What exactly do you mean by corruption? I am a bit confused here. I have had no problems with my frames or weapons.
My rank 30 warframes or weapons file get corrupted. What happens is the they are actually still rank 30 when I am in a mission, but when I enter the arsenal it shows my frames or weapons as unranked. Therefore it stays stuck as unrank forever. Worse for me is risking my Prime when playing.
Plus when I end a mission the weapon or frame disappears from the list I will post a picture later on.

Dev need to work on something, when ending a mission if we players skill right before ending the game may cause a corruption to warframes and weapons. It has happen to me the second time, also I think selling warframes and weapons should allow us to reclaim the orokin reactor or catalyst. Because of this file corruption I've no choice but to sell my warframe with a orokin reactor inside + today my Hek got corrupted with a orokin catalyst inside.

I updated my game and the launcher says I'm updated, however when I enter the game I get a notification saying I need to update.

Too many post so lets stick with the logic long sword not as strong as axe; but it is faster than an axe.
Devs logic in my opinion gram got laser at the edge giving it plasma burn damage...

Its most definitely a preference of gun. I ran my Boltor last night and was actually not as happy with it as I once was. Now that I have the Hek and Gorgon fully leveled and modded the way I like my Boltor just sits for now.
On the pistol side of things however I can't find anything better than my AKBolto for use. Just my opinion and I will be trying the Bronco soon as suggested above to see. The Afuris is to much of a ammo hog to build it past 15 for me.

So you get to Silver Initiate and build the Boltor and run it all the way up to level, then you make Gold Initiate and build the Gorgon (never looking back at the boltor) and run it all the way up to level, then you make Initiate and build the Hek (never looking back at the Gorgon/Boltor) and run all the way up to level, but beyond that there is nothing.
I reached Siver Initiate (level 5) and was looking but saw not level locked weapon to build and run. I personally think there should be something at each of these main levels as I found the first 3 to be awesome. Granted I have a few other waepons to build and complete to 30 but think it would be cool nonetheless to have something at each main level.

Some possible solutions;
- An option to reprocess mods for resources - Warframe mods give rubedo, weapon mods give alloys (and both have a small chance to turn up a random 'rare' mat, neurodes or a control module etc). The yield amount depends on the quality of the mod (whites 5-10, greens 10-20, blues 20-30). This gives the player a choice of turning unwanted mods into cash or resources, whichever is needed at the time.
- Give rubedo and alloys a small chance to drop in any mission, anywhere. Won't stop people farming the hotspots where it drops more commonly, but perhaps a new player will have some built up in the bank by the time that shiny blueprint drops. Since everything in the world seems to be made out of these two things, it makes sense you'd find them all over.
- Make boxes containing 50-100 rubedo or alloys and add them to alert and login bonus reward lists. If possible, use them to replace the +weaponxp rewards. Then take the +weaponxp rewards out behind some bins and club them to death with a spoon.
- Add resource booster consumables and artifacts.
- Make all bosses drop rubedo where they would otherwise drop the regional uncommon mat. So, bosses would either drop a bp, a rare, or rubedo - running a boss is never a total waste of time.
- Don't add boxes of rubedo to the store for plat only. That's more of an anti-suggestion, but it's probably the most important one.
As Mak_Gohae has mention it is rather fair you know.
I recommend farm at infested it is easier for excaliburs and others. Weapon to use is melee.
