  1. Well this isn't a bug really, I was just wondering about the need of going to the codex and the shop, back and forth checking if you mastered the weapon, frame, etc.

Last time I checked a player couldn't get Rank EXP if you already maxed something on the codex and you bought one once more to level it up.

So I was thinking, wouldn't that issue be alleviated a lot simply by putting the laurel symbol on a corner of the weapon or what not you are trying to buy?

    Simple and elegant solution (probably).

  2. Ok, I'm starting to feel like it's time to uninstall and quit this game. It feels like a waste of time if their company can't fix a problem without even addressing it on the launcher or the main site making us know that they are doing something.

Its Time for a Single Player System, look at Dark Souls. Server Problems? pff Play Solo. i don´t unterstand why De this not doing. Its realy Time for it. All Events have Problems. With a Single Mod on Console we have the possibilities to play without Network, and with a good kombi, the item Transfer to online is no Problem. Cheaters? Pff Shop must not Work in offline Mode, and with a 4 Player Offline Mode we have all Doors open to a low Problem Server ....and a Future Play when De close the Doors.

Because if it's offline, you have to still connect to update your information to their servers. Which means that they also have no control over what malicious activity you do, in other words... Let's say you earned 1000 credits in the mission, but you somehow managed to add 2 or 3 zeros to the information you sent their servers when you update your account and get 1000000 credits instead.

And that's why pretty much every important component of any game is server sided, like the HP or MP pool on MMORPGs, etc.

Well, that's my best guess of why the solo missions will never be designed to work offline.

  4. I had the same issues. Since I was practically new, I tried a bunch of things, including uninstalling it from Steam and using the main site download instead, resetting my pc, modem, etc... In the end I tried going to the main website (which was down like the game) using a proxy with an US IP adress.... It connected without issues.

If the mods are investigating this problem, maybe it is based on some sort of regional connectivity issues and the Warframe servers, or something like that, I have no idea. But I hope this information is useful for future patches. (The other programs using my connection worked fine, so I also know that it isn't my ISP provider, nor my PC, files,  etc)

Dark sector was released in March 25, 2008, the Phantasy star online has been out since Dec 21, 2000. Phantasy star online 2 is obviously the successor. So actually you're a bit wrong there. However having said that a lot of games are similar in certain ways, that doesn't mean DE was inspired by PSO 2 though, but you never know.

Actually, Phantasy Star, the original games came out on 1987 for the SEGA: http://phantasystar.wikia.com/wiki/Phantasy_Star

Considering the original Warframe concept (aka Dark Sector) released circa 2000's (4+ years before Phantasy Star Online 2), I'd say no.

Well there are the original Phantasy Online games though which are hell of a lot older, but I think I'll go check out Dark Sector, it kinda interested me. Thanks for the info~

  7. Am I imagining things or is Warframe sort of inspired by Phantasy Star Online 2? (Without the anime artstyle and the random mid-mission cake shops)
I just found out that there's also some sort of war against the destiny players which I had no idea since I'm not really into many FPS games.
