1. Well by that logic let's put the strun wraith and S#&$ in the store.

If you were there for it you got rewarded, end of story. But fine, people who ask DE for S#&$ will always win.

Someone is quite butthurt, u don't want other people to get the mod you have? Tell me ONE good reason and don't even start on "bla bla we were doing the event" yeah you were and yeah I was as well and I have some of the mods, a lot of ppl might not have had the time to do it tho and you seriously want to stop them from getting the mod? Even if it was a random drop, if yes please just go play a single player game, there u can be happy about your stuff an drops that all the NPCs will never have so you can fee special therel. If you are that kind of person I am sorry for you....that is just sad.

Just to let you know, I would not care if the would put the strun wraith or snipertron vandal in there somewhere (DROPS THO, not store and Idk why you always assume OP wanted it to be in the store because I am quite sure he was speaking of it as a drop, at least that is what I assume). They could make the parts for the snipertron vandal drop somewhere and just give the event-participants the special skin. Same for the strun wraith it would not bother me because I seriously don't want ppl to have a disadvantage because they didn't play the game at that specific time.

I am fine with something like a special skin for weapons or getting them 4 weeks pre-release or a special "scarf" or whatever tho. It would give ppl something to "show off" they were playing the event and not put any disadvantages to new players.

  2. Supposedly there is some good things about Loki's switch teleport - but there are some bad things and its starting to feel like they are outshining the good. For example - today I was left alone by two players in the Despina alert. These guys just ran off, didn't kill not one monster and got so far ahead of me that I didn't even see them on the mini-map. Eventually they got to the goal and started back tracking. So I just wanted to get to the extraction point at this juncture. SO I was running along and I got on an elevator, monsters all over the place - and suddenly I'm out of the elevator and this Loki player types "You can't go nowhere without us!" Evidently they (both of the players were together in this) thought they could just run off and leave ME but I had to wait for THEM??? What kind of twisted, selfish thinking is that??? But the thing is, why do we have to have another player with the power to do that? I'd like to be in control of my own character! I had to abort mission and start over because of these clownish, childish antics.

I suggest Loki's switch teleport either only work on enemies, or it can work on people who need to be revived. It shouldn't be working on anyone they choose. I'm at the point where I am refusing to play with a Loki in the group, because they are abusing the power and it's totally frustrating. Perhaps Loki should only be able to do that when he / she is the host? Or maybe if you get switch teleported you can cancel it in a short amount of time? Something needs to be done! Next thing is I'm going to start reporting players who abuse it. I'm completely over the top with this.

Move out of mercury and you won't find a trolling loki anymore because by then the trolls abandoned the frame because they can't handle it. And good players will provide a lot of utility to you and get you to places where u wouldn't get otherwise, keep the switching with players...

  3. congratz? u must be one of those many players whom have ran thousands of Void t1/2/3 before the huge credit nerf.

I was talking about getting credits after u10, I never had any problems despite the new clan weapon and senti or transmutation.

If u can't get enough credits, well then you are doing something wrong or you want to buy too many things at once.

Besides, I don't know what could consume more money than clan dojo blueprints + building, transmutating + fusion. Because I am doing everything from that little list atm and still don't have trouble with money.

It might take more than one t3 ext run for your 120k credits now but that's fine by me. Now you would have to go there 2-3 times to get the money OH NOES we can't have that can we?

  4. First they should start making survival enjoyable again by stopping this "hunt for drop pods" and make it 100 - 4 again where a horde of enemys actually drops enough to sustain you through the battle. Not saying make pods useless, just spawn more enemys on smaller maps and make it all about fighting again. but that is just my personal opinion.

  5. I don't have any credit problems tbh, even tho I am building stuff from the clan dojo and getting the bp's. Sure I have to farm more to make the same amount of credits I had before the nerf but it is nothing that would make it hard as hell to get credits. But that is just how I feel.

