  1. Just had my support ticket closed. Apparently Warframe will automatically block IP ranges if it detects malicious files being sent from those ranges. Everyone here may want to scan their machines for malware. If you share a network with many other people, you may just have to wait until whoever got infected cleans/completely breaks their machine. Watch out for technocytes.

  2. I'll throw my account into the ring too, I guess. "Update failed! the content servers are temporarily unavailable. The update will be restarted shortly..." If the Twitch streams are anything to go by, then this message must be innacurate.

I've been trying every "fix" I've found on the internet for the past two days, and still haven't found a solution. I've tried reinstalling, changing proxy settings, getting a new IP, verifying/deleting the cache, changing my download region on steam, giving sweeping permissions for Warframe through Windows Firewall, and using the mobile hotspot trick that was suggested in this thread.

So far, only the mobile hotspot thing has made a difference, at which point I stop getting the message about the content servers, but the launcher gets stuck on either "checking for updates" or "verifying the cache". I actually got the game to launch once (through wireless hotspot), but then couldn't log in (I think this was the login bug that recently got fixed). Regardless, I can't afford to play Warframe on mobile data.

So, my hunch is that its something wrong with my local network, but I have no idea why that would just suddenly happen right after a hotfix (it was working fine up until Friday, 11/10/2017), and I currently have no issues playing any other online game. I don't have access to the router, since I have to share it with everyone who lives in my building. Here's hoping that something can be done serverside. If anyone at DE sees this, an acknowledgement of the issue would be appreciated since it looks like this isn't limited to one person.

EDIT: For the people who are still having trouble, make sure to look at this thread. Still didn't work for me, but there has a few more things to try.
