Here's an idea: Instead of walking into the extraction drop-ship from planetoids, we could add some action to them! How about running and jumping off the platform into a graceful swan dive, then rolling mid-flight to land on our backs flat in the extractor pod? This would add a degree of cinematics to those disgraceful fleeing exits amidst a hail of gunfire, as well. There's just this weird disconnect at the moment between "Oh sh** I'm being shot run run r--walking into the pod now. S'all good." I think a diving exit would both fix the disconnect and create a great action-closing shot.

Ever since Vauban's pieces were announced, people have been in a state of outrage, which has fallen into a lull. I feel that this lull is unjustified, as it has become quite apparent that the drop rate for our poor friend Vauban is absolutely atrocious, AND directly opposite what DE has stated on the matter, as seen here: https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/45024-may-15th-hot-feedback-topics/

A quick glance over the Alerts Twitter Feed shows quite blatantly that there have been a miniscule amount of Vauban drops, while there have been at LEAST seven potato drops. This is in DIRECT contradiction to the words of DE. Do I think they lied to us? Maybe. Do I think they planned Vauban's drops poorly? Definitely. There was no reason whatsoever to hide him within the Alert system. As anyone who grinded for Banshee will tell you, it's not just "spend five hours and grind her out," like Rebecca seems to think it is here: https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/45023-update-8-coming-soon-vauban-coming-sooner/page-6#entry449937
I strongly suggest changing Vauban to Raid, Capture, and Defense, exactly like Banshee. This is a fairly massive issue for anyone who has been browsing the forums for a while. Vauban is a bigger debacle than The Glaive, because it's on-top-of the already existing error of The Glaive.
In conclusion, DE, you may wish to re-evaluate your stance on this. I understand that you guys need money, but I think YOU should understand that some people cannot pay $100 every few months for content, and that said people would appreciate not being completely shafted.

I personally think clans would be a lot more apt to standing around talking/afking in the Dojo if they didn't think they were going to miss an alert. Maybe add a floating holographic solar-map to the center of the default room, or some such? And definitely add the standard Alert UI to the top-left, with "Z"'s current default menu making it clickable. Something like that.

Well, for one thing, their plan ain't evil. I don't know of many people who have enough plat to buy a potato but not a slot. For another, once someone *coughs* has played enough to fill all their slots, they're usually pretty well enticed into *coughs* spending exorbitant amounts of money.

This is a terrible idea, and I am of the quite firm belief that it would ruin the game. If you feel this strange need for cover-based shooting, go play Deus Ex. It would break combat flow entirely, would cause key-stroke confusion if it was contextual, or would cause movement breakage if it was automatic. You know how Assassin's Creed tends to just randomly hurl you wherever the little toddler that is your character happens to look? Imagine that, but while being shot at, and without the benefit of there being buildings everywhere to latch onto.

Just gonna say that Region chat is pretty much a cesspool at this point. No one on the design council ever intentionally goes on it - in fact, it's become a running joke that staring at it for too long will boil your eyes and melt your face a la Indiana Jones.

I don't play with people. Ever. I like the idea of solo players having a hideout and private smithy instead of having to play with others. To be perfectly honest, I hate playing with people. I enjoy the challenge of having no safety-net. I enjoy getting hog the kills. I don't want to be limited for playing the game in a way the devs have enabled, if not entirely intended.

i think he spawns at a random point on the map and hunts you down. if you dont run into for so long maybe he just bails out?
I ended up fleeing from him entirely in one mission. He appeared and slash-dashed me, but I ducked around a corner and fled. He never caught up to me.

I honestly thought the mods were auto-marked with a waypoint. I didn't know people were manually doing that.
Tap G to drop a waypoint, and for the love of god, do it on mods. Please, PLEASE do it on mods.

Oh my god that was an adrenaline rush.
I was in a Grineer capture mission - E Prime on Earth. As I went into the bottom level of the capture chamber, I got the Stalker's messages. Apparently he attacks for Golem's death now too. Anyway...
I got all three messages in quick succession. I proceeded into the capture spawn chamber, grabbed the guy, and started fleeing. As I went down the stairs, the lights flickered, he spawned, and slash-dashed me. He MISSED. As I fled I jumped every time each little Powerfist teleported to me, but I kept running, and never stopped moving. He never came for me again. I made it to the extraction in record time, alive and uninjured.
My question is, will he strike again?
