other games. But hey my 2 cents I guess.

  5. When will we break the mold on weapon mod variety. I would love if weapons were more choice based than Highest DPS output. Not to say we can't take whatever weapon we want already but if we can bake mods like Serration into the weapon (Each level of a weapon increases it's base damage sort of thing) We can see a lot more mods introduced to add even more utility to existing weapons. We can still keep mods like Heavy Callibur and Spoiled strike as they have a negative to balance them out.

    This is a pretty touchy subject obviously but Not only does this help newbies but also increases the build variety as mentioned. Your call really. 

     

    Another question is will there be more weapons that use other weapons as a base. It's very fun to level a weapon then trade it in for another! It can benefit a lot of newer players if they can upgrade their old Mk1 weapons into something else.

     

    Catbrows! Will there be more variations to the catbrows like How Kubrows have their skinny, healthy, husky looks? I so want to see one look like a Battlecat from He-Man or Kilala from Inuyasha!

     

    2.0's have been fantastic so far and looking forward for more but will there be a more heavy focus on polishing and bug fixes? 

     

    On the subject of 2.0 Parkour has been fantastic but there are some issues like Camera controls for Bullet Jumping (if your on water and try to it gets very glitchy) Will their be more tweaks to it to add more parkour tricks as seen in the Sentients trailer where Excalibur does some gymnastics on a rail to a wall run. Fluidy is what I think is missing in an already fun and (sometimes) Responsive system.

     

    ARCHWING! So far It's boring. Sad to say it but theres no real variety other than Exterminate and Intercept. Uranus tile set just forces players to get into Archwing which is no bueno but I know it's necessary to get players into it for the new Golem boss. What I would love to see is if the combat was more inline with Zone of the Enders and Gundam. VERY fast paced on the edge of your seat action! The maps are incredibly large and it spreads enemies out making it to where they are in abundance for a short time and then stragglers here and there. 

     

    The corpus Archwing missions seems to be the right choice where it feels like a Star Fox mission. My opinion is that Archwing needs something like that! Engages you from beginning to end but not feel like a hide and seek match trying to find an enemy here and there slowing down the pacing. Intercept missions shouldn't be in space. Instead how about an escort mission in space or raiding a supply ship by using Archwing. Similar to Uranas tile sets. You transition from Archwing to ground combat.

  6. After a long hiatus I decided to check how Embers been doing since she's been under the radar for a lot of changes. 

     

    Wow...what is up with her World on Fire ability?....

     

    Costs energy, drains energy, has a timer.

     

    What the hell...

     

    Why not just drain energy but faster than the other frames compared to nyx's absorb?

     

    It's just ludicrous really. 

     

    Ember is a mage type frame we can all agree on. Glass cannon and blah blah blah. Not going to go into theory crafting with her. I play frames to enjoy them but with Ember building her with a lot of Energy is a blast! But with World on Fire it just doesn't seem like a good move to use at all compared to the others.

     

    Fireball is great now

    Accelerant is a nice stun

    Fire Blast has great utility for her to knockback enemies 

     

    All of them are great. World on Fire just needs more work. I love the pillar of fire but if it's only going to be there when I have energy...after I used my energy....and only for like a few seconds then it's not really going to cut it.

     

    And nobody give me that "Oh just don't use it" that's not the point. Point is to have a Warframe feel fun to play with all at their disposal. If I have to use the other 3 abilities more to have fun and not use her ultimate BLOW S#&$ UP it's kinda depressing. 

     

    Really the only problem is. It costs a lot of energy, drains energy during the entire thing, and it has a timer. 

     

    Either it costs energy and has a timer OR Drains energy. Not both.

  7. Planar Lock: OMG I forgot about this! YES it really annoys me that this is a problem! 

     

    UI: Yeah it needs to fit the Archwing motif better than just using a standard one. I like the 3D minimap. It would help A LOT in exterminate missions.

     

    Damage Falloff: I noticed this recently it doesn't make sense at all and it just makes it so you have to go melee in times of desperation.
     

    Melee combat feels REALLY clunky and you zoom to enemies too fast and hit walls sometimes which causes EXCESSIVE Bouncing.

  8. I LOVE Archwing!! and the Event for the fomorians is super great! Especially if you get some epic Pump up music or impending doom type music playing to get you going!

     

    The problem is that the controls are very clunky and the level design (Save for the fomorian event one) are very open ended specifically for exterminate.

     

    Archwing should feel linear than the missions were used to.

    Free Roam missions are exempt from this. What I'm specifically talking about is exterminate missions. They're linear enough but can't help but feel the never ending vents hurt it. Especially if you go in a wrong one and get a dead end.

     

    If Archwing had a little more linear level design that made sense and had a better flow to tell you where your going then it will allow for faster pace missions and cooler experiences when playing.

     

    However should you NOT go this route of linearity you can make it so exploring missions is a plus and can find floating containers that can contain a mod or a large amount of resources since these levels are very large. 

