I would love to merge my completely unrelated PS and PC accounts, but given what I have read in the forums here it seems linking would wipe my PS account instead of merging it with my PC account, because I did the PC to Switch clone when DE created FOMO by stating it would be unlikely to ever be possible again after the initial wave ...

    I originally started playing on PS, but switched to PC after ~200 hours of always having to wait for new content longer on console (that was WAY back in the day, around Trinity Prime Access). I never touched the cloned Switch account again after the novelty wore off after a few days and would gladly have it wiped if it meant being able to merge my PC and PS accounts.

    The DMG is WAY too low though.

    It is not fixed.

    I just tried Centaur and Prisma Veritux again.

    Prisma Veritux locks and tracks correctly, but it was never broken.

    Centaur does not work and instead swings in place.

    I have been an avid Warframe player for some time. And have spent countless hours trying to progress and build myself as a player in order to be on par with some of your older Warframe players. I respect DE for their ambition, but it seems that instead of working on the core mechanics of the game, and addressing already pre-existing issues such as host migrations, DE has rolled out an unfinished update. It is common knowledge that with every update there are bugs, and with the amount of players and server activity, bugs can and will happen. To me this adversely affects the overall player experience. Considering this is a free to play game, I commend DE. The graphics, story line, quests, and available options with how you want to build your character are great. However, there is not a solid tutorial for newer players struggling to understand the mechanics. And considering the money I've spent on the market on plat, over several hundred dollars, and the funds other players have spent since the beginning of Warframe, I do not feel that DE has used this to better the overall quality of the game. This is a common trend in online games that get big. I consider my time spent a waste, and what DE has used players money for as an insult at this point. Grinding in a game is fun. But only to an extent. Between weapons, warframes, companions, standing, bounties, operator, amps, resources, mods, rivens, and now finally Railjack, it seems the game is intended to keep players occupied as opposed to having actual action driven fun. I know I am just one player. And this is just one opinion of many. But I sincerely hope that DE does not make the same mistake other name brand companies make. Listen to your player base. Address bugs effectively. Keep the game fun, instead of a monotonous chore. I have been looking forward to Empyrean for so long, and have spent so much time in this game. And I feel truly let down. And while I could just walk away from the game, I feel that not saying anything would do little for the next player who has the same issues.

    Same here: over 1.8k hours playtime on Steam and over 1k € spent on in-game-items or merchandise over the years. I switched from console to PC in 2016 after having already invested over 200 hours and bought a prime-access and prime-vault package on console. Still I am desperately trying to find a reason not to uninstall the game after this update.

    The root that was planted with the introduction of Rivens in November 2016 has seemingly steered the game in a distasteful direction. The Riven system, the Kuva Lich weapon system and the Empyrean system appear to be designed to be time-sinks and micro-transaction-catalysts. Based on feedback from e.g. dev-streams, the cores of the Riven system and Kuva Lich weapon system are intended to stay as they are. And while the core game-play loop of Empyrean is promising, the update was clearly not ready for release. And now that it was released, I have little hope of it being changed substantially for the better either.

    DE has repeatedly demonstrated to rather apply band-aids (changes that do not solve a problem but make it appear to be less of an issue) to something they already released, instead of implementing fundamental changes to improve the player-experience (e.g. Rivens, Sanctuary Onslaught & Arbitration ability-restrictions and Kuva Lich weapons). It looks like band-aids get added and discussions are had until the vocal majority of the community gets tired enough to shift to the next problem. While DE seems to be willing to completely scrap ideas from their dev-workshops (e.g. damage 3.0), they appear to be gung-ho on achieving the greatest possible accretion when it comes to changes already pushed to their customers.

    I am not telling anyone how to run their company or develop their game. If this direction turns out to be healthy for DE in the long-run, more power to them.

    But I feel alienated.

