Some multiplayer tests I did. (Benchmarks for solo runs are on the 2nd page, response #38)
System: i7 4770k@stock; GTX 770 4 gb; 8gb RAM; Win 7 64 bits.
Settings maxed (FOV max and Physx on) at 1080p.
Full party in every test.

Just did a couple of runs to benchmark the FPS change and this is what I got.
System: i7 4770k@stock; GTX 770 4gb; 8gb RAM; Win 7 64 bits.
Game runs at 1080p and all the video settings are maxed out (FOV is maxed, Physx is On).
All the runs were made solo.

Downloaded the Beta drivers for a test and I must say that I'm impressed with the performance now.
Void was horrible before: Most of the time I had between 40-50 fps (Never had steady 60fps there. Lowest was around 40).
Void with the Beta drivers: I'm always between 60-75 fps (Even with a lot of stuff on the screen. Lowest was 58fps and it was very rare)
Didn't test other areas/tilesets since the Void was the most problematic.
-
Yesterday's patch (12.6) had some optimizations for the void and I noticed a decent bump in frames.
Unfortunately, I still have frequent drops to 40 frames.
I'm not doing lots of void runs and the performance issue is the main reason I don't.

Not U13, that's for sure :p
I wouldn't mind getting that Corpus Freeze ray or some new cosmetics.

My hope is that they don't entirely ditch these events/custom quests in favor of purely systemic/randomly generated quests and content.
I still remember WoW...daily quests and rep farming gets boring really fast.
Other example is Skyrim: Radiant Quests! Random generated quests that deliver huge/infinite amount of content to the game! Oh yeah...they are just "Go Kill X", "Go fetch Y"...they're not very good or even entertaining...
-
I recommend it.
Bought both Resource boosters and equipped Nekros...So many resources...
Just did a short 20 min Nuovo-Ceres Survival and got this:

Of course Warframe needs balance.
It won't happen until they remove the infinite level scaling though.

+1 to this.
Overall loadouts are a must.

Yes. The void tables were modified and now this can happen.
Is it acceptable though? No, of course not.
DE already said that the tables could be tweaked further to avoid situations like this so now it's only a matter of waiting.

Doing several T2 Mobile Defense runs and always getting T3 Mobile Defense keys as a reward.