     

    This applies only to exterminate missions and there aren't really a whole lot of them but it would make the experience so much more exciting than what it currently is.

     

    Another issue is controls. 

    As of now they're the same for everything.

    I urge you to change it so it has it's own separate controls!

    It be great to have barrel rolling and u-turns added as well for better maneuverability.

     

    I use a controller but this still can translate well to keyboard too...maybe...

    This is pretty standard flight controls but are perfect for Archwing missions. Having regular controls mixed in with Archwing controls hurts the overall experience. I remember during the archwing update DE changed the control scheme so it messed up keybindings and controller bindings too. The controls for Ground missions are spot on before this and I still use them. Archwing needs a separate control keybinding option for more added customization and easier transitions.

     

    Another thing is the way we bounce when we hit things. Tone that down a bit is all I ask since it's very silly. Maybe an april fools thing, Nightmare alert effect, or an April Fools thing but it just makes it feel like your Warframe is a rubber ball bouncing everywhere. Have it like a huge impact and make us actually say "Ouch...probably should be a little more careful."

     

    Other than that those are ideas to help Archwing feel a little more complete.

    There are only three problems I have with it: The planar lock, the UI and the damage falloff.

     

    Planar Lock - We are in a zero-G environment. There is no reference plane, so why are our controls locked as if there is? Make the locking optional.

     

    UI - The UI is the standard UI but with some worthless static flightsim-esque stuff tossed in around the crosshairs. It gives very little information and the minimap is worthless. We need a 3D compass to show what direction enemies and objectives are in. This is basic zero-G UI stuff.

     

    Damage Falloff - Why do guns have falloff in a vacuum? We are working with massive distances and speeds, and yet guns become worthless at any distance.

     

    Oh yeah, and a fourth thing, the melee combat. Who thought that 3D Sonic actually had good combat that was worth cloning? It is the least engaging combat system I have ever experienced. You are making very different melee weapons, but your combat system doesn't allow for them to act any different.

    I hope they keep those for extreme end-game later on the line, for now let's just have very rare and epic? :D

     

    As for OP:

    Keep in mind that currently there aren't a lot of places to drop them from, what needs to be expanded is per planet specifics:

    Eris should have some unique rewards so you want to play it over something like DS Sechura

    Oh no I don't mean Add more I mean rework existing mods visuals to reflect the idea of

     

    Common, Uncommon, Superior, Excellent, Rare, and Legendary (because I forgot they did add that for a limited time)

    Like Eleventh Storm for example. Instead of being a Uncommon mod it would fall under Excellent (blue quality) or Rare (Gold quality)

     

    I mean a VISUAL REWORK not an actual reworking of mod rarity loot tables.

     

    The percentages stay the same. It's just the mods that change the appearance to reflect their TRUE rarity like how most RPG/MMO's do it 

  10. I'm all for it! Would love to see the visuals match the new UI hotness! But the one thing that does beg the question is...

    Will you broaden the spectrum of mods rarity visually?

     

    In short all of the mods are classified in 4 ways:
    Damaged(Introduced in patch 14 for beginners which is just wonderful! Now my friends can know what to look out for to replace them! Plus they're easy to replace too!)
    Common

    Uncommon

    Rare

    and the very rare and not used for anything other than those fusion cores

    Legendary!

     

    It's nice but I would like to see it be broader like how most RPG/MMO's do it.

     

    grey, white, green, blue, purple, orange.

     

    Or in Warframes case it could be:

     

    Damaged, Common, Uncommon, (Superior)? , (Excellent)/Rare?, Legendary

     

    It would help distinguish what really is "Rare" in this game. 

     

    I've seen so many uncommon mods drop that they should be classified common and so many common mods that should be rare or uncommon.

     

    Not only would this be a nice little change (seeing as the drop tables wouldn't change just the overall mods rarity and look will to reflect on the drop chances it already has) but it would add more "OH YEAH!" moments of getting a purple or gold mod knowing that there pretty darn rare, and blue mods would be just as good. 

     

    What are your opinions on this? While this is just a minor thing. It was something me and a friend were discussing when farming mods like Eleventh Storm and Malicious Raptor.

  11. Weapon(s) used: Swords, Axes, Katana, Dual Weapons, etc.

    Faction(s) fought: Grineer, Corpus, Infested

    Mod(s) equipped/Stance used: Cleavling Whirlwind, Desicive Judgment, Iron Phoenix, etc.

    Thoughts & Experiences: It feels great very fun. Love the animations the combos are very nice to have different ways to kill things and do some very nice combos and get a damage multiplier for it. There is one thing though and I will mention it more below.

    Approximate Time Spent: when it came out till now (as of 5/29/2014)

    Supplementary Info: Useing Xbox gamepad and Keyboard mix. Solo and Duo content with friend.

