  1. I just used a transmutation on 4 pistol rivens I had. It gave me a new pistol riven challenge, but the challenge seems to be bugged. See below for screen shot of riven.

    I've tried several times, and actually completing it. It is not generating a completion however. Anyone get this challenge and actually able to complete it? Let me know how you did it.

    You're right. It can be a niche at times. Don't get me wrong either.  I still love playing Vazarin. I guess in some cases it's nice to see others out there that play it as well. I'm looking forward to see where it goes in the future! Thanks all for this nice feed back!

It's a decent shield to put up in front of another ally that can't really defend themselves, maybe a Peacemaker Mesa or a Soundquake Banshee. I don't have any issues with sustaining it, because you regen void energy even while it's in use - I can hold it up indefinitely in practical situations in sortie level missions (think eximus stronghold endless missions). Instead, my issue with it is that it's really too small to effectively act as a shield.

    Sonic dash gives you a large AoE stun wave on void dash that has some nice forward coverage and zero additional energy cost which is a pretty good free CC.

    Guardian Blast is basically shield recharge for some extra void energy cost, it's okayish during lull periods in between defence/interception waves to grant your allies overshields or if you're Harrow and need the shields for your ability - nothing groundbreaking but not entirely useless as well.

    Yeah, there are some inherent flaws to the Vazarin abilities as several other people above and myself have highlighted, but I actually feel that Zenurik is the easy access one-trick, while Vazarin is the true team supporting king.

    You have some really good points. I like the ideas for the PoE play. Good points on the Void Aegis and Void blasts. However, I don't use Guardian shell... which locks out the blast portion.

    The real complaint I have on the Guardian Shell is at high levels, (Kuva floods) I couldn't keep it up because it zapped all my energy when an enemy hit it. Ok, I only have it at the 2nd tier, making it soak up energy at every 200 damage, still though. ....eh. range boost? definitely. 

    Sonic Dash which someone also brought up isn't so bad, just doesn't do anything to the enemies you just bypassed.

    Does anyone agree with the issue with not being able to heal your companion with Protective Dash?

    Mending Sould, being in a group with a lot of lower level enemies is not an issue with the instant revives. But a group of 4 in higher leveled enemies, 8 revives gets used up pretty quickly when reviving kubrow and kavats in the mix (their AI is not the greatest). I am referring mostly on endless missions as well.

    Agreed. Vazarin is a true support king. I would hope it can iron out some of these flaws. Support is my choice of game play honestly.

  4. Sorry to respond so late in this. I just figured it out. I've been having some other issues in the game (color palette having weird color issues) and uninstalled the game, then reinstalled it. It fixed all these issues. Weird.

  6. I used Vazarin before the rework all the time, just because I liked the wave symbol... and of course helping out the squad with a dome shield and health. Not to mention the stackable instant revives. Now, the abilities in the Vazarin are lack luster... In my opinion.

    The reasons being

    1: none of your companions are healed with the "protective dash". Before they were. <-- probably my biggest complaint.

    2: "Mending soul", once the 4 revives are used, no more instant revives can be given. It sometimes works in operator mode, but after a while, that is gone as well. Unless you die, then it resets.

    3: "Guardian shell"... just a joke use in my opinion. In sortie level missions this literally zaps all your operators energy from a stray bullets. When in kuva flood missions, I couldn't stun the big guys because of this. As soon as i tried, my energy was gone from some level 100 bullet that took out the 1 second I had it on to void blast the fat ones. Very clunky as well with the delay it makes. 

    4: What's the point of "void aegis"?

    Hopefully this gets somewhere. Maybe I'm the only one here that likes the Vazarin focus group. I don't hear many things about it. Let's face it, Zenurik is king right now. I think DE can afford to buff vazarin to compete a little. A lot of people use Zenurik it seems. I like to use other focus groups because it bring a different approach to the game. Just like Riven mods (I may get a little heat on this). I like them. I get to change the weapon uses all the time with these. It's great for me.

     

  7. Went straight to the plains and tried to start mining first thing. As soon as I reached the first ore to mine, took out the tool, and began mining. Then the beam mid stream went away and so did the line path where I just cored. The mining view was also stuck when I switched to weapons or anything else.

    This has happened twice in a row. Anyone else get this?