  6. It's stupid to not be able to equip your maxed mod because your Sentinel is using the same maxed mod. Why is it like this? What makes max Serration on my Supra different from max Serration on my Sentinel?

I no longer use my Deth Cube, just the Carrier now, but I don't even have a weapon on it since I'm just using it solely to help me collect resources.

I don't know why you guys have it set up like this, everytime I wanted to put on a mod, it would end up telling I can't use it cause my Sentinel has it, so then I would have to unequip the specified mod from my Sentinel just so that I could actually use it for my weapon.

I don't have duplicates of Serration or Armor Piercing or whatever, so it's not like I can just equip an unranked one on my Sentinel just like that.

There was no intend of you beeing able to equip them on both (weapon and sentinel) if u want them on both, simply get a second mod and lvl it.

  7. Is it just me or does this post feel like... it needs a much better title which actually has more than barebones correlation with the content of the post.

Sorry about that, I am not the most creative person and though maybe some people would get interested enough to read the first few things I wanted to say as it is very hard to get the attention of the forum readers, if there is nothing seriously controversial in the topic, or anything that upsets people enough.

  8. hunting oxygen tanks and NOT like survival at all.

It just feels like run there to activate that pod then run there to activate the next oh an enemy, gtFo of my way I want the next one, and I am seriously disappointed because I wanted a mission where I can slaughter a ton of enemys and look for the rare drops that would make me able to kill just enough to get my other team the time it needed shortly before making it out. But, it often feels like there are NO mob at all for several minutes on the whole map im beeing put into. Especially with the derelic and tower survival missions those thoughts came to my mind.

I am not sure if the maps are just too big but I have had only 1 mission where I felt like I actually triggered an alarm (I played loki at that time and I don't know why, maybe it was the planet but there were a ton of enemys that I could kill with invis and get myself enough space to grab the drop pod.THAT time I felt like playing actual "survival"). Unfortunatly I can't for the love of god remember where I was playing back then otherwise I would go there.

DE could make the pods less important, maybe only allow one of them to drop per 10 min and only if u are below 20%, but it would give u back like 50% (so if u are fine without it, lotus won't call one in. That wouldn't allow players to stack them like it did back in the event). Same for the smaller oxygen packs, make them vanish after 15 - 30 sec or so, spawn a lot more enemys and make them drop the stuff more often but punish ppl for not picking it up.

Hope I am not the only one who feels that way. Feel free to let me know if you guys think the mission type is just fine the way it is and if so, please let me know where you play survival.

  9. If I am using loki I don't even use a sentinel anymore because of that exact reason, I rather give up the helper and the refilling shields because im invisible 24/7 anyways. But yeah, I think it would improve loki gameplay for players who don't want to go the road of "I am gonna invisi-moonwalk the whole mission anyways", tho I can't imagine why you would not want to do that because that is why I personaly love the frame.

  10. Ok so a lot of ppl are whining about new weapons beeing too strong compared to the old ones. I want to ask you something. Do you want the gun that requires 2 forma 15k salvage and frikkin 6 days (mutagen sample production + research) to be just as good as the braton u can buy for 10k credits? If the answer is yes, pls stop reading right here.
Most of the people are complaining because a they can't handle other players having stronger weapons than they have not even if they worked for it and are higher lvl than them.

If the weapon requires a lot of materials and a lot of time and / or work to be acquired like certain prime weapons or the clan stuff then it SHOULD be better than other weapons that u can aquire without big effort . If every single weapon would be viable (and none of them would be an upgrade compared to each other) then there would be a severe lack of progression in the game. Why even bother going into the dojo and research everything when my bought weapons or the ones I get rly easy are just as good?

Maybe they could add certain "traits" for weapons to stop making weaker tiers redundant for players who have max tier weapons. Or add something like "Upgrade 1,2,3" for low mastery rank weapons, so if u lvl them up enough and get enough exp with them I am not speaking of rank 30 only but certain requirements like 5.000 kills, X headshots or time played etc.

