I would love to see the damage spreadsheet as a visual version and in simple format as we have with elemental damage in the wikia. Tried it once but failed miserably cause I have no brains for these kinds of logics because of large variation of the enemies and damage modifiers.

As for example this warframe wikia elemental damage cheat sheet could be upgraded with fraction info:

Back in time a friend of mine asked me to make a damage cheat sheet for Magic School Lussid mobile game to more visual and attractive version. The damage mechanics in that card game were pretty simple but I had really hard time with it. So I have given up with Warframe and Damage cheat sheets.

Magic School Lussid: Water element is wrongly translated. In-game it's Ice element

I'd do that except I have no Artistic Ability whatsoever. Although I have begun to update the OP  with more info for those who prefer something simple vs the spreadsheet.

  2. Any thoughts on usefulness or how to improve? Especially how to make toxin fit in with the other types.

As to how the info works:

Everything is in percentages because that's how the damage is dealt with. (see: http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Damage which is where i got all the basic numbers)

Sinew and Machinery are used by very few enemies (Phorid, Regulators, Latchers, Rollers) so I left them out of the equation. (If enough people complain I'll add it back)

While I came up with three different ways to measure the usefulness (Total, Basic rating, Advanced Rating) they all have the same order just different numbers and that order is.

    (RU all)

    #1 Toxin            #4 Viral     #7 Slash        #10 Puncture         13# Radiation

    #2 Magnetic      #5 Gas      #8 Blast         #11 Electricity

    #3 Corrosive     #6 Heat     #9 Impact      #12 Cold

*NOTE* the reason for toxin's #1 position is because it Penetrates Shield and Proto making it 100% effective against those types this makes it seem unbalanced but i dont know how to fix it. Ideas would be appreciated

The Ranking of Usefulness (RU) for corpus only is as follows

    #1 Toxin             #5 Electricity     #9 Radiation           #13 Heat

    #2 Magnetic       #6  Cold            #10 Gas

    #3 Viral              #7 Slash           #11 Puncture

    #4 Impact          #8 Blast            #12 Corrosive

    RU Grineer

    #1 Viral

    #2 Radiation

    #3 Corrosive

... To Be Finished Later Bored now going to play Warframe

Ugh... This sort of thread again.

You know there is a reason why our Warframes are built around a specfic gender... (It's because for as far as we know, there is nothing underneath the skin of a Warframe, and their designs are based off of the first Warframes, The Primes. Were the Primes built around Tenno, is that why some are male and some are female? We may never know) But hopefully we will see eventually. I really want to see what's inside a Warframe, if anything. :)

Personally, I'm fine with things as is but some people are not and this seems like the simplest solution. Also, I said that these "models" might be used for other purposes than genderswaps.

Also the models need not be limited to just male/female. Mabye a more draconic look for chroma or a frost that looks like he's made from ice, these changes would be more thatn could be done with just skins which simply change the textures and not the actual model.

DE has said that this will never happen.

Reloaded page and saw the above quote.

REPLY: Ah, see I'm newish and I didn't know about that.... still the idea of models as more extensive versions of skins would still be a good one and I'll stop at that. I'll still leave the OP as is to prevent any comment confusion. My apologies for a semi-pointless thread.

EDIT: I disagree with your reasoning flyboy but arguing that would be for a different thread. (yes i know about the second dream so

    Spoiler

I know that Tenno aren't really in the warframes

but my reasoning isn't based on that. :END OF EDIT

  4. Okay so I've seen people complain about the fact that each warframe has only a single gender and that they want both genders to be available for their warframes. My solution, and its quite simple, is for  DE to sell warframe models on the market.

What I mean by models is the form for the warframes that the skins go on. They would have the current genders of the warframes as the default and have it to where you could pay platinum to unlock the other gender model. Skins would fit over both models and there would be no stat changes between models either simply cosmetic (note it might be nessecary for different models to have different animation set that make more sense)

Also the models need not be limited to just male/female. Mabye a more draconic look for chroma or a frost that looks like he's made from ice, these changes would be more thatn could be done with just skins which simply change the textures and not the actual model.

In closing I think this would be very benifical to both the players and the devs. The reason being that the players get more customisation options and the devs can charge platinum for it which would intice the players to purchase platinum putting money in their pockets.

  5. I have found an issue where on an infestation nightmare alert Grineer tileset defense mission that if you attempt to use a rampart your screen will black out and you cannot use the rampart. this mission was the Helene, Saturn mission that provided rending strike.

also though it did not happen with my friend when they attempted to replicate it when I did it the first time I could not pick up items, revive allies or be damaged by enemies but I could still damage enemies with all attacks. my friend said that on their screen I appeared to be stuck at the rampart even though I was running around killing things. My friend would see my animations but I would not move from behind the rampart on their screen.

Both players were Excaliber warframes. Also as said before when trying to replicate the screen still went black and the rampart was still unusable but my friend did not experience the same "rift-like" glitch and i could still see them moving around as normal
