[How should we change Atlas?]

Interesting topic. As one of the few persons who plays atlas a lot I got something to say. I agree with the synergy you suggested! Very nice changes. However his first ability perfectly fine furthermore at the moment. I kill up to 145 in a matter of seconds with that ability. 

For his second ability I agree on the more walls thing. 

The armor stripping and adding for his third is nice option. However the numbers you proposed need to be looked at. The quicker stoning is a hard needed change indeed. Because I never use that ability because it takes way too long.

His fourth ability is fine. However the augment is broken. The idea of the augment is fine, but the agro drawing is totally broken and doesn't work. I would like to see some kind of shield of shadows form of augment there because then Atlas can tank (which he is meant to do) a lot more and in combination with the ack and blunt augment he can be great support to his team.

Well in one of the devstreams (can't Rembert which one) they mentioned something about taking another look at how arcades work currently.

We all know the old arcanes, the helmets. They gave buffs en nerfs. 

Since it looks like it has something to do with some sort of energy or something im guessing it has to do something with arcanes.