Once those requirements are met they could allow a certain "upgrade" for that weapon, maybe even letting the player decide the path of the upgrade if they would rather go dmg, accuracy, clip etc. <-This idea was taken from another thread about weapon upgrades. However I can't find it anymore so I can not link it here. (If I see the thread again I will put in the link here).

Balancing weapons could be done with the mastery rank, as they said in the livestream (soma is obviously too strong for mastery 3, so make it require rank 8-10) or they could increase the materials the weapons need, don't put something like the soma in the marketplace. Tho I'm well aware that weapons like this boost DE's income because impatient people will buy them for plat and I can see this beeing a good reason to put them there they need to get money from somewhere after all so they can keep developing.

I am not trying to say that every update released should contain weapons that are outclassing every other piece of gear out there that existed before that update. But I am trying to say without stronger weapons there is no goal for people to work with. DE could re-visit every weapon and give a "point rating" for things like dmg, crit, dps, etc. and start placing the weapons in some sort of "table". That way they could set a max ammount of points and keep weapons balanced.
I don't know if any of those systems would work but they might be worth looking at. Also I am not 100% sure if i should post this on the gameplay feedback or weapon feedback, if someone thinks it is the wrong forum I would appreciate if the thread could be moved.

  11. I totaly agree with the OP, every weapon needs to be analyzed and it needs to be clear what the advantage of that weapon is over other weapons (but keep the comparing within certain parameters, i.e. compare the dps output or how much dmg can be dealt with certain ammo) and give every weapon a mastery rank. It would save a lot of trouble with nerfing everything so "each and every weapon is viable somehow". And it would give players who invested time and resources into weapons a sence of progression.

  12. The stalker does not only need an overhaul when it comes to him "beeing scary" but also needs a huge boost in dmg or something to make him stronger, he is a bad joke when he spawns in a MP match. And even solo he just gets obliterated in 10 sec with most of the weapons.

Here is something I just thought of: How about a mechanic for him? He can only be damaged while he is visible and he has a certain window where he goes visible to fire with his weapons. For the rest of the time he is invisible (and either can't be damaged at all or has like 80% resistances at max lvl to everything and immunity to cc) furthermore while he is invisible he only uses his meele attack, he gets visible for a short period of time, maybe 1-2 sec once he tries to hit the player he is targeting and this pattern could repeat a few times.Alternatively the invisibility could break close to the time when the meele actually hits. It would make the Stalker more challenging and get rid of the feel "Meh third taunt, come here and die so I can continue the mission".

Those mechanics could be used after he reaces a certain lvl or just make the dmg reduction or time before his strike hits scale with his lvl so low lvl players won't get crushed by him. Another option would be, to only make him this strong during certain missions (void, derelic, or nightmare).

Obviously they are just something that came to my mind when thinking about the stalker, I am sure a lot of ppl could think of more ways to make him stronger and intimidating. I'd like to hear what u guys think, if this is a bit over the top or w/e u would do to make him more fun.

  13. Well, changes like this I wish they would include with some kind of disclaimer like "New Stamina Changes *Note* Still undergoing iteration, tell us how this feels for you; it's a preliminary version" or the like so we know that 'hey, this isn't the final version because we know this is a touchy subject and we want to make a good change' and not 'this is how we want things'.

Since the changes are provided as-is, with the only indication of non-finality being the largely moot "Open Beta" tag on the game, people are inclined to start acting like the sky is falling because as far as we know this is now what he have to deal with going forward.

I'd appreciate more threads or communication started by the devs themselves when concerning core gameplay changes like stamina and armor for instance, so we can have an official outlet for input and feedback BEFORE changes go live. Would really lessen the fallout after changes are arbitrarily made and then the forums go wild with rage. Also I feel like that form of feedback should be easier on the devs since it would feel like a cooperative effort between community and devs, and not the devs going 'hey we are going with this idea because we like it' and then after the fact we all go 'noooo no no no no' so then the devs get butthurt and either 'fold' and change it, which I'm sure they don't like, or they don't change it and we(community) are all butthurt. First method has much less butthurt.

