  1. Hi guys.

I don't know if this has been posted before, but I thought I would mention something that I've noticed about Ember Prime since I acquired her recently.

The alternative Ember helmets do not want to copy the main frame colours. I use Ember Prime's default colours, but have changed her energy colour only.

This happens with both Arcane Backdraft and Arcane Phoenix helmets.

I get the same problem with the Asita Rakta Syandana. It also does not want to copy the Ember Prime main frame colours. The Steel Meridian faction syandana, however, executes the frame main colour copying perfectly.

A third discrepancy is concerning the customization of the Red Veil Assassin Back Sigil. After making positional changes on the back sigil and navigating away, the back sigil jumps back to the default position when selecting that Ember Prime appearance preset again.

Thanks again for your great work with this game. It keeps getting better and better. It has become something very impressive and remains a lot of fun to play.

  2. "Sons of Thunder" is 'n klein, maar ervare groepie wat deur 2 vriendelike Boere broers beman word. Ons soek tans nuwe lede meestal vanweë die feit dat hierdie nuwe "Raid" missies meer spelers benodig. Ons is beide ervare spelers met sterk wapentuig en verskeie warframes.

Voordat jy verder gaan, of weggaan, oorweeg eers die volgende:

Ons gaan nie later 'n groter "clan" word nie.

Ons is nie op soek na tieners om lede te wees nie. 21+ (as ek 'n Beach Boys of L.O. broekie joke wil maak, moet iemand darem weet waarvan ek fokken praat, jy weet.)

As dit jou pakkie sop is, kyk elders.

Gewoonlik vanaf 20:30 saans.

    "Who comes with the thunder?"

  3. I really like the look, feel and effect of the grinlock rifle. It is one of my favorites.

There is however one thing that always catches my attention when I take it for a spin: The game often registers missed shots when I really feel (and sometimes know) that the shot should have hit.

Now, before you grill me on my accuracy..

I enjoy the hitscan type of firearms the most of all and have more than 1000 hours of doing mainly that. Thus, I am not commenting on the weapon's accuracy statistic, but on actual performance when I am shooting at stuff. The anomaly also seems to occur completely randomly but regularly.

I was just wondering if anybody else have noticed this? Or perhaps it's just me after all...

Keep up the good work DE! This game just keeps getting better and better.

  4. I heard Stalker was too afraid to send John a death mark after he finished off Phorid.

You are on the right track, but it turns out there is more...

Recently acquired Intel suggests John Prodman killed Phorid to draw out the Stalker.

My trustworthy sources inside the well known "Steel Meridian" faction revealed that John's twin sister was killed by a carelessly loosed Dread arrow while on a routine maintenance mission to Europa. Tenno familiar with the Dread bow will know of the terrible piercing injuries inflicted by this cruel weapon.

This tragic accident occurred in the Naamah sector at the compound usually patrolled by the Raptor prototype. John and his sister were well-known visitors in the far-flung settlement because of their warmth and kind-hearted encounters with the local community.

Eye-witnesses told of a sudden infiltration force consisting of several Tenno sweeping through the compound seemingly intent on only destroying the powerful predator drone. A dark swirling mist was also later observed in the "safe room" on CCTV.

Standard evacuation and concealment protocols for female Corpus personnel were executed with the usual swiftness, but not before Laura Prodman was split in half by a single arrow destined to send her brother on a furious path of vengeance.

Corpus High Command have called on John Prodman to return to his assigned post, but they also fear sending crewmen regulars to round him up. Those nearest to him spoke of a strange look, a troubling glint in his eyes. One that they had not seen before...

It is believed by some that the lone prodman is on a collision course with the Stalker that will take him into the Void, the Hellspace, and back. It is also rumored that female Corpus personnel have started a campaign of defiance and anger. It is thought in some circles that the tragic death of Laura Prodman will unleash female Corpus warriors into the ongoing battle for control over the solar system. For too long it has been forgotten that behind every slayed Crewman stands a Corpuswoman...

  5. Hi guys.

First of all...Update 15 is pure awesome. Thanks a lot DE! Warframe is getting to be better and better all the time. Great work. Something special has been achieved with this title.

I thought I would give some feedback on the new Directional Melee. I am finding that I cannot do a downward groundslam melee attack anymore. I used to heavily use a vaulting forward somersault and groundslam melee movement. It was very cool and a great way to close the gap and go toe-to-toe with a heavy enemy unit.

The same movement now yields the angled melee lunge in the cursor direction, which kind of feels "limp wristed". I cannot even seem to perform a stationary jump and groundslam anymore. Although I like the directional melee swipe while in the air, I would rather choose to still have the authoritative and kickass downward groundslam attack. I do not know if both is possible to have in the game at the same time, but I sure hope groundslam can make a comeback!

    Pretty please?

    Peace.

  6. Hallo Einde.

Vauban is not my main warframe, but I must admit that he is a lot of fun to play. The Booben really does allow a different playing style from "Tank", "Support", "Caster" and "DPS". He is one of those warframes which teaches the user more of the game itself, if that makes any sense! Playing Vauban (after acquiring him at last!) helped me to also find more "time" during gameplay and gunfights. Of course, this also helps me to better understand and appreciate what other Vauban user's are trying to do when I play other frames. To me, this is the best part of trying and learning new warframes.

There are a lot of nice ideas in this thread, but I tend to favour the side advocating no change to Vauban. If I were pressed to suggest a change to his powers, and specifically Bastille, it would be the following:

Perhaps Bastille could be more of an AOE prison or pen, allowing peeps to enter but not leave, with no quantity limit. The "prison" has a duration and of course allows damage in, but not out.

