Oh this is gonna go down in the history books

Remember the saying, once something is on the net, it stays forever, even if they try to hide this or sweep it under the rug, someone out there has screen capped this all, the time back website (thingy). Just to prove "You did this, remember?"

For the first time, I think Tennocon and the 10th anniversary is a stain, not a golden shine.

The "10" in 10th Anniversary stands for 10cent!?!?!?!?!?

Jokes aside, this pretty much killed any trust I have with DE. I went so far as to buy my cousins some starter packs and other bundles just to support DE. I guess some good things never last.

  2. MR 9 has a limited selection pool. My suggestion: bump a bit to maybe MR 12 for some of the good stuff. Anyway, here are my favorites for MR 9.

    EVERGREEN PRIMES

These prime weapons are always available and on the easier side to farm and craft. Not necessarily "the best" weapon early on but can certainly carry you through the star chart. You will get HUGE firepower upgrades for Braton Prime and Lex Prime via incarnon genesis (making these two some of the best weapons you can get) so I think the steep forma investment is justified.

    1. Braton Prime (~5 formas) - PRIMARY
    2. Lex Prime (~4 formas) - SECONDARY

    PRIMARY

    1. Ignis Wraith (~5 formas). Flamethrower with good range and damage with innate heat. It has punch through too! Probably the easiest one to get. Available from clan research. It requires Detonite Injectors that can be farmed from invasions. Don't bother with the regular Ignis.
    2. Phantasma/Phantasma Prime (~2 formas/~1 forma). My favorite Index weapon. Chaining beam weapon with innate radiation and very low reload speed. Low forma investment even for the regular variant. The blueprint for the regular Phantasma is from the in game market for 25k credits. The prime variant relics is currently available at the time of writing.
    3. Cedo (~3 formas). Great weapon with cool gimmicks but it's really hard to farm. I put this on the list since it requires MR 8.

    SECONDARY

    1. Atomos (~4 formas). Ignis Wraith as a secondary. It requires steep forma investment too. The blueprint is from the in game market for 30k credits. Just like Braton Prime and Lex Prime, it also has incarnon genesis upgrade so the investment is worth it.

    MELEE

    1. Xoris. You get it from a story mission for free. The heavy attack explosion is great and useful for a certain mission type related to the story mission you get this from. It packs a mean punch even at no forma investment.

  3. I had no idea this thread is still alive. Cheers for that.

After reading all doom posts about Terra, this might be me overdosing on copium but the recent Caliban release gave me hope that the main design will still be the Warframe that I fell in love with on the first sight.

The alternate stuff on the other hand... Terra's fate might be lurking on the horizon for us.

8 pushups in one sitting? I'm unfamiliar with these terms.

Sorry. Bad wording on my part. 8 pushups without taking a break. My target was 15 pushups but I started to feel pain on my 8th. I'm pretty sure I could've hit 15 but better safe than sorry.

I started the one hundred pushups routine yesterday. Managed to get 3 pushups for the initial test. Let's see which one lasts longer, my will to keep going with the routine or this thread.

So I managed to hit 8 for this week's progress test before I felt pain on my lower abdomen. Probably because I'm doing the two hundreds situps too. I guess I'll hold on the routines for a week and see if the pain subsides. The last thing I want is my stomach burst and not being able to play with HoD launching this week.

  7. Archwing Blink:  Sometimes it refuse to work as if the blink ability is on cooldown. It happens randomly and I can't reproduce it. Getting back to railjack will fix it MOST of the time.

Slingshot: This one happens all the time. Slingshot becomes unusable if you use it to infiltrate enemy crewship (Gunnery Intrinsic Rank 4, where you have to lock in on crewship with slingshot). Returning to Dry Dock and then back to mission again won't fix it. Only returning to Orbiter will. Locking in on fighters, slingshot to empty space, and crashing to solid object are fine.

I tested these stuff on solo mode.

  8. I bought Prisma Latron Shoulder Plate from Baro without knowing that it was just the left shoulder piece instead of both sides. I found this out when I bought the Leg Plate(s). At the time, I thought it was a bit weird that the shoulder plates were sold separately while the leg plate(s) were sold in set. Not to mention the left shoulder plate needs 325 ducats while it's 300 ducats for the leg plates set. It didn't bother me that much since I was expecting the right shoulder plate will be sold later.

Now that Baro is bringing the chest plate, I'm starting to doubt that Prisma Latron Shoulder Plate was intended to be just the left piece only since (1) It costs almost the same as the leg plates set and (2) it's labeled as Prisma Latron Shoulder Plate instead of Left Prisma Latron Shoulder Plate.

Can we get a confirmation on this?

  9. This week's Event Affinity Booster somehow stops working for me. It worked before since I maxed my weapon in 5 rounds of Hydron with another Affinity Booster (from Nightwave). The weird thing is that the Event Affinity Booster shown as active when I'm in my orbiter (https://imgur.com/rlO2l2N) and then gone when I'm in mission (https://imgur.com/DdtgY8X).

yeah pass...my end game is now how long can I go without catching this RNG malaria...and that could actually be just as fun to see how far you could go...

You managed to squeeze some chuckles out of my burned soul.

It seems that I rode the hype train so hard that I'm out of steam already after getting back to this game a couple of months ago from a 2 years break. I was going to start my 3rd lich hunt when I realized I spent almost 4 hours just to figure out the murmurs to get a weapon that will definitely be another MR fodder. At this point I don't want to remember how long it took me to farm the right requiem mods.

I'm a big fan of the Nemesis system from Shadow of Mordor and thought that putting it in Warframe would let me feel the thrill of having a nemesis once again. But instead I got a rage inducing multi-layered RNG slot machine. It feels tedious especially when the only compensation I get is collecting 10+ of weapons with a high chance of getting duplicates and sub-par bonus stats (which again relied on RNG). I don't think I'm going to play another round of lich hunt until DE somehow tweak it.