  4. More bugs:

    • Enemies killed via Slingshot do not count towards the mission objective progress.
    • Using Warframe Abilities while entering a crewship seems to cause different levels and combinations of errors depending on variables I have not yet been able to pinpoint:
      • you may be in a constant falling and resetting loop (as if you get unstuck in free fall multiple times a second)
      • you may be stuck in Archwing movement mode whilst indoors while vigorously treading in the air
      • you may be stuck with your Archwing weapons while indoor
      • your regular weapons may be using your Archwing weapons stats and/or mods
    • May be linked to the above point, but during my last infiltration of mission objectives, the Berserker mod on my melee never triggered and the weapon felt like it was not using its stance mod either.

     

  5. Two instances of mission bugs made completion impossible resulting in over 2 hours of wasted investment.

    1. A host migration caused the reactor objective to be impossible to complete. The mission instructions said to destroy the second reactor (by the railjack team) but it was invulnerable. Inside team had nothing to interact with anymore.

    2. The often reported 3/4 crewship blocker, where no additional crewships would spawn, rendering the completion of the mission impossible.

  6. The whole grind would be a little less irritating if there was some mechanic to prevent people from blocking other's Lichs from spawning.
    My confirmation bias makes it feel like more than half of the missions I run, during which Lich's spawn, there is at least one person not taking care of their Lich.
    In turn, they prevent the Lichs of other party members from spawning.

    Some potential solutions worth thinking about:

    • Have Lichs de-spawn (read: leave because they are getting bored) if they get downed a number of times in a row (e.g. 5-times) without the mercy mechanic being used.
    • Have Lichs de-spawn if their adversary is not interacting with them (dealing or being dealt damage) for a certain amount of time (e.g. 30 seconds).
    • Have Lichs presence disable extraction such that their adversary has to interact with them to finish the mission.

    So it seems like the two most recent packs (Trinity and weapon bundle) don't work in migration or redemption. I think the further implication is that none of the Twitch Prime items were intended to migrate at all.

    Which is not about the issue of this thread. This thread is about the weapon bundle not being redeemed for fresh switch accounts, with fresh twitch accounts. Nothing about migration.

  8. TL;DR: Please don't release content > wait a few hours, letting people buy it > announce a sale for said content for the next day

    What happened:

    @ 9:38 PM - 23 Nov 2017 CET - Twitter announcement of Tenno Reinforcements > bought the new Syrinx Armor, did my sorties and went to bed

    5 hours later @ 2:29 AM - 24 Nov 2017 CET - Twitter announcement of Great Fashion Sale > after getting up and reading through this during breakfast, I realize the order of announcements made it so people would buy the armor full price, then get told a few hours later, they could have gotten it 25% off, just waiting for a day.

    What should have happened:

    Announce such things either together or the other way around, or even just exclude the newest reinforcements. That way the people supporting your company don't feel cheated, even though it was probably just and honest oversight.

    I am still happy and grateful about the announcement and the content itself! Keep up the good work :thumbup:

  9. This will sound obvious, but I presume most people would appreciate a launch on Friday/Saturday given the duration of 10 days.

    That would give us a chance to participate at two weekends.

    I don’t even get to do my daily sorties during the week these days. Knowing I would get more than two days to potentially participate and support my clan would take some pressure off. 

  10. Here ist a list of bugs I have encountered regarding this topic, in just one day/night cycle:

    Build: 2017.10.13.14

    Mission Starting

    • Matchmaking puts you into squads with people not actually having an active bounty, even though you explicitly started one before going to the gates
    • You select the bounty, it is displayed as selected in the top left of the ui, but once you enter the doors there is no active bounty

    Progression

    • Escort drone not spawning
    • Bounty randomly failing because 1 out of 4 people "left the area"
    • The "vault" not opening after defending it, after the countdown is complete and lotus as well as the UI asks us to "enter the vault"
    • No enemies spawning after destroying the second supply drop in the "destroy their supplies" bounty stage, resulting in running around in the bounty area for 2 minutes, only for the stage to fail because there were no more enemies to kill to trigger the last supply drop

    Side note: I hope the 90% ist just confirmation bias.

    False alarm. There just came up an Infested Outbreak Invasion with Mutagen Mass as Battle Pay.

     

    It appears that since Hotfix 21.7.1 Mutagen Mass has been removed from the Invasion Battle Pay tables.

    I have seen no Infested invasion since, offering any Mutagen Mass. Only Fieldrons and Detonite Injectors.
