  1. I'm trying to farm the last piece of Hespar and it's borderline maddening.

Why am I getting teleported to the elevator when my teammates are extracting?
    Zariman supports solo extract.
If the time is up, extract THEM out, not me.

Getting a basic lens after 4 rounds of soloing this hell is insulting.
Fix the droptables, or at least add the weapon parts to Yonta's shop.

watch any TennoCon panel on Twitch or Steam between 12:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. ET to get the exclusive Athodai hand-cannon

    Guys, don't do this.

Give away free stuff, fine, but NOT NEW, otherwise unaccessible stuff.

This reeks of desperate triple-A, mainstream FOMO tactics.

Want people to be interested? Deliver good content, don't bait with "exclusive" BS.

  3. Karak is hitscan. No projectiles.

    Quote

In first-person shooter games, a hitscan weapon is one that, when fired, instantly hits whatever the weapon is pointing at.
This is in contrast to projectile weapons, which fire projectiles that take time to travel.

  4. Limited time content is bad.

DE, you're becoming what you swore not to be.
On top of that, you can't even keep up the schedule.
This is unhealthy for both the players (constant FOMO) and the developers (crunch)

    Stop it. Make permanent content.

Though I have to wonder what you expected?

Not a "frozen fish stick" but not casually gesticulating either.

I'd expect them to be noticably different, not only in the construction of their bodies, but also by the way they behave and communicate.

Yes, magically translating everything to English is a given in any storytelling, but as a storyteller you can still convey the implied difference by using acccents, distinctivly changing the specific words they use, as well as HOW they speak, and their body language.

They could use less common synonyms of words, "glitch out" during speaking, have erratic, irregular movements (LIKE THE COMBAT SENTIENTS!) and so on.

Bottom line, like I said initially, is that Erra feels too... human-like.

  6. DE's been honking spoilers all over their promotional material, but still, if you haven't caught up with the cinematic story - spoilers, go away!

    Spoiler

Now, does anyone else feel like Erra's animations and general behavior in the cinematics are too... casual? Too... human?

Weren't sentients supposed to be "the least humanoid race in Warframe"?

Yeah, his model looks really alien and foreign, but the way he walks, moves his "hands" around and the way of speaking to the Lotus just feels like he's a 20-something talking to his big sis, not  a self-replicating, alien, biomechanical entity he's supposed to be.

    TL;DR Immersion kinda ruined.

Give me a checkbox that overlays the stats on top of the warframe images.

I don't care about the frame images, I want the stats. Always.

    PS.
What is that gold orb? Is it endo? I don't know, it's not written anywhere.
How much of it did I get? I don't know either. It doesn't say.
    In other words: ITEM LABELS.

  8. the mission failure loop for a non-host is infuriating.

Matchmake into a game > host (pilot) damages ship into catastrophic failure > forced extract into host's dojo > host ragequits from dojo > forced loading screen to orbiter > repeat

the bolded part is a RIDICULOUS time waste and needs to be skippable in some way.

    PS
Oh, a random matchmade person can take over the pilot seat of your railjack and you as the owner have no way of kicking them off?
    Brilliant. Truly.

    This is not cool.
I'm trying to farm traces to upgrade the relic so I can finally kill him.

It's also going to affect my ability to farm primes, which pushes me further into opting out of the system altogether.

In general, the more I play the more I notice how annoying the entire Lich system is.
I previously said I was okay with how it was implemented, but I'm changing my mind:

    • in SoM/SoW fighting your nemesis was based on skill, both in planning and execution.
Here it's just a matter of RNG and grind.
If I don't have the things required to finish the fight, I might as well just run away from it.

    • In SoM/SoW it wasn't about loot (or at least it wasn't the priority until SoW endgame).
Here this A****** steals my loot, and every fight I lose against him only expands his area of influence.
Additionally, the rewards for killing him aren't even that inciting (other than getting MY stuff back).
      Again - why bother?

    • In SoM/SoW the nemesis was getting stronger slowly on their own, or rapidly if you lost to them, but you had the possibility of slowing them down.
Here I'm encouraged to either run away and leave them alone or let them kill me.
      It's completely illogical.

In conclusion, after killing my first lich, If I ever decide to have another one I'll be sure to be as prepared as possible to get rid of him ASAP.
That doesn't really align with what this system is supposed to be about (
    "long term rivalry"), does it?

    PS
I'm getting truckloads of Kuva which I don't really need. Let me use that instead to power up the Requiem relics.

    PPS
Floods still randomly don't give out the relic.

  10. Playing missions in Lich territory when you're not the host is a confusing mess.

Cameras during finishers do not match what you're actually doing, so I was often staring at an empty background.
This has been happening since the "RULES OF NATURE" cinematic cutscenes were introduced back in fortuna and I'm disappointed to still see it happening.

Then, my Lich randomly invaded and I noticed a "press X to... something" pop-up on him, so I curiously pressed it.
And my frame just instantly poofed dead.

Now, I understand the mechanic - you're supposed to get punished for attempting the kill with the wrong combo.
    That's not my issue here.
It's just that it happened with nothing to show how and why.
That just makes the entire system feel silly and underwhelming, to put it mildly.

Again, I want to stress this, I have nothing against the mechanic - I love the Nemesis system in SoM/SoW and I like how it was implemented in Warframe (maybe except having to grind the traces for relics, but that's beside the point)
I'm just a bit disappointed about how the networking severely undermines the experience.

  11. Overall I'm liking the change more than I expected (thanks for keeping Tempo Royale fun), however:

Some of the RARE stances on some weapons I tested feel inferior to UNCOMMON ones due to a smaller amount of available combos.

That should not be a thing.

  12. The mechanics in this event are step in a good direction for some coordinated coop gameplay, but this should be endgame-ish content, not a public casual event.

50% of my runs failed because the randoms hog the lantern and run away from the enemies.

  13. Taking away control of your character from you? Check
    Getting randomly one-shotted? Check
Ridiculous level of bullet sponge for no apparent reason? Check

I thought DE learned from Profit Taker about how bad these are, but apparently they did not.
    This isn't fun.
It's annoying and boring at the same time.

    You can do better.

I could see PvPvE maybe being viable as an extension of Conclave, meaning that it would be a new Conclave mode that uses Conclave's balancing and restrictions.
But as an extension of PvE Index? No, not so much.

That's exactly what I had in mind. Not sure how you arrived at a different conclusion.

    Also, good job being passive-aggressive.
We know why PvP is bad. There's plenty of evidence in this forum section, I don't need to repeat it.

Indirect PvP like Gambit (and Racing) has a way better chance of succeeding in Warframe than the chaos of trying to shoot/stab each other.

The difference between this and regular index would be the challenge of facing other players, and, like the thread title states, breathing life into Conclave so all the work put into it doesn't just rot.

  15. We all know direct PvP in Warframe... isn't great.

So, why not make it less direct and more fun at the same time?

    Step 1: Take Index
Step 2: Make it more like Gambit
    Step 3: ???
    Step 4: Profit

When I played Gambit for the first time I noticed it's very similar to Index already, and as a person who doesn't really like PvP that much, I actually had fun with it.
As long as it's rewarding (even for the losers), people will play it.
    I know I would.
