If the weapon is that important to you why don't you just join a clan for the event and then leave when you've got what you wanted? The solution here is simple yet you're still arguing about it?

If you hate socialising that much (in a game seemingly made for teamwork and comradery) just don't talk to them and wait out getting the Ignis wraith.

It's literally just a weapon I'm not sure why you're so mad - you can kill things just as easily with other weapons too.

He stated in his rant that he really loves the ignis. That's why. Biased from the get go.

Kinda hard to when you are being selfish yourself, to the point you ignore your previous arguments.

Elaborate? This entire time, I've been giving you examples as to why you're a selfish little muck for wanting something changed because it's inconvenient for you, while you've blatantly ignored the possible wishes of other people. When have I 'ignored my previous arguments'?

Because it is both optional and has no gameplay impact, it is "fluff". Next you're going to ask why do we have to pay money for cosmetics.

By that logic, why do you buy cosmetics? Why don't you buy guns instead?

Please please PLEASE look up the word subjective. Try and view past your own perceptions. oh, and btw, if you're going to say cosmetics are optional, technically, each weapon you use is optional too. For example, you don't NEED to use the ignis wraith. It's optional. Or primaries. Or secondaries. You could just exclusively own melee weapons.

Also, what sequence of logic led to "Next you're going to ask why do we have to pay money for cosmetics". Where did that come from?

Why don't I buy guns over cosmetics? Because cosmetics have more gameplay impact to ME. THAT's the beauty of subjectivity. I'm too heartbroken to play if I look like a homeless wreck(unless it's intentional!), it'll negatively affect my gameplay ;o!

By the way, I hope you don't think the examples I've been giving are a reflection of how I play. Just trying to make you see how selfish this whole thing is.

Not it wouldn't be since cosmetics have no gameplay value, Ignis is a weapon and has impact in the game.

Fashion frame in the end costs and should cost money or a LOT of effort (PvP rewards) since they are COSMETICS.

There's no double standard because the things we are talking about are completely different, a cosmetic has different value than a weapon gameplaywise.

Utterly subjective. If this weapon has that big a gameplay impact for you, all the more work you should do to obtain it.

Whereas, one could argue that a cosmetic without 'gameplay impact'(my fashionframe is utterly hurt and offended by the insinuation) should be more readily attainable, after all, there's no use gameplay wise, doesn't really affect much, why should I work so hard to get it? Shouldn't it be easier to get?

You can have that and not deprive other players of stuff that has gameplay impact.

They could have put the cosmetics as the clan reward instead of a WEAPON that has gameplay value.

You can please both sides without alienating one of them.

What if I reaaally wanted those cosmetics over the Ignis Wraith?

Wouldn't it then be unfair to me, that I have to score an obscene amount of points for my cosmetics?

    Double standards.

As for your argument about gameplay value, one could argue they might prefer fashionframe over a weapon ;o!

Thats the problem. Try re-reading the OP... They mentioned that people were completely ignoring allies that went down. And no, I don't rush the missions, I try and stick near allies to be there if one of them goes down as well as collect the loot drops in the area. You are actually capable of rushing the mission by assisting the party to move ahead rapidly without abandoning them. If I wanted to rush a mission in that way Id play solo, which I do often. In teams I play with the team in mind.

I'd assumed he meant the rushers were ignoring the people who went down O_o. Though, the occasional person who ignores a nearby downed Tenno has ALWAYS been a part of this game, too. I suppose people don't think it matters very much, now that we have free revives.

There is a pretty significant difference between rushing a mission and utterly ignoring the rest of the team.

you're going to have to elaborate on that, i can't wrap my head around that concept.

Don't rushing the mission ahead of everyone and ignoring the rest of the team often go hand-in-hand?

If you're not rushing and instead, following near your squadmates, do you ignore the rest of the team by what, not reviving them?

  8. I've been around nearish the release of Banshee and Saryn, and I have no idea what you're talking about.

Warframe has ALWAYS been about rushing, unfortunately. If you get left in the dirt, you have to learn to keep up. If you want to socialize, do it OUTSIDE of missions.

