  1. My constructive criticism and suggestions on the Ember Deluxe Skin

The following is my personal opinion, I am sure there are people who like the skin, to those people, congratulations! You now have a new deluxe skin that you can use!

    My criticisms:

First, the OBVIOUS chicken concept that it has going on. Yes, I know DE seems to have intended it to be a phoenix but the design speaks otherwise. It has a rooster's comb, distinct separation from the knee downwards (chicken's legs), and body feathers. Ember has always had sort of a fire-chicken look but her theme is just fire. The Ember Deluxe skin has 3 tiny flames coming from tiny nozzles around her head, if you didn't already know that Ember is a fire-themed warframe then you definitely would not be able to tell based on the Deluxe skin.

Next, the helmet. I'm assuming those jiggly hotdog looking things on the helmet are supposed to feathers, right? Problem is they don't look like feathers, not one bit. They look bad, I don't want to say more because that would be rude but I would never use that helmet. I mean, they jiggle way too much almost like they are "alive". Feathers do not look or jiggle like that, go see birds fly or peacocks walk. These are as thick as sausages and flail about just as much. Maybe I am wrong though, maybe they aren't feathers. It looks like a rooster's comb too so maybe it's supposed to be a fleshy crest, just makes her look more like a chicken and less like a phoenix though.

Moving onto the body feathers. Honestly, not too bad. I don't think it fits Ember but they don't look outright awful. Compare the body feathers with the helmet "feathers". See the difference?

Lastly, the feet. The new Ember Deluxe skin screams chicken but the one thing that would have sealed the deal is gone, Ember's distinctive dinosaur feet. Come on, the whole chicken "phoenix" theme and they remove the bird feet. Why? Now it just looks strange (even more so than it already does). They look like high-heeled boots, so all in all it looks like a chicken "phoenix" wearing high-heeled boots.

My suggestions (not that it will ever matter):

-Replace the body feathers with fire or make the feathers have a glowing, fiery look to them. Better yet, remove the feathers and replace with a constant row of flames all where the feathers were (think of the flames on her Prime helmet).

-Lessen the wobbliness of her comb, please. Better yet, replace those sausages with the body feathers. Even better yet, replace with fiery feathers.

-Return the bird feet! The whole design screams avian and they remove the bird feet, she even has the bird legs now too. Please give us some form of bird feet.

-Add more fire! Ember is a fire-themed warframe so please add something to indicate as much.

In conclusion, I personally do not like the skin as it is now. With some improvements it might start to look better. I do not think it looks like a phoenix at all, western or eastern. It looks like a damn chicken and that is the cold (hot?) truth. Phoenixes are supposed to be legendary, awe-inspiring creatures; this is nothing of the sort. What DE gave us is a queer rooster.

*GASP*? HOW DARE YOU? THESE ARE NOT [clickbait adjective] RIVENS! I KNOW THAT MY IDEA OF A [clickbait adjective] RIVEN IS SUBJECTIVE BUT HOW DARE YOU CALL YOUR RIVENS [clickbait adjective] WHEN THEY ARE NOT INFACT [clickbait adjective]?!?!?!?

HOW DARE YOU QUESTION THE SHEER MIGHT OF THESE [clickbait adjective] RIVEN MODS!?1!!11 THESE ARE OBVIOUSLY [clickbait adjective] AND IF YOU CAN'T SEE THAT THEN YOU'RE A NOOB IMO SMH!!!111!!

  3. I think Hydroid would be a lot more fun to play if his Undertow could be a cast-at-location ability. It would be like setting a trap to crowd control an area. You could still jump into the puddle and continue to use it like the way it presently is. Furthermore, if Tentacle Swarm is cast on the puddle, have it pull enemies into the puddle for its duration. Boom, instant synergy.

These changes not only make Hydroid more fun they also make him a more interactive warframe. His present play style promotes AFK behavior and, simply put, is quite bland. With these suggested changes, none of your previous work is scrapped, Hydroid will simply be improved upon.

I really think these changes will make Hydroid a much more competitive frame. Thank you for your time.

--Also looking to buy a specific Ohma riven mod--

It must have crit on slide as a positive stat, if it does not have it then I am not interested.

For the second and third stats (third stat is optional) I would like them to be any of the following: melee damage, toxin damage, electric damage, range, attack speed, or status chance. Might accept heat damage depending on other stats.

I would prefer one with a harmless negative but it is not required. The negatives I'm looking for are channeling stats, finisher damage, and, possibly, status duration.

PM me or message me in-game.

    Thanks

  6. Volt, thank you for posting a video showcasing your Prisma Tetra. I have to ask though, could the Prisma Tetra do that without firing through 2(?) electric shields? In my experience, it can't.

I'm running Serration, Split Chamber, Heavy Caliber, Point Strike, Vital Sense, Malignant Force, High Voltage, and Stormbringer. I tried swapping out Point Strike and Vital Sense for Infected Clip and Primed Cryo Rounds but it still takes me almost two clips (of headshots) to kill a lvl 135 Corrupted Bombard, something my Prisma Grakata can do in about half a clip.

I also think there are other weapons that could use some buffs but I just decided to focus on the Tetras for this post. I'd like the Deras, Karaks, and Gorgons to get some love too.

I'm not asking for OP buffs, I'd be happy if they buffed the crit chance to 15% and upped the status chance to 20% though I would certainly welcome more base damage as well.

    It...really doesn't.

Either you are using a powerful riven mod, a warframe's ability, or are on your second clip because using a corrosive/crit build it takes me around 1.75 clips of headshots to kill a stationary lvl 135 Corrupted Bombard. Takes me about a full clip of consistent headshots to kill a lvl 100 Corrupted Bombard. These are very babied conditions as I doubt most warframes can casually walk up to a lvl 100+ Bombard and empty a clip(s) squarely in the face.

A "vanilla" modded Tetra(Prisma) should not need a riven and/or warframe ability buff in order to be viable. It is outclassed by just about every other weapon.

Please post a video showing your modded Tetra(Prisma) killing the Corrupted Bombard otherwise the photo is meaningless. For all we know you could used a maxed Vex Armor Chroma with a crazy dmg + ms riven mod.

If you are against having an under-powered and under-used weapon receive a buff then I would kindly ask you to provide your reasons and proof. Thank you :)
