The Tenno/Warframes borne of "regret and retribution" kind of fits what I was aiming at with "angels of death." In that and mind you I am a total noob to the lore of Warframe, but it seems that the "perfect utopian" world/ galaxy gone bad required a "cleanup crew" and the way the Orokin sound, they come across as arrogant to the extreme with a very low view of anything not Orokin. Creating gene-spliced, genetic clones for menial labor and lower tier thinking smacks of arrogance. the "Gold-Kin/ Family" even sought to exterminate the Children of the 10-zero because they didn't fit into their Grand Designs...now those Children are striking back with a vengeance.

yeah, I am still a little unsure if they truly were so against all of it because in some cases they seem to be ones pushing for it. maybe perhaps the rejections are the failures that do not meet their standards, cast aside as abominations but when it is successful/to there liking they change there tune. this would further add to the concept of hypocrisy.

Ah yes, i was squinting my eyes the whole time reading. No, not because it feels intense, just a dark theme user here.

All in all, i find theories connected to the 7 deadly sins to be generic at best. It is way too overused in like, books, games, movies, series, plays, you name it. Good theory nonetheless, but still

the concept overall could be considered cliche as you stated it is used a lot or even perhaps overused in stories.

In my interpretation, the creation of the warframes were borne of regret, atonement, and retribution.

    I can see that.

    in my original statement,

I would also even considered the warframes and tenno to be the judgment and execution for the orokin empire only to turn on the Orikin to judge their hypocrisy. They may have even been awaken to purge/balence the system of the rot that the Orokin empire left in the wake of it’s demise. I also seem to notice that these themes to be backed up by a lot of the recent prime warframe trailers. Most notably Oberon Prime (greed), Banshee Prime (Wrath), Vauban Prime (Lust). In addition i hear usage of words like Sin, Judgement, proverbs, cleanse, laws.

I was stating more of the view that the Orokin saw the tenno more as tools. furthermore, the "atonement, and retribution " you mentioned could support what I said about they could have been awakened to cleanse/purge/balance the origin system. at least that is one of my theories.

I think you misunderstood those trailers.

How do you figure, I believe that they are open for interpretation. I never once said that this is 100% the gospel truth I was simply stating a theory and some of the themes I noticed. you may not see it the same way but that does not make anyone any more wrong or right.

Not really fitting to label warframes like that. They're more recognized as symbols on their own right. Excalibur is Valor. Valkyr is Rage. Loki is Cunning.

I was just simply drawing connections to the prime teaser trailers and some of the VO matching a lot of the themes that I specified.

  6. The Sins of the Orokin empire and how each enemy faction embodies that trait. I believe Orokin empire to operate much like a theocratic empire with it’s fair shares of hypocrisy.

The Corpus represent Greed and Lust for control It represents the Orkin's quest for more using mechanical augmentation, robotics and AI.

The Grineer represent vainglory the usage of Cloning/genetic manipulation to achieve youth and eternal life.

The Infested represent  Gluttony an all-consuming hunger to devour all in its path, it also can represent the wrath though the usage of warfare using a parasitic virus.

The Sentient represent pride the desire to spread there empire and influence beyond the origin system.

First I want to set the background and provide some theories that might help connect corpus, the Orokin, sentinels, and sentients. the maintainers, early engineers, scientist(possibly the pre-corpus) of Orokin empire helped develop sentinels and eventually the sentients. The sentients were terraforming machines created by the orokin empire. they later gained sentients when leaving the system only to return and turn on the Orokin.

“The Corpus are a merchant cult, built on the foundation of salvaged technology and robotics. They scavenge the outer systems, greedy for the Old War salvage.”

Given all this, I would not even be surprised if some of the high officials are Orokin saw the downfall and joined the corpus ensuring survival and financial success.

All that said, I think as closely the corpus may be tied to the Orokin it might not be all that lore breaking to have warframes that are corpus themed IE, Vauban Prime, Helios Prime, ect. Furthermore, I would not mind seeing a more support/buff engineer themed frame that uses damaging drones/turrets and buff stations. I know Vauban is an engineer but the playstyle would be different.  You could even have a Perrin Sequence quest for the frame that covers the story of the progenitor of sentinels, sentients and the birth of the corpus.

  8. Bugs:

Right after a previous match was ended because the eidolon bugged out and turned invisible, yes we did have lures. the following run we took him down to his last phase and killed him when "surprise mother f****r" poof he flat out vanished/despawned I don't really know. we had about 5 mins to daytime and normally when that happens he walks to the lake and gets eaten by the big blue light.

    Rant:

Humor aside, I really want to love this update but It has been exceedingly frustrating the number of bugs and glitches this update has. This update also sets a bad example for all the new players this update brought. if my first experience with warframe was the Plains of EIdolon update and with all bugs and glitches I would probably quit or wait a while before coming back if at all. I do appreciate DE for working hard with the hotfixes though. I have no idea why this update was released in such a half-baked fashion. well DE you now have an example of something released too early (PoE) and something that took too long to release The War Within. I hope this will better help you with your release schedule and quality assurance of future updates.

People have been suggesting the baits are meant to be thrown where you see water splashing.  Haven't had a chance to test this out for myself.

i will give it a shot but i am not  hopeful.  honestly it feels like it has a .99% chance now it has a 1.8%

  10. I one of the hotfixes today they said that the bait for specific fish should spawn the fish they are for. either i am not doing it right or it still has not been fixed. I was fishing for the Murkray along the coast of the ocean. I tossed in some bait no murkray, tossed another no murkray, tossed another few more about 10 in total no murkray, then i tossed in 3 at a time and 2 twilight bait for good measure. nothing there were some fish spawning but no muckrays. the spawn rate of fish, in general, still not seems to not be improved by bait. at least in my experience.