    EDIT: I actually can't mine right now. It's been happening every time I try and mine. Please Help!

    Thanks anyways for all the replies. I still don't really get some of them though. " ...go to bank info and chargeback the payment..." Why wouldn't you just do this when you bought PA? Try it out, then if DE removes it, you at least tried it out. Also, can you really stop the pending charge and get your money back after you bought something downloadable? I have no clue, too complicated for me.

    what in the world does seaport have to do with the price of eggs? In other words... What?

    NUNCHUCKS, slash damage with blades extending on attack for extra reach. Extra finisher and stealth attack animations would be great, maybe a new stance?

    I had a similar idea, similar to nunchaku; The 3 section staff. Someone with art skills submit something like that! mmmm melt in your pants good.

  11. 2. What interests you *most* about new melee weapons?

    The feeeeeeel of the weapon. Of course I love the look of the weapon, but I play with the Ninkondi for 2 reasons; the feel of swinging two rods tied together with a chain and bapping foes left and right (pretty much the same time), and, of course, numbchuuucks are sweet and cool looking!

    Also, I love finishers on foes, but when a finisher takes on average 5 seconds, is there a way where, for example I use Excals radial blind on a bunch of enemies, I don't want to be doing single finishers on each of them to get the cool look. Can we incorporate group finishing on a crowd of incapacitated enemies? Kinda like Assassins Creed will take out 2 or 3 people at a time when the positioning is close enough. The programming is probably complicated, but I wouldn't know really. I don't even have a clue what "scripts" even mean when you mention that in update announcements.

    PS: Let your BF know that giving up is not an option. I can't give him any great revelation or speech to help, and I'm not sure that always helps long term. I do believe though, that struggles like this help give a different aspect on life. And... if he shares it with others, he will be able to save a life in the process. Never, ever give up! This goes for you too GF! :)

  14. Trying to complete the MR19 test, and in the middle of it I couldn't melee. I could sneak up on them but to melee the domes it wouldn't work. It was like my melee button wouldn't work. he just stood there looking at it while I pushed the button to melee.

    I saw how we had to choose another relic in the "endless" break, and thought... "What is the point in going on if I have to choose another relic?"

    This, to me personally, is not the answer I think people were looking for. Before, I could use ONE key and get multiple drops. I see DE's predicament though. We can boost these relics to up the chances of a rare, and if I am endlessly going on one relic, I could potentially get 3 or 4 rares in a row.

    Here is my thought. In the breaks, we can choose to stay and keep what reward we got out of the relic, then as we continue let's say our mobility is a little slower now due to the "weight" of what we got. This keeps going and going and pretty soon we are pretty bogged down with rewards we could be running pretty slow. Or something like how the index uses the green things that drop making us a little more squishy.

    My last thoughts are; seeing the relic "endless" preview they gave us, I really would never continue. I would exit, then do it again. I'm not interested in staying in by choosing another relic and saving 5 seconds to call it "endless." DE, don't waste your time in that update. It's pointless.

  16. First of all, I like the Index. Good idea and nice mods too.

    Buuuuut, not sure if I'm getting my credits back. I haven't "lost" a game, but I don't get the return it says I should get. If this is tied to the personal point goal, I don't think that is the way to go. Mainly because I have been running the endurance part of it, and my personal point "goal" of 100 points is not achievable. Especially when I have freeloaders hanging around me waiting for the kill, then coming in for the green tweeties.

    The game has some other issues of ending the game because we got our goal of 100 points, but we really didn't... the total being around 50 something. Maybe I am totally misunderstanding the point of the Index, but it seems a little clunky at the moment. Honestly, I'm having a blast playing it tho. I love playing rathuum, and this being the corpus version is quite nice. I'm just running out of credits... not getting that return. Granted, I have enough to waste, I just don't like to.

  17. So, here is my post to the question 4, Ash's blade storm. I don't use Ash too much, but I do like the blade storm power. One of my worries are not being able to hit an enemy that is not in line of site to highlight them. I'd like to be able to have the ability hit someone on the other side of a wall or object, like a true ninja would when they teleport. Also, I don't get the double tagging mechanism. What if I started in the middle of a group, then swept across the group a second time to hit the other peeps, but then, oh poop... ran out of energy. Aaaaand maybe I don't fully understand it either.