Something like "Pre patchnotes" would be cool that way we could actually speak about it before it happens and take actions and influence the way it goes before the stuff happens.

  14. The only thing u did is saying your personal opinion on certain topics. Nothing wrong with that it´s perfectly fine, however I feel without any arguments....those points are not valid a lot of ppl made threads about those topics (for example removing stamina alltogether) and made good solid points with arguements so why do you feel like they don't need to do that just because u say so?

  15. Great summarize and a lot of very good potential solutions. I can see a problem with the
"faster recharge while in Melee Combat (sustained Melee) including Stamina boosts when enemy is slain." I don't know how we would determine "sustained meele" since there would have to be a timer where u can actually swich targets without missing swings but not long enough so the stamina would regnerate to quick. Other than that I think it would be an awesome overhaul and a very good system that would take on a lot of the flaws.

Furthermore I also like the explanations u give to each point u make. I still wonder about a few things tho, how would "bonus regen rate in meele" work? Just a flat % regen increase of what u would have otherwise or a fixxed amount of stamina regen? For example if u are very low on stamina and still decide to meele would that increase your stamina regen by x points per second or by x % per second? This system actually offers a wide variety of balance chances (if something is too strong / weak it could be tweaked without touching other parts or beeing re balanced in their parts). I hope DE will take those ideas into consideration.

  16. That's fine Lordmotav, but what do you do when you don't have all 3 other players as rushers? Or do you make a point of only playing with rushers? There is nothing wrong with either gamestyle or playing it multiplayer or solo, but at least recongnize that other ways to play this game may be fun for different people. Otherwise your comment comes off as snide and dismissive.

It's always the problem with 3 ppl are doing A 1 person is doing B so B is always the "bad guy" when they are actually both 100% fine but just don't fit together. But it's also hard to get all 4 happy without messing up something.

Edit: Thx anyways for the interest in the thread I just hope ppl will see that this system doesn't help with rushers or slow groups it just makes all of them take a lot longer to get their missions done no matter if they are rushing or exploring / farming.

Edit2: Btw Lordmotav I think u assume I would play online if I plan on playing slow as well. No I always try to keep the irritations for other ppl as low as possible, for example when I'm farming for nav coords I will always play solo because I know I will open every single last crate on the map and ppl might get annoyed by that. So it's not that I am saying "only rushers should play solo" I try to say everyone who is exeptionally fast OR slow could consider starting a private match because of that reason.

  17. There is 2 ways to keep you from dying. And you chose the one that prevent you from being a good squadmate, good DD, good tank and cut your performance in half.

U think im a bad squadmate because I run 1230 shields and a lot of hp? Then u don't know S#&$ about modding im sorry. I still do most of the work in def missions or the tanking in bossfights that actually need it. And btw stamina mods would help me be a better squadmate....ok whatever you say.

  18. So you are saying rushing missions is ok because a bossfight is hard on your own? Yeah that might be true for that one hard bossfight (or for any hard bossfights) then but not for other missions. If u want to get through an alert quickly or through a mission u need in order to unlock something then do it solo, that was what I was trying to say. If there is a need for more than one player if u want to rush it, then play it in MP but if there isn't stop rushing MP because there might actually be ppl playing this mission for the first time or maybe they want to get drops from containers like nav coords or ferrite on low lvls or anything like that.

  19. Ow yeah? You are the type of guy who will add shields even on Rhino?

Yes I am the kind of guy who plays rhino on 1230 shields + 700 hp, because I want to play like that, otherwise why would u even bother? We could just give every frame 450/450 shield hp + 200 energy and shred all the mods alltogether if we are supposed to get to the average anyways. Oh your frame is slow and tanky? Mod him so he gets as fast as an unmodded squishy frame. Your frame is squishy? Mod him so he gets the shield and hp a unmodded rhino has. YAY!
