[Unable to Join group in Orb Vallis [Investigating]]

I've been having this same exact proplem all night, but I have somehow managed to play in squad earlier today (all attempts were after the update)

I'm 200rep away from ranking up with the quills and after farming 12 sentient cores (enough for the rep and rank up) I could no longer turn in the cores for reputation,
clicking + did nothing and manually typing the number I wanted to turn in resulted in it going back to 0 whenever I tried to confirm.

[Operator sigil resets]

Just the smallest thing, but that somehow bothers me so much.

My Operator has the scar sigil on her chest (matching the same sigil on my Valkyr chest) that I changed so it would look like a vertical cut next to her arm like this

BUT whenever I sit down on the system map to select a mission the sigil resets to its default properties like this

Like I said, it's just a small thing that bugs me more than it should