THE BAD:
Bosses are broken: https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/173253-phobos-iliad-boss-broken/
Attempted to kill 2 different bosses (Hek and Hyena pack) and the mission bugs out. Heard similar reports from other players.
-
Yeah, bosses are definitely bugged...
Went to Neptune to try the new Hyena Pack boss.
Arrived at their room, downed 2 of them and the 3rd one dissapears...but it still taunted us.
Then after a couple of minutes the last hyena finally appears! We down it BUT they still taunt us and Lotus doesn't tell us our job is done. The waypoint still pointed at the room where the boss was and extraction was impossible. We waited for a while and scavenged the entire level but nothing happened...
It's safe to say bosses are a bit broken now :p
-
Something similar happened to me.
I went to Everest - Nightmare Mode, to kill Vay Hek and after killing him, he still talked to us.
There was no usual confirmation from the Lotus that the target was "down"...
The waypoint was guiding us towards what we expected to be extraction but when we arrived there, the waypoint pointed towards the room where Hek was...
-
Agreed.
The UI looks sweet but we really need a UI scalling option.
-
I actually find Interception a pretty cool/fun game type.
Sure, it has a few issues that need ironing out (more enemies/harder ones please!) but the core idea is nice.
-
Yeah, this has been an epidemic.
Since the start of the event, I've run Kappa 15-20 times and EVERY SINGLE TIME the party just wonders off to try and kill as much as possible disregarding the objective and their teammates. We even managed to lose a couple of times due to their stupidity/selfishness...
I think DE should apply an aura on the Terminal/Cryopod: ANYTHING killed OUTSIDE of those rooms where the objectives are will only give 50% of the XP. Enemies will also have a reduced chance to drop mods/resources.
-
I thought the point of spy was that one person takes all the datamasses so the others are free to use their primaries to defend the carrier. That's how I play it, and as a bonus it means that as long as I and one other get to extraction, it's all good.
Of course, my random teammates don't always agree that defending the carrier is a good idea, but that's another thing entirely.
This only happened because 2 datamass locations where far apart from each other. We split the party so it could go faster...but looking back that was an awful decision.
-
Something must be done regarding this.
The game is running rampant with leechers, afkers, people that go 43434 miles away from the cryopod/mobile defense target to do God knows what and other kinds of awful people. There is absolutely nothing to even fight these issues on the game.
This last week I've been farming Kappa for Oxium...and of course 80% of the time I end up with people that go away from the point to spawn farm or do whatever they usually do. A couple of those times we were close to losing but there was one time that we ACTUALLY lost, despite our team being stacked.
Then, we fast forward to today...There is an alert with Trinity's alt helm as reward...Spy mission.
We collect the 4 datamasses and head to extraction...3 people there with 3 datamasses. The remaining player with the last datamass takes like 4 or 5 minutes to get there (delaying it on purpose), then gets to the edge of the extraction room and starts mocking us with wormholes and other crap. He then procedes to troll us for a while and write stuff on the chat (I say stuff because we couldn't understand it...it was cyrillic)...end result: we abort the mission.
What could be done to prevent these situations ?
A lot of people mention kick voting...although I don't disagree with them, this is more of an extreme measure and could lead to massive abuse...
This should be more of a last resort action.
Some ideas to deal with these issues:
For AFK'ers: Make it so that after a set amount of idle time, a player gets kicked to the main menu. 3 or 4 minutes of idle time are an estimate for a reasonable amount of time. Sometimes, legit players need to either answer a call, go to the bathroom really fast or do something else...so the timer shouldn't be unreasonably short (shouldn't be too long as well). 3 or 4 minutes is a good amount IMO.
This should only get implemented on public matchmaking. For private parties this would be awful. Friends and clannies make a lot of long defense/survival/farming runs and during those loooong runs sometimes someone needs to take a break. Getting kicked during that break would suck.
For defense and mobile defense: People love to ignore the objectives and go camp the enemy spawn. Give cryopods an aura that affects a certain range (should be reasonable). If you are within that range, you get full XP for kills,,,If you are out of bounds, then you get reduced XP (50%?, 25%?). A more extreme measure should be mod/resource drop rate: If you are outside of that range, anything that you kill will have a reduced chance of dropping mods and resources.
For mobile defense, the same could be done: If you are not in the same room as the terminal/cryopod then you get reduced XP/mods/resources.
As it was mentioned in a post above, you could even force everyone to stay in the same room as the objective, otherwise the timer wouldn't go down (for MB).
For Spy missions: Make the extraction timer go down with only one datamass on the site. As it stands, even if 3 people with 3 datamasses are on the extraction site, the timer won't start. This leads to huge trolling and abuse. If every datamass was removed from the consoles that's enough.
When one of those datamasses reaches the exit, the timer should start.
You could even remove the datamasses as a physical object entirely: When you hack a console to access the info inside you are given an aura (like what happens with Capture) that contains the info. The ENTIRE team gets that aura when someone hacks a console, meaning you don't need eveyone to start the timer.
For general issues: Reputation system. You can rank your party after the mission ends. Leechers and general douchebags will eventually get awful ratings...With awful ratings, you get lower priority with matchmaking, meaning it will get harder for them to get matches. And when they do get matches, they are paired with people of similar rating.
Make sure people can't downvote a lot to prevent abuse.
DE needs to start addressing these issues...

It would be nice to have slightly more challenging hacking puzzles...as of now, they are just a nuissance.
Even nicer would be different types of puzzles/minigames for each faction.

Woohoo!
I'm hoping they show bows some love!
I wouldn't mind if they buffed the Braton/Lato Vandal as well :D