That's what relays and region chat are for, right?

Squad chat should be used to communicate things pertaining to the mission itself, and most people at this point, quite frankly, don't need to type to others to finish the mission.

  9. I honestly can't believe people agree with this.

You already get free revives. SIX of them, at 90 stacks. You're more than likely never going to burn through all 6 in a quick amount of time unless you hang around gajillion hour survivals.

You want QoL? This isn't QoL.

This is trying to MILK a frame.

Losing your stacks below 15 without benefit is INTENTIONAL, it's to PUNISH YOU. And why shouldn't you be punished?

FIFY. That's what we really want. The Hema is the mistake, the REAL problem is that DE will somehow consider it acceptable

If the Hema actually becomes cheaper, that's basically automatic confirmation that DE learned their lesson

directly from le devstream 85 overview,

    "

    Hema Resource Costs

For those not in the know, the Hema is a Clan-researched weapon that was requires a lot of Mutagen Samples to obtain. After listening to all of the community feedback on this issue, we are leaving the cost as-is, but we’ll be revisiting how Mutagen is accessed overall in drops.

We do want to continue the trend of making the odd weapon require some hunting at launch, especially for Clan Tech, but we will be cognisant to not go this extreme in the future."

take their word for it or don't, the non-constructive DE bashing won't change a thing

  11. I noticed that after using Slash Dash, you lose all momentum and you just start dropping. I am unsure if this is intentional, but seeing as how the Excalibur revisit video shows Slash Dash flinging someone farther than in-game without the loss of momentum, it is most likely not intentional. If it's any help, I tried with Natural Talent on and without Natural Talent, and it made no difference.

  12. Dear Devs,

Since the removal of this frame, many have been wondering when he'll ever be coming back to Prime Warframes lineup.  Since he was only available to those who bought the Founders pack--and this extends to the weapons available at the time--i.e. those that had the money to get him.  But for those that didn't have the money to get the Founders pack are wondering when Excalibur Prime will be able to be acquired in game--and by extension the Lato Prime and the Skana Prime.  When should we expect these Prime items to ever be put into the game, i.e. to be acquired as mission loot, again.

    Sincerely,

Your friendly neighborhood Warframe Player, a.k.a Arihi

P.S. The Prime is strong with this one!

Is this your plan to lock the discussion thread? Excalibur Prime won't be coming back any time soon, due to legal obligations.

  13. Trial and error.

Insufficient information for these kinds of things is so prevalent in Warframe it's hard to believe they intend otherwise. However, I've yet to encounter a point where it actually isn't their intention to not provide you with information. Whether it's a bad design or not, if the raid didn't give you enough information then most of the rest of the game didn't as well, and I don't think that will be changing soon.

The Law of Retribution was admittedly, a misstep on the way to glory. It highlighted the main points of end game play - CC. Which no one likes, because pressing the 4 button is enough. Though, this is DE's first raid. In time, maybe the Law of Retribution will be tweaked, and the future raids will have learned the do's and don'ts to satisfy a broader part of the community.

The Warframe checklists are very real, and it's quite distinguishable which Warframe is suited for end-game and beginners. Though, if DE found a way to balance a Warframe's health and shields versus the end game kind of enemy damage, I think it would make the "Warframe checklist" obsolete. Year of quality better step up its game.

  14. Once DE makes a Tactical Alert fairly challenging, all the people who complain about it being too difficult come out to complain

Whenever DE makes an easy mission, all the toxic veterans come out complaining about how it was too easy and DE's going downhill.

This is DE, every which way they progress v

After testing the Juggernaut's survivability in the Simulacrum, it seems mainly like this was to dissuade long Orokin Derelict Survival or Orokin Derelict Defense runs. Though, if this could get the ancient healer buff, may as well shoot my dog instead.

  15. Great, a thread stating which sides you think should have been part of the event. Because the world revolves around you, everyone else is bored of the Corpus. Right. Also, what would the infested do? Start intelligently flying to Uranus to stop the possible way to save partially infected organisms? What would the Grineer do? Blow up the labs saying "I like my genetic deterioration, thanks."?
