  1. This new drop system sucks.

Had to relink twice to finally get it going which, ok, fine. One time problem.

However, if the drop ends at 12:00 PM PST, like today... even if you reached 100% before then, you if try to claim at 12:01 PM, you can't claim it.

How about opening up the drop windows a bit, share the love to people that can't have their faces glued to twitch and only twitch for some arbitrary, different hour each day? Gods forbid someone be finishing up a phone call or even finishing up an actual warframe mission and misses a 2 minute window to click the claim button.

    Currently within 24 hours.

Mine gives an error if I click it even a minute after the stream end.

  2. The optimal way to use the railjack is to... well, not really use it.

The optimal method is to use it as a troop carrier. Park it far away, while it sends the archwings in to do the real battling. Or if you *really* want to do ship to ship, steel a grineer crewship since it's immune to fighter weapons fire, missiles, mines, and so on.

I'm having fun with the update, but I do really wish I could actually use railjacks for fighting, instead of a liset with a longer transit time to the combat zone.

  3. Honestly, it sounds like you're trying to apply only one entity's view of the operator too widely.

As for how Zariman Ten-Zero's survivors are/were viewed as a whole... we just don't know really. Well, we know there was a mixture of fear and distaste. Maybe the Orokin had extremists that, if they knew of the orphans' existence, would have called them demons a la the religious extremists we have in the real world. Even so, we don't know.

But from Helminth alone, I wouldn't read too much into it...

Yeah I have been getting this A LOT since the last update... although realistically this is just a verbal recognition of the annoying 'connect drop search' repeation issue that I've had for ages on heavily loaded maps.

Basically matchmaking code needs to be heavily reworked because it's buggy as anything.

At the very least they could have it auto retry...

But why? Kavats are constantly off running somewhere, same with Kubrows i think, so.. wouldn't that be useless anyways?

Personally, I'd like to see vacuum as an exilus mod. Yes, it would mean giving up a +15% stat to power parameters, but I think that is not so bad...

And, mod space on kubrows and kavats is very crowded as they have no separate weapon like sentinels do.

  6. +1, but also...

It would be nice if there's an option to also prefer to host. It's frustration to start a popular alert or mission over and over again but, I don't know, people quit out before the game starts or something? And then it's back to lobby, try again, etc... Of course playing solo is a work around but I usually prefer to play with people...

I've been thinking of getting a 30 day resource doubler and just going to town on the kuva missions and stocking up on it.

The re-roll cost can get kinda expensive, so i would hold onto some of it and probably stop rolling the Penta mod at 15 rolls or so and move on and return to it later when you get some extra time and no other Rivens to play with. Keep up on your sorties and you'll get some Rivens, or you could trade for them (whether it's for plat or 1:1 trade like Tonkor for Simulor or something)

Yes, I think I'll do that.

TBH I don't want a simulor riven at all. I've had a few friends that try to reroll those meta weapon rivens endless and just keep getting bad stats (erm, they're how I got all that kuva xD), but... that just seems to be a path of frustration. Turning less common weapons into something nice... For me, personally, that's what interests me.

    agreed

You can always roll the Riven and keep your current stats if the new ones are unfavorable.

And with the Kuva flood alerts, re rolling is now less of a risk.

I also have tens of thousands of kuva banked (went farming with friends but I didn't have any riven mods for a while)... but I'm just wondering if I should save it for other mods down the road, especially if I get one for a weapon I like with weak disposition...

when launchers like the Tonkor and Simulor exist, you can see why the Penta has a strong disposition

And... with this multishot, I won't even be able to fire twice before I have to wait for the grenades to fly over to the enemies and detonate them.

Supra. the Riven i got for it gave like +50% Fire rate, -40% Recoil, and +45%Reload speed. that thing was a monster. rolled it to try and get some better stats. now I'm sitting on 125% Multishot, 3.1m Punchthrough and -30% zoom. hoping to get +Dmg, Multishot , Status chance and/or any of the stats previously mentioned.

Yes... For all their faults rivens do seem like a good way to give less common weapons some love.

I'm kind of pondering if I should reroll the penta one to try to get rid of the ammo thing, or just run it with carrier and settle for what I have... never really struggled for ammo even with an unranked sniper ammo mutation, back when that was a thing, so not too worried about it. The multishot and damage though...

anyways, good luck with the supra mod!

  10. Idea is pretty much the title: A warframe-equippable vacuum mod (works the same as the sentinel version) that can go in the exilus slot.

Kubrows and Kavats simply cannot compete with the vast and wide ranging utility that sentinels offer, and on top of that, sweeper prime can clobber things for 1400 damage every half second (and I'm sure there are better builds than mine out there). All that being said... our four legged friends do have their niches. I think we would see a little more use of them if we had an alternate route to get this particular bit of utility, as no one wants to miss loot or spend more time picking stuff up than actually shooting and such.

Since this would mean giving up a modest boost to power parameters, it might even be worth making the exilus version a little longer ranged than the sentinel version. But, simply having it at all would still be a leap forward.

That's the reason I play solo whenever I can. People often forget that this is a game and should be played for fun, not rushed in such a way. If I see a Mirage+Synoid Simulor, or a Telos Boltace spammer, I already know in that mission I can only keep up to the objective. If you want to play at your pace, your only hope is to find a clan/friends who play like you.

BTW why everyone complained that Ash stealed all the kills up to the point DE reworked him, but Mirage+Simulor is untouchable? Bah

Both Mirage and Simulor have been nerfed (I think Mirage about 3 times now..?)

It's kinda like another poster said... there's no middle ground with Mirage. Either she's a DPS frame and can DPS, or she'll become a garbage bin DPS frame that can't DPS.

Oddly one of the nerfs was to Mirage's now almost useless CC...

  12. With this discussion on the steam forums I thought it might be worth including here...

I don't know the exact steps to reproduce but, in short, debuffs from infested can be permanently applied. The big one is a permanent DoT that damages shields and, eventually, health. I've encountered this both solo and multiplayer as host and client. I've also seen it occur on other players, usually with a comment along the lines of "what is damaging me?"

Everything I've tried, rolling and even dying to the point of needing a revive from other players, doesn't fix it; the only way to get rid of it that I've found is to end the mission.

It was available during The Index Preview event. It's currently not obtainable, outside of Trading with players who obtained it during the event.

I can't recommend trying to hunt it down in Trade chat, since it will definitely return when The Index is brought back to the game as a permanent addition, and the Mod itself isn't that good.

Especially at the apparent price... I know it's not too good but I like supporty things and every little bit helps. I'll wait for it to come to the Raathum then...

    Thanks for the answers.