     

     

    Overall I like it. What I don't like is the Street Fighter input style so to speak. E E E DOWN+E E E.....E E E AIM BUTTON+E E E. Or for a Controller RB RB RB Down+RB which makes me face away from the target I'm trying to kill because lock on camera for melee and melee to camera are very clunky on a gamepad so I just take that off. 

    With out the camera lock-ons melee feels VERY good. But the comboing with DOWN UP and AIM don't go well together. Why not use the Reload Button? R key on keyboard and B button for Xbox gamepad and Circle for Playstation controllers. Reason why this helps is that when you don't have melee camera lock those combos are very hard to pull off and when you do pull them off you have to make your character move away (glaive, axes, katana stance does this a lot with there combos) and your not hitting anything and the animation is very awkard twirling around really fast.

     

    Having an extra button for melee would be an excellent idea for replace Down+E inputs so it looks cleaner

     

    E E E R E E looks better and is easier to initiat than E E E Down+E E E same goes for gamepad.

     

    Adding B/R/Circle as an extra melee swing would be nice but realistically that would mean adding in a "light/fast swing" or something a long the lines of that causing some major overhauling (again) so really the only thing I'm saying is have it so R key/B button/ Circle Button replace those weird input commands. :D 

  12. So when I first built my machine the first thing I did was play a ton of Warframe. PhysX for the first time was glorious! but after awhile I noticed its now just small amounts or just completely gone when playing. Is this on my end or did patches through out the months just slowly make it less and less?

With the Dev Stream #27 while there showing the concept art for the new ice planet corpus crash site and etc. etc. I feel like if they really worked on a story full of lore it could have been a wonderful single player experience. Something close to a Metroid Prime 3rd Person with Devil May Cry comboing with melee...

     

    BUT I do love the community we have right now. Clans, Dojo's, Team based gameplay, and oh FREE. But when you really look back and see all the new things comming in you can't help but wonder...what if..

     

    I just want a Story Mode to keep me preoccupied because you can only farm so much. I would love a story mode and yes they said there working on it (Around the Block, Down the Soon, Corner...yada yada I get it yeah there busy well duh)

     

  14. You do realize the lvl they spawn is based of the highest lvl weapon you have? I either take all maxed or all weak weps.

    Or...you can take 2 weapons since it goes by ALL weapons I.E. if you only have 2 maxed weapons and a slot that has no weapons they scale DOWN since you only have 2. makes fights like G3 and Stalker a joke...(My first time fighting G3 I had a lvl 25 Nikana and a lvl 19 Boltor Prime and decimated those fools and got the Brakk blueprint :D and Split Chamber!)

     

    oh and the whole cover thing is BS Stalker usually just oneshots you before you can even go to it anyway. When he spawns just shoot him. Best thing you could do cause your dead anyway.

  15. Ugh even just 100 plat can help me get stuff (Tbh I would like a lot but I'd have to do credit farming because those taxes kill me) I do agree the Fan section I never visit I always go to GD. Like most have said talk with DERebecca or DEMegan.

    While it does make sense for Fan contests to go to the Fan section theres really not a lot of traffic there as mentioned. Best scenario could be you do a contest there, someone wins, makes a forum post on how awesome the community is in GD and about the contests happening in Fan Section and hopefully hordes of people flock there making it very active.

     

    But that's wishful thinking. Can you make announcments directing from GD to Fan Zone contests? does that go with forum rules?

  16. Don't worry, it still takes about 9 days to make the frame with resources. not to mention you saved yourself from the -xxx/xxx bug some of us got with the lowering of the required materials. (still waiting for a fix *wink*)

    hmmm I do like the sound of that. Spend 275 to bypass an emotional rollercoaster ride. yes I like that indeed. BUT She is starting to be my favorite frame now second to Valkyr  (which I also bought out of sheer "ain't got time fo dat" attitude) and I don't regret the purchases one bit :D just wish they would have been more specific on the resource scaling since they only said it was for moon clan and not for the rest.

    But anyway I'm having fun.

    So all clans research costs for Zephyr were reduced!

    But...I...I Just....so I spent 275 plat then :\ (as the proud owner of a solo clan this news is great but also hurt as I spent the last of my plat to buy her to not farm over 1K or so Oxi....now I only need to farm 300 or so which is incredibly reasonable...damn)

    Oh well Having fun with Zephyr. The whole update gave a nice facelift to Warframe in general.

    I'm loving every bit of it!

  18. Well a livestream is coming up this friday and they usually put an alert up for either a Catalyst, Reactor, or Forma. Try and wait till tomorrow. Or still go at it with login rewards but it is rare and RNG may not be so kind sometimes. I personally with 700h+ only got 1 catalyst blueprint from logging in.

     

    As AXcrusnik said trading is a viable way of getting the plat needed. Farm appolodorus survival on mercury and kill all the butchers for some Flow mods and sell them pretty cheap at like 5 plat and you'll get a Catalyst like that.

     

    I am not sure if PS4 version gets potato alerts same as the PC after a livestream though but best bet without spending money is Login rewards, random alerts, or farm some mods to sell.
