I mean, it looks creepy and all, but anyone with knowledge of plague doctors know that Nekros is certainly no doctor of any sort nor does he have much to do with plagues (in a good sense)

I agree on the fact that he has nothing to do with the plague, but Nekros becomes a bit of a pseudo-healer when you use the Soul Survivor augment. He can pick up his allies if they go down and give them more health with Desecrate. Not his main role, but he can be an effective healer substitute if you don't have anyone to play Trinity or Oberon.

What exactly did the Panthera buff DO, anyways? I made one because I'm not likely to ever use the Miter again, and figured it would be halfway decent MR fodder. I'm curious as to whether or not it's actually viable now.

 

..."Viable" may be the wrong word. "Usable" is probably more accurate. Or "passable".

You're not going to see a launcher with the ammo capacity of a machine gun again.

I would like to point you in the direction of the Opticor. Technically not a launcher, but it charges up and does AOE if you hit the ground with it. Close enough.

I'm with this idea, it seems like a good plan to me. Snipers need some love, I want to put my Lanka to good use. I loved the laser sniper in Halo and Metroid Prime Hunters, and I love it here :D

 

And as a small note to Azawarau, there's nothing really wrong with the "who's on Frost duty" mentality - people take "Frost duty" because they enjoy playing Frost. It's astonishing, isn't it? Some people (myself included :D) enjoy the gear that people request. If they like playing him and are willing to respond to a message requesting a Frost player, why argue against them playing Frost? Same goes for Nekros and our theoretical new "sniper duty".

[Charge Melee Attacks Should Be Added Back In.]

I can see charge attacks as a heavy melee combo finisher, perhaps. Maybe some of the combos end with a button hold corresponding to a significantly more powerful strike...I can see this working :D
