    Fair point. while writing this i began to realize that it will be part of the whip category, but i sure hope they will add a spiky one with special slams or something similar.

  2. i know there is a  tennogen whip skin(whip Wuush Skin) that attaches a spiky ball at the end making it sort of a morning star weapon, but i hope one day will get an actual spiky, flair weapon in warframe, similar to the scorpion flair in Ratchet Deadlocked (its awesome !)

    Perhaps a new whip weapon with a unique combo like the Verdilac only this time the combo is smashing a massive spiky ball on the ground hitting enemies.

    A neutral combo where you smash the spiky flair on the ground in front of you and a unique slam attack doing a similar move or a special heavy attack slam would be AWESOME.

  3. With the new cold proc changes announced in the recent devstream (for those who don't know - cold procs will be able to completely freeze enemies now)

    will frost get any changes to his abilities along the way? im not talking about revamping his kit, but perhaps increase the number of cold procs he inflicts ?

    Making it an augment mod will let the player decide if they want the song to be played or not. Personally if it will be an exilus mod that will be perfect imo.

     

    Then again either that or make it part of the prime. Although we are getting 11-12 new augment mods next update.

You spend up to a 1/3 of the ability duration charging it up and before you know it you are back in the loop of recasting and charging again.     Some might say this will make him unbalanced but I beg to differ when we have warframes that can strip armour, increase attack buffs and the likes for free with no additional work needed. Gyre can become the room nuking monster and never need to recast her abilities as they maintain themselves. Wisp has a single cast ability that remains indefinitely so long as you pick up the motes from time to time. These are just two examples, but I really think Gauss redline could be a maintainable ability and not be completely broken if the augment condition is engaging enough.

    Edit: Could call the mod Perpetual Motion - Redline cooldown is paused while moving, standing still for x amount of time will resume redline cooldown/ drain the battery.

    tbh ill be fine with a redline augment that lets gauss play his prime song "redline" while the buff is active.

  7. ill keep it short :

    redline augment (4th ability of gauss) : changes the music to "redline" while the ability is active (with that make it be an exilus mod) - like sevagoth's deluxe skin and his 4th ability.

    maybe some ability improvements too but i don't think redline needs any tweaks besides letting the player play the song, making it an augment mod lets the player decide if they want the song or not.

    Or are you implying Wisp's assets- portals reached even farther than the Zariman did?

    Edit: the scene looked like Wisp's  nursery/garden where her Reservoirs grew, with all those densely packed holes containing what appears to be water.

    i just want to know what that area is and where can i view it up-close.

    all the prime trailers use in-game areas or captura rooms that are avaliable in-game. i don't recognize this area as any of the Earth or Plains.

    just something seemed off when i saw an unknown tile/area, ballas talking about the new vision of a new earth and sentients to appear.

    But none of that screams Tau to me.

    Tau is also described as an "alien blue star" that "was dark and blinding beyond us", but the sky isn't very blue.

    The Orokin were also interested in fixing Earth, which was an Infested wasteland. "New heaven, new Earth" could just refer to, well, Earth.

    true, but have we seen this area before?

    usually DE uses already in-game tilesets for their prime trailers, i dont recall seeing this place on any of Earth's missions or plains of eidolon.

    looks much newer compare to these tilesets in terms of design.

    i somewhat disagree that the reference of new earth is earth after the orokin will "fix" it, after all they were the ones destroying it and after that the grineer if i recall currectly.

  10. Does anyone recognize the area that wisp prime's trailer was shot at? i get that feeling that its somewhat a new area as it doesnt look similar to any of the Earth's tiles nor the plains of Eidolon.

    At the beginning of the trailer Ballas talks about the "new earth" (referring to Tau) and Wisp is fighting sentients in the trailer which i don't recall seeing any in any of the prime trailers.

    this could be a duviri cave/tileset but if thats the case then what are the sentients do there and how come the waframe is operational there(yes i know, you could briefly use warframes in Duviri, im not referring to the Undercroft).

     

    Could it be that this is sort of a sneak into the Tau region?

  11. Thanks for the update!

    There are still some bugs with Nidus like having a hole under the right hand(when raising the hand you can see a hole).

    Also the tennogen skins do not use the new mutation like it was using before the first fix after 30.7(when toggling primr assets it used to cover the entire arm in gold as well as using the new visuals for the mutation), as well as the prime assets are not mashed well with the tennogen skins(alot of broken textures like on his chest for example)

    Will it be possible to change Nidus's third ability to use your emissive/energy color instead of the default red?

    yes true,i just find it "odd" to use 200% str and still see no difference, again i just hope them to make aegis storm activate automatically balefire and maybe make the 3rd abilty do something more than just a shield buff that even now no one besides my sentinel likes it sadly.

I would like to dedicate this post/page to thank DE for their hard work from home during such chaotic and rough time around the world. the scarlet spear event is really fun in my opinion, buggy, but very enjoyable 😉 thank you DE for making such good game and i hope to see more cool stuff added in the game in the future ❤️

  14. I may be one of about 10 Hildryn mains but ive been thinking about some tweaks that can be done to her(not augument ideas).

    1) As a QoL change towards her augment BALEFIRE SURGE, why not make balefire automatically equipped when activating Aegis Storm(as of now you need to manually activate it as well if its off, my suggestion is to auto-activate balefire if its not activated when casting aegis storm).

    2)I guess this one might act as an augment idea but i really hope to either buff Haven's(3rd skill) damage a bit or make it actually proc RAD PROCS as it deals radiation damage.

    3) Aegis storm having lower AoE the higher you hover up but "higher damage" is not any different than hovering 1mm over the ground, would love to see an actuall difference in damage or just go full CC and make it's radius unaffected by high from the ground.

    would really appreciate those small changes as i am a Hildryn main to the core hehe.

    I do not play the pc warframe version so i have to go off the notes since it has yet to come to the console. But since it reads as +30% shield recharge for 12 seconds, i would assume that means it recovers that 30% shield over 12 seconds (or 2.5% per second)

    So basically 2.5% of 300 shields is 7.5 shields per second or 90 shields. Unless D.E. conviently left out the PER SECOND, then that means its worst for those with low values.

    This is why i stated that for hildryn it was a buff for the NORMAL build, since she tends to range between 3k to 6k shields which amounts to around well, 900 to 1800 recovery. Which can pretty much sound like a nerf on the low ends, but try to remember this is over 12 seconds. Which 12 seconds for the old one would be 920 shields, pretty much the SAME as before.

    Now if its recovering 2.5% shields per second that means its between 75 per second on the 3k end and 150 on the 6k end. So its definitely HIGHER per count for those with higher shields.

     

    Course in all honesty this just proves that they effectively made Aegis only useful to Hildryn who has a high shield base and that it should of been 50% or 60% shield percentage which would of been more benefical to previous shield frames like Trinity, Mag & even Frost, Which more then likely the effect cannot REFRESH once active likely how D.E. forgot to include that detail on arcane guardian, based on how i have been hearing some people talk about it.

    not sure myself either. didnt had alot of time to test it(also i have r3 aegis atm), as far as i can tell it felt faster than the old aegis, but we shall see what will happen. playin mag atm cz the shield buffs motivated me to try her out after alot of time.

    i was afraid that arcane aegis got nerfed cz it says now "shield recharge", i first assumed it actually just increases recharge but fun fact is its actually better now than ever. i regen shields alot faster.
