  1. The main problem I had getting his systems is getting a group to do it. The defection mission takes too long and offers very little in rewards. On top of that noone seems to know how to do defection properly, noone stays where they are supposed to, and AFKers are a real problem. Overall it is a massive pain. At least the mission for nidus was a decent method of getting relics, the defection mission rewards are too diluted to be good for much of anything except harrow.

Harrow is pretty fun though :)

  2. Heiracon, daily sorties, maroos weekly mission, melting down duplicate mods, raids (they have an increased chance for ayatans). I have heard that it's good to run the Rathuum arena, but I haven't done it before and I know it takes an organized group.

  3. I love my 1 punch atlas, I just wish his punch as able to lock into all targets. And jordas is fine if you have a decent archwing weapon that isn't the fluctus.

Vay hek is my least favorite boss, cuz energy drain, invincibility phases, and he WON'T STAY STILL

sorry guys you are all right, after all that grind yesterday my brain was #*($%%@ up :>

The grind can drive anyone crazy. I know I was going nuts during the harrow farm. Sometimes feels like the game is against you, but you must sacrifice yourself to the fires of the RNG gods, and even then they may not be satiated.

You just made that up. Nobody said that. Nobody said anything close to that. That's damn near a lie.

Nearly everyone who has spoken in favor of changing self-damage has only asked that it be reduced so that players can not insta-kill themselves anymore. That's it, a reduction, a tweak. They want a compromise that keeps the consequences but allows for the player to make a mistake or two. It's a perfectly reasonable request.

I did ask that self-damage be completely removed from thrown melee weapons, but that was more because of the kind of weapon they are than anything else. They are not a launcher, nor are they so powerful that they need self-damage to balance them out, it's overkill and unnecessary. It's also kind of a bug with punch-through and shouldn't even be happening in the first place.

No, no they don't. Where the f*** are you people getting this from?

What we want is something besides...

"press [A] to insta-die because the railing you're trying to shoot over is higher than you thought"

    or

"press [A] to fire at the ene-*teammate walks in front of you*-your dead now, RIP"

We want the ability to f*** up every now and then without getting instantly killed. That's pretty much it. We don't want to run around firing at enemies point-blank all the time; but we do want to be able to survive if, while firing at enemies, something happens to jump out right in front of us. Warframe is too chaotic and fast paced for self-OHKOs, they are excessively punishing. Self-damage does make sense and should stay, it just shouldn't equal instant death.

This is what I was thinking. It isn't fun to use a weapon that punishes you for making a mistake. Take any other weapon for example. Are you actively hurt for using the weapon inefficiently? No, there aren't any other weapons that punish you for that. You just don't use it well and your damage output is reduced. Launchers punish the player just for using them with instant self-death from events that are sometimes outside the player's control (looking at you ally who decides to stand near me when I use the ignis).

And beyond it not being fun, using a weapon that can constantly kill you breaks the flow of the game. Almost the entire combat experience in warframe is it's fluidity, and there is a weapon type that s actively fighting against that flow.

Self damage should still be there, but just be reduced. Not because it punishes people who need to "get gud", but because it breaks the flow and punishes the player for events outside their control.

  6. Void containers are also a good option. Also gets you a bunch of other good mods that you will want like vital sense, ravage, flow, continuity, etc. Here is a video that is fairly useful for knowing which containers are good to farm, cuz not all void containers drop mods.

  7. I suggest just taking a break. And don't set a "I'll stop playing for X amount of days and see if I am interested again", even though it's tempting to do that. Just take a break, play some other games that you have been wanting to. If you feel that itch again, then you can come back and enjoy the game. If you don't, then your still playing games you enjoy outside Warframe so there's no harm.

  8. I change my favorites pretty regularly. A few months ago I was all about excal, then volt, then nova, etc. But here are my currents

Favorite Damage Dealer: Atlas. It's equinox for defense/mobile defense, but for pretty much everything else I am loving 1 punch atlas. I know he isn't very good but it's hard to argue with punching an enemy to the moon.

Favorite CC: Nova - Her 4 offers some of the best CC in the game while also doubling your damage output with all weapons.

Favorite Support: Oberon - Primary reason for this is that I got bored of Trinity. Trinity is amazing and I love her in a support or tank roll, but Oberon has a different style of play that I am enjoying. Also turning off healers is very nice

Overall Favorite: Frost. Frost has always been a favorite. He can just do about everything I need him to. He can tank, he can AOE DPS, he can CC, he can defend a point. He just does anything you really need and does it really well.

Least Favorite: This is really hard to answer. I had to stop writing this and open the game to look at my frames to see if there are any I dislike. I rather enjoy playing on all warframes, so I had to pick one that is just...unpleasant, and that's Ash. His 4 makes me feel sick when I activate it. He works and can still be fun, but that animation makes me feel sick if I watch it the whole way through and if I'm not watching the animation and looking at something else...why am I playing?

  9. Hello. I'm 28 and have been playing warframe for about 8 months now. Started on PS4 and moved to PC. I joined a clan and was with them for about 4 months. I logged on last Thursday and found out I had been kicked with no warning, which was especially strange because I play the game on a daily basis. In the end I decided it was a good chance to move on since I didn't really know any of the clan members, so I am looking for a new home.

I am pretty quiet, but really enjoy helping people out. It is one of the things I really enjoy doing in Warframe. I know how hard it is to farm for certain things (especially if you don't know where or what your looking for), so helping people through that struggle is pretty nice.

  10. Still running into this, but even more!

So I used my controller all the way to the end of the fight (struggling). On the last 2 guardians, I was somehow unable to go back to my warframe. So...I tried the keyboard command for it. Still no dice, just does the returning animation and doesn't go back into my frame. I even tried to die as the operator and it just instantly sets me to full health.

But it gets better! I take out the 2 guardians as the operator cause I'm immortal. Then the fight with teshin happens. He throws out his stun disc and it stuns me. Me hits me, I "die". But I can't move. I'm stuck. I try to press esc to go online and look it up. I can't do that either. My game became completely unresponsive. So I closed it down and I'll be going back to it later.

Probably try just using mouse and keyboard for the quest and then avoid using the abilities ever again until they fix it.
