  1. Zenurik is the best school right now bar none. Turns out having S#&$ loads of energy regen on your frame and your operator is amazing. Also the effects of (even after the "focus smash") a large percentage of the focus abilities are piddly in comparison to a warframes abilities. So ineffective I'd say they're a waste of focus points and most importantly your time. Most of the focus nodes. that aren't passives, are simply worse versions of warframe abilities and are barely as effective. I don't see how currently any of the focus abilities would be better than using a maximized warframe ability, shooting someone in the face with a badass gun, or cutting anything and everything to ribbons with a melee. The waybounds are mostly worth it. Naramon's Mind Sprint makes your child fast as hell. Vazarin gives them more health so they don't evaporate (as fast). Zenurik gives you a massive energy pool and very strong energy regen on your kid. Madurai strictly is improvements to your amps.  Unairu is still pretty worthless. In conclusion, bad damage and bad cc from your space child's abilities (not passives and waybounds) is a waste of focus points and time.

  2. Okay now I know what you're thinking. Magma Nyx what the f*** could that possibly be? Well buddy, let me tell ya, Magma Nyx is the product of beasting Infested with the War and Assimilate whilst also having an Ember teammate. Magma Nyx is impenetrable Magma Nyx can never die. Magma Nyx is the true endgame of Warframe. Anyway, enough with the banter; I know what you really want. You want screenshots. Proof of the legend that is the Fabled Magma Tortoise. If that's what you want, I WILL deliver.

I was overjoyed when I was first struck with Magma Nyx's godlike presence. It was a complete honor to have played her, but alas, she is gone. The Zenurik energy siphon passive was too alluring for after my Operator returned to her Liset, Magma Nyx was no more. Truly a sad day; the kind of day that the only thing you want to do is lie in wake and eat nothing but PBJ sandwiches. The world is a lesser place now, without Magma Nyx. However, my comrades assured me that one day, I will see her again. Although, I am filled with melancholy, the hope that Magma Nyx will return conquers those feelings and replaces them with excitement, happiness, and most importantly MOTHER F***ING MAGMAAAAAA!

Awesome right? Anyway, I hope anyone who took a look at this enjoyed. I know I certainly was having an absolute whale of a time. My War is even colored correctly to match Magma Nyx. Also, BONUS IMAGE!!

  3. Generally, it can be found, that when something is changed within this game, someone is unhappy. Now we can assume since pleasing everyone cannot be done you've got to do something that will appease most of the public. In the case of that Mesa change, I joined a game after that and this one guy was severely upset over the fact that he had to point to aim Peacemaker. Now, since that was one game out of 100, he was the odd one out that was unhappy. So I'd say most of the public was pleased or okay with the changes. Now Saryn, which brings me to one my points, I was actually pretty excited to try it out. I liked Saryn's destroy everything, up to a certain level of course, play style. Speedrunning missions or just doing low level missions with friends was what made Saryn one of my most played frames. When I heard of the rework, I thought that it'd be pretty cool to have a frame that I already liked be brought into higher level missions, however, now that I've explored the revisit, I can say it's most definitely not what I expected. Honestly, I could tell from just the Patch Notes provided and the in game stats that she was not going to be capable of the damage she once did. Like really? I thought someone at DE told Rebecca that Saryn was too good? She used to be capable of 13,000 Corrosive damage in .75 seconds. The damage displayed in the In game menu at 261% power strength shows 913.5 points of damage. Now if we use her as she is sort of intended to be used now, which I honestly think is kind of strange (DE Steve and Scott have said they want to diversify builds yet you basically rework Saryn so she can be played one way, anyway,) if Saryn casts Spore and detonates it and you have both Toxin and Viral procs active, Saryn's Miasma receives that 200% damage bonus... but that's only around 2600 damage... which is like 20% of the damage she used to do... and, if that slight reduction in damage isn't enough, you've casted two abilities and tried to aim for those Spores. So essentially you've take 10 times as much time to do 20% of the damage you before could do in .75 seconds. So, yah. Kinda meh. I see what DE was going for but honestly I don't know how this got past actually testing. Another thing, I think the reason Limbo is an outcast in Waframe, sry Limbo Lovers, is because the whole synergy thing is approached totally wrong in this game. Moves that are intended to be used in correlation with each other SHOULD NOT cost the same amount as abilities that work well by themselves. If we are to combo there either should be a HUGE payoff for doing said combo or it should not be difficult to combo repeatedly without energy pizzas. The reason some of the most popular frames are also the best frames is because they have that one ability that works really well (except for Loki, who is a god, LOKI MASTER RACE):: Nyx has Chaos, Nova has Molecular Prime, Mesa has Peacemaker, Banshee has Sonar. All those abilities work really well by themselves. Honestly, my thoughts for Saryn's rework didn't involve changing Miasma's former damage at all, I thought that she was being reworked so she could be taken into T4 missions and such with all those juicy Spore damage boosts. Anyway, back to my original posts point (kind of just kept typing and couldn't stop) it can be seen from Region chat, Trade chat, In game chat with Saryn users, Forum posts, and even my cellphone text message inbox that most of the public is not as pleased with the rework as they were hoped to be. I appreciate what DE was going for but I do feel that they got stuck on on idea of comboing abilities into Miasma to increase damage too much. I honestly think this rework should be reverted and then they should go back to the drawing board or actually make Saryn good by providing her combos with the damage they deserve. As a Saryn user, I'm kind of saddened by the minimal amount of damage she does now. She went from being good at low to mid-level content to being barely able to pump out 20% of the death she used to deal. In short, The new revisit needs a revisit. Thank you anyone who read. Please spread the word of me and everyone else in this forum post that makes valid points.

Holy crap this looked a lot smaller when it was in that rectangle.

*Edit - Upon further testing by myself and being shown the light by Flare_Eyes. I've come to the conclusion. That my above statement is BALOGNA! I JUST DECIMATED A T4 SURVIVAL GOT LIKE 1200 KILLS AND WAS JUST LIKE WAT THE WHOLE TIME. In all seriousness though, I probably wasn't using it right but still I think It's strange that Scott and Steve said they want to diversify builds but this is the only way she works. Anyway, she's pretty good. Taking on T4 no sweat. I'm good.

  4. Suggestions:

-Spores need to be a Cone or AoE cast; one target is useless

-Spores need to spread with every tic

-Her 3 needs to apply to ranged weapons as well as melee. If I want to make things dead up close, I have three other frames, any of which does the job FAR, FAR better than Saryn (even Atlas) and a fourth who has a 50% chance of freezing anyone who touches him.

-NONE of her abilities should cost more than 50 damage as a base cost. If you're going to force "Synergy" (aka, remarkable levels of inefficiency) then at least lower energy costs. Otherwise, Make Miasma useful on its own once more.

-Give Miasma back Corrosive. IF you do all of the above, you can even have Miasm deal Toxic damage, and only deal corrosive to enemies who were already toxic. But ONLY if Spores cast as AoE or Cone and spread more often and more easily. And pop on their own.

-Also, no more damage over time. Yours is a horde mode game. Waiting for enemies to die means I may as well bring a frame that does not depend on killing them in a blink, like Nyx, instead.

I'd just like to say that this man is doing the lords work and makes some excellent points. I really hope a Saryn lover at DE reads this and shows it around.
