  1. I've actually had some very nice cooperative experiences with pub groups where during the game we'll agree that part of the group will go on ahead to take care of the portal while one or more stays behind to raid the cahces, so that we can complete the mission quickly and still get everything.  I understand though that these experiences aren't the norm, if the fact that someone felt the need to make this thread wasn't evidence enough.

I don't really know if there's any way for the devs to enforce strangers to cooperate, and while there might be ideas that are worth trying they need to be careful not to do it in a half-baked or annoyingly limiting way.  Ultimately I think finding good cooperation is more about the personalities of the people you play with and less about game mechanics.  My suggestion if you want better teams to work with is to try joining a clan, joining groups in the Recruiting chat tab, playing with friends, or finding buddies to play with on these forums or Region chat tab or Steam groups or whatever other communities you're a part of that have Warframe players.

  2. I kind of like this bug, at least in the Liset, because I always flip up the ramp to get back to the navigation console quickly and the banging noise just adds to the hilarity of bouncing around my ship like a madman.

I have a feeling it happens because the game doesn't differentiate between enemies and moving entities like the Liset ramp when it decides whether to make the punchy noise for when you hit something with a flying kick.

I won't complain if it gets fixed but I sure will miss giggling at the sound of banging and clanging off the walls of my ship as I flip out like a kid who had too much sugar.

  3. When are PC users going to be able to play and get live fee from the PS4 users?

I'm guessing if that happens it'll be when the game is out of beta and doesn't get updates as frequently.  From what I understand the main thing stopping them now is that they can release PC updates whenever they want, but any time they want to update PS4 version they have to send it to Sony and wait for them to do their thing.  So the versions between PC and PS4 are pretty much constantly mismatched due to how often they release updates.

  4. no stealth kills bonus, so no it isn't a loki, is a slightly faster heavy unit which kinda ignores damage.

It's not slightly faster.  Rhino Prime with Vanguard helmet and a Rush mod becomes one of the fastest frames in the game, only slightly beaten out by Loki with a similar setup.  That's completely ridiculous for the game's main "tank" frame.

  5. We know it’s being discussed in our community, and when Dev has no plans at this time to revisit older Primes at this time.

Looks like someone's brains got a little jumbled as they were trying to type this.

  6. Fun is entirely subjective. And while the best prizes do trend higher, Survival and Defense, clearly prizes are not everything as Mobile Defense and Exterminate both generally do better than invasions while offering less reward.

That's true.  I was speaking somewhat from personal experience, I've ran a good deal of survivals that boiled down to a group standing around a capsule spamming Rhino Stomp, Molecular Prime, and Desecrate nonstop until finally someone says "I'm tired of this, let's extract at the next 5 minute mark."  All we were doing was waiting for rewards.  That's not to say I haven't had fun times on survival, and I know my personal experience is a biased standpoint to base statements like that on.

Regarding the want for more exploration, I would suggest adding a (better) reward at the end of one or two of those pathway branches that nobody goes down that the lotus doesn't detect (or finds optional) that you can find to increase your mission credit reward by a substantial amount or some special blueprints for something that can only be found that way, possibly add some parkour vaults like in the void to get to them.

Exploration is always a good thing to me.  Just something as simple as having uncommon and rare resources be "weighted" so that they're very likely to show up in containers that aren't on the main path could do a lot to encourage more exploring and raiding of the ship/outpost rather than just blitzing through it as fast as you can.  Of course expanding on this would be even better; changing map generation to be less linear, addition of "secret/treasure room" tiles, maybe even a rare chance for levels to spawn really nice stuff hidden somewhere like blueprints, parts for special Grineer/Corpus weapons or whatever.  Definitely agree on incentives for exploration.

  7. I think the problem a lot of people have with interception is that it's hard as hell to beat without a team of high-level frames with strong weapons, yet it's on the 3rd planet that most new players will get to as they're unlocking levels and beating Eurasia is required to progress and players who haven't somehow got their hands on good equipment already get destroyed by that mission and can't progress in the game.

  8. Invasions are boring. Now, if they were multi-stage missions, like capture into sabotage into mobile defense into deception and finally assassination. But exterminate? Nightmare Exterminate is more rewarding.

This could certainly be interesting.  Imagine if the "3/5 runs" system for battle pay were done away with, and instead invasions were epic multi-objective missions kind of like "raids" in MMO games, that would require at least an hour of dedication and a full team to complete, but maybe doing one of those would be better than running a short and usually easy mission 5 times.  Objectives could be different too depending on whether you're attacking or defending.