That's my two cents worth. See you around.

  7. Hi guys.

I hope that I am not duplicating feedback that have already been given, but here goes anyways. I just checked the latest update and fixes descriptions and it does not seem to have been addressed.

When carrying either Nikana or Dragon Nikana, my character exhibits a stutter in the forward roll animation. This occurs right at the end of the roll animation, just as the character moves into the upright position again. A big, noticeable pause happens every time a roll is performed. This really breaks fluid motion in combat and mobility.

I cannot think that it could be deliberate for the Nikana? This only happens when carrying the Nikana or Dragon Nikana into a mission. It sure feels like a bug and I hope that it can be fixed.

Thank you DE for making a great videogame. Still playing after many, many hours...Top notch.

  8. Stealth changes had me confused a bit. Excaliber started moving like an old man and here I thought it was a nagging Hobbled Key injury. What...unannounced changes to my Maggie! Eeek! EEeeeeK!

DE lays down proc = Pelitzarri stunned.

Thanks Steve and keep up the good work. This game still rocks more and more.Thank you for the network connection improvements!

  9. Great job, Tenno!

The community really rocked this event! We might have forgotten exactly who we are, but damn, we remember how to fight...

Thanks DE for being so generous with the in-game profitability of this event. The credits, the resources, the nightmarish napalm, the electrostatic and the worthwhile rewards! It was more than I expected. The event was very enjoyable, despite the technical difficulties that occurred. Please don't mind the complainers and discontents, they clearly lose sight of the fact that Warframe is already a quality co-op shooter with weekly expansion, feedback and updates...for free! Love you guys!

I don't trust that Alad V...he may have been beaten back on Mars, but I have a distinct feeling that there is more to this than meets the eye...oh, wait #@!

Aaah, the Gradivus Dilemma, revealer of Tenno Honour and Dishonour, Greedy Milk, Grineer Speech Impedance and the Unranked Lotus. Good times...

  10. Hallo Armored-raven! I will look for you in the region chat and send you a friend invite. Thanks for searching and answering. I'll be in touch. I play most evenings from 20:30 onwards...

Also look for my brother "Barrieros". We play Europe server, ports 4950-4951, on a wireless network service provider. We'll be glad of any active players, nevermind rank, skill or equipment. Talk soon.

    Cheers.

  11. Thank you, Scott!

Keep up the good work. I love this game and the way that it keeps growing. I think people have a hard time realizing that you guys can literally do what you want with it... Now that is exciting! No limits, right. (Love the RPG bits that are surfacing.)

DE is doing a great job with your community awareness and the way in which you communicate with us. I, for one, greatly appreciate it. Even experienced gamers have not had that from developers or publishers, ever. My brother always mentions the fact that the stuff from the community feedback could be vastly beneficial to your work. All the ideas and valuable feedback, for free. I am pleased to see you mention this in your post. Kudos.

I remain excited about and interested in Warframe after almost 400 hours. My wife, of course, now hates all video games more than ever! Rest in the knowledge of the fact that you had a part in that..'chuckle'. Keeping the glorious escape alive.

Warframe, thus far, is a sleek and classy co-op shooter and, not to mention, loads of fun. Keep doing what your doing with it.

    Regards,

A 34 year-old working father of 5 and dedicated Mag user!

  12. The "Sons of Thunder" are looking for mature players to join our very small, but active, ghost clan.

Our membership currently consist of 3 players. The current members are very active and experienced. 300+ hours. Among us are RHINO, NOVA, SARYN, MAG, VOLT and ASH.

Our dojo is not yet complete, but contains all clan research labs. We do not want to progress beyond 10 members.

We would prefer mature, South African or Israeli players to join our clan.

The "Sons of Thunder" choose to support each other in missions, while exploring and looting all areas. Tactical squad play and the elimination of all enemies are our preferred approach. New players are welcome.

Who comes with the thunder? ZABDAI !!

  13. Hi guys.

I just wanted to comment on the names and phrases that are used in Warframe. I refer to all weapon, warframe, mod and power names. The people responsible for this are doing a great job and should be thanked and encouraged.

I love words and really appreciate what DE is doing with the quality and creativity of the words used. Good on you. It lends a real top-notch, superior feel to Warframe.

    Carry on creating!

  14. Great idea Nazgul! Please consider this Digital Extremes team!

These are brilliant ideas for the dojo. A personal chamber or room would be awesome. Perhaps it could feature a wall section where event insignias, achievement badges and your owned, personalized weapons could be displayed for bragging rights. One should be able to have your in-game alias on the entrance or door. Guests to your room may view, but not change settings and decorations. Achievement badges could perhaps follow a military style, like rank bars and medals, with a short description when you point your cursor over it? Achievements need not follow the style of others games, but could include cool Warframe-unique achievements like:

Soloing the Derelict Golem or other epic bosses.

Reaching certain mastery levels or kills with no platinum purchased.

Obstacle course within an extreme time limit.

A ridiculous number of kills in one mission.

Recognition for weapon accuracy, teammate revives etc.

Killing a vast total number of enemies with your warframe powers eg. "Poison Prowess" or "Magnetic Mangler."

The people at DE are a creative bunch, i'm sure they could include many Warframe-unique achievement ideas. And we will love them all!

Thank you DE for making an awesome videogame and spreading the joy. All success with this project!
