  1. Hey,

So I started working on my Kurias today, and I have EVERYTHING figured out one way or another- EXCEPT Kuria 9-2. I looked at a few Youtube and steam guides, but they all lead to a room that's a dead-end (but no longer one as of now). The only 2017 post I found was on reddit, but the author was more so asking a question than showcasing the location (couldn't get any useful information from his post). I asked around on the WFRSB and someone said they moved the Kuria's location in one of the more recent hotfixes. If this is true, has anyone managed to locate it yet?

    Any help is appreciated!

  2. Hey everyone,

I made a post in the past explaining the mechanics of Affinity as well as a efficient way to run Draco.

Now, as of update 18.13, many frames were reworked, and though characters like Trinity, Mirage, and Volt were "nerfed" (in my opinion), some other frames were changed in a way that opened up new possibilities. (In this case, a new way to run Draco)

The topic here is primarily going to be about Mag. Now that her 2 (Magnetize), 3 (Polarize), and 4 (Crush) were "fixed", she can do damage to not only Corpus but also Grineer (I haven't tested this with Infested units yet).

In my previous post, I stated a method which involved using RJ Excal, EV Trinity, and any buffer which includes Rhino, Frost, Mirage, or Oberon. After trying out Mag for focus farming, I realized I could obtain 30% if not 50% more focus/affinity rather than using RJ Excal (I could do much more damage using Mag than Excalibur).

Here is how you do it:

With the rework, Mag's abilities now sort of melt together. Her 1 brings enemies closer to you, her 2 (which is really irrelevant in this case) provides some CC or shielding, her 3 de-buffs armor & deals damage directly to health, and her 4 still smacks units to the ground, BUT NOW, if the enemy is Magnetized, the fourth ability will deal bonus damage.

To maximize the power and effectiveness of these abilities, I would cast Polarize (3), use Pull (1) once or twice to bring enemies closer to the bubble made by polarize, and finally use Crush (4) to finish off any survivors. My current build for this method is --->

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/hkulfqf8okos63u/20160530195111_1.jpg?dl=0

I tried to balance Duration and Strength so Mag could not only do more damage but also have a longer reach on her Polarize and also I tried to sustain a decent range for her Pull and Crush (efficiency had to become negative in order for these factors to work out so EV Trinity is defiantly a necessity).

So now when you apply this to the older method of Draco, you would swap RJ with Mag to form a squad of Mag, Trinity, and a buffer.

I hope this helped you out and maybe even convinced you to invest your time into Mag.

Thanks and have a nice day!

From personal experience, any explosive weapon coupled with her can spread Spores like crazy. Thanks to my efficiency build and Zenurik focus, I often just use Molt-bombing to spread them though.

That would be the Concealed Explosives Mod.  Be warned, it can kill you too.

    Ah thanks for the information!

  4. Hey guys, I've noticed quite a few people using Hikou Prime as a secondary for Saryn and from what I've seen, it is quite OP. Do any of you know how to build it (mod-wise)?

(On hit, I noticed explosions and some people told me it can help spread the toxin from spores)

  5. Aww...

From what I've heard the accessories are a syandana and sugatra...

Not too much of a fan for the weapons being released but Booben is on point ?

This is a bit off topic but anyone know what prime is after vauban?? Just curious :P

Hope volt and mag rework comes out around the release of VBN prime access too!

    Pretty hyped! ???

  6. DRACO

Yes yes, I know many of you may disagree with the existence of Ceres Draco or simply dislike it, but in my opinion it is still the easiest way to obtain Affinity. This post is a guide to show you how to run this mission most effectively.

    |--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Speaking of Affinity, let me first explain how it works:

    The Obvious-

Affinity (more easily identified as EXP) is what you obtain by killing enemies, completing objectives, or hacking consoles etc. (It is used to increase the levels on your gear)

    What you want to know-

Affinity is channeled into your gear in this format:

    Warframe: 25% of Affinity gained

    Primary: 25% of Affinity gained

    Secondary: 25% of Affinity gained

    Melee: 25% of Affinity gained

How to make the most of this-

Knowing that all Affinity is distributed equally throughout your gear, you can equip limited amounts of items to maximize it forspecific items:

    Example-

    Warframe: 25%

    Primary: 75%

What I did above was simply taking out the secondary and melee and BAM, you instantly get more affinity for the primary weapon. (You can do this with secondary or melee as well.)

    Important Note:

You may be hyped right now knowing that you can level up weapons much faster by only equipping one item, but wait, there's a catch. You can only gain affinity for your weapons (no, Saryn doesn't count as a weapon in this case) if you use either a Primary, Secondary, or Melee to get the kills. If you decide to bring a cc frame like ember and demolish everything with her 4, no affinity will be sent to your other weapons.

    What do I do now?

The best way to counter this downside is to bring one weapon that can actually kill enemies and another weapon solely for leveling purposes. (Unequip your sentinel or kubrow as well) In the end, what your loadout might look like is this:

Warframe (preferably a tanky frame like Inaros or Rhino for survivability): 25% affinity

Primary (your killing machine): 37.5% Affinity

    *Skips Secondary

Melee (the thing you need to level up): 37.5% Affinity

--> (If you stay within 50 meters of your allies, any affinity they get from kills will go to you as well.)

    |--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

    Taking it up a notch

All the information I posted above is for aggressively upgrading a specific weapon and also for when you run Ceres Draco with a random squad. If you want to take this to the next step, follow the information below~

    MLG Team Draco

If you are running Draco with a squad of friends or people you know/you can talk to, consider doing the mission this way:

    • At the begining of each wave, capture 3-4 towers to get a boost. After you see your interception percentage higher than the enemies, ignore 2 out of the 4 towers so it takes longer to complete and more enemies can spawn. I prefer to sustain only tower D and C because they are more centralized and any enemies killed are almost guaranteed to be within 50 meters.
    • As soon as you exit the elevator, you should notice two black(ish) boxes immediately to your right. Those boxes are your camping spot as the waves progress.

RJ Excal- Your Radial Javelin is the group's primary damage dealer. After you help capture a point, rush back to the black boxes and spam 3.

Frost- Your sole purpose is to protect your team from damage. After you help capture a point, rush back to the black boxes and keep your snow globe up.

EV Trinity- Your purpose, well, is to EV. After you capture a point, head back to the black boxes you found to the right of the elevator, stand on them, and spam 2.

I hope this guide helped you maximize your Draco experience as well as explained some of the mechanics relating to affinity.

    Have a nice day!

The 300% boost from Crimson Dervish is only when the weapon is unsheathed, since quick attacks with single swords don't use the stance's basic combo. It's also worth noting that Crimson Dervish slows the weapons attack speed when unsheathed as well, but I'm not sure how proportionate that is to the damage bonus.

So, it becomes a matter of preference and playstyle. When unsheathed, the Dakra Prime probably outperforms the Dragon Nikana, but the Dragon Nikana is generally better for quick attacks.

Also, Broken War destroys both, afaik.

Oh okay, thanks for the tip!

  8. I've been curious, is the Dakra Prime better than the Dragon N? I have the Crimson Dervish so does the 300% dmg boost make DP better? Also, how does Nikana Prime fit into this???

Thanks and have a nice day!