If it were set up like this then it would probably also be better if Invasions were rarer, lasted on the starmap much longer, and generally gave better rewards.  Things could (potentially) get really interesting if the happening of Invasions and maybe even the rewards they give were someday governed or influenced by the "Badlands" and "Proxy Wars" systems instead of straight RNG blarfing all over the starmap.  This could also of course lead to certain clans eating everything though...hence the (potentially)

Solo players wouldn't be happy if they got shafted by this, though.  The idea probably needs adjusting to take that into consideration.

  9. I just joined an ongoing Eurasia game with 2 Excaliburs and a Loki who were still using Bratons and Skanas.  I too had a Loki, albeit max level and heavily modded with some equally heavily modded clan-tech weapons, and they seemed to be having some difficulties when I arrived, so I figured with my high-level frame on a low-level planet I was going to save the day and make this mission a breeze for these new guys.

But alas, it was not to be.  Right away when I joined there were already massive swarms of enemies on all 4 points, and just at a glance I could see 3 leaders in one of those groups.  Even with my Phage being able to take out large groups instantly by sweeping them, it seemed they were just spawning faster than I could kill them, and those damn ice shield leaders kept showing up like every 15 seconds.  I couldn't even place decoys or turn invisible to give myself a small break from the madness, there were energy leech leaders everywhere and all my energy was gone before I could even register in my head what was happening.  Needless to say, the mission failed within about a minute of me joining.

So after seeing that, I really wanted to help these poor guys who were trying to take on that insanity with their starting gear.  We started the mission again, but this time I made sure to bring my heavily modded supercharged Vauban who has carried me and many teammates through some of the worst days of Tower III Defence.  I thought, "If I can solo Tower III Void missions with this bad boy, there's no way this stupid low-level early game mission is going to get the best of me."

I spoke too soon.  Things seemed to be going okay at first, I was able to keep the swarms at bay with my Bastilles, we held onto the points well enough to get to about 40%...I saw one of the Excaliburs go down at the back of the map where points A and B are, so I ran back there to help him.  I tried to throw down a Bastille so that I could safely revive him, only, my energy was suddenly 0 when it was at 170 before I had run over to him.  There were energy leech leaders everywhere, and they were being protected by frost shield leaders, and there were so many enemies on my screen that even on my fairly powerful computer my framerate started chugging.  I couldn't use my powers at all anymore, energy leech leaders were spawning faster than I could kill them and even if I picked up energy orbs it would all be leeched away in the time between picking up the orbs and trying in a panic to press Mouse3.  This eventually led to a situation of us all trying to revive each other as we were repeatedly downed, with no powers to help us.  Not even Medium Team Energy/Health restores I dropped all over the place were doing us any good.  I didn't even have time to blow more than 1 revive before we failed the mission because massive swarms of enemies with various leaders were on all 4 points again.

It pretty much felt just like the fiasco that was going on during the Tethra event.  Are you guys really sure that you fixed these levels?  I've never seen that many leaders spawn in any other mission, and if someone with a rare frame and a set of powerful weapons all stacked with catalysts and reactors and fully leveled rare mods couldn't help a group of low level players beat this supposedly low level mission, I don't know how they're possibly supposed to be able to do it themselves.  Remember too that Eurasia is a level you have to beat in order to continue along the starmap and unlock more planets, so if players hit a snag they can't progress past that early on in the game then they're probably not going to keep playing for long.  I think you guys need to take another look at Earth Interception.

  10. Trinity's godmode makes sense to me, seeing as she's the only dedicated healer frame and it's her most power-intensive ability.

A compromise I certainly wouldn't mind seeing though would be if they replaced the invincibility with a strong health regeneration, and allowed Blessing to "resurrect" downed team mates.  I mean, come on, why do we have a healer who can't res?

  11. Vauban already got his nerf a long time ago.  Bastille has a target limit now, and infested usually show up in sufficient amounts to bypass it unless you blow all your energy throwing several of them down.  Vortex can somewhat trivialise infested with smart placement and tactics, but it's energy intensive and doesn't really have as much "bang for your buck" as a lot of other frame's 4-ultimates that cover much larger areas.

Vanguard Rhino sucks.  Especially now that they made the weird decision to have Rhino Prime be faster than normal Rhino.  I can't remember the last time I joined a squad that didn't have a Vanguard Rhino rushing ahead of everyone and failing to kill enemies with their stomps.  Plus it makes him look like a rat.  Worst of all, people actually complain at me for wearing the Thrak helmet now, like building the tank frame for tanking and not for running as fast as I can is a bad thing.

Excalibur, Ash, and any other frame with a melee-based power ought to get the same treatment that Valkyr did, that is, make powers such as Slash Dash and Blade Storm be affected by your melee weapon and the mods on it so that we can have some of that sweet scalability everyone always begs for.
