    For example, one of the Ember Archetypes might be more burst-damage focused, so the Unique Focus Augment might change your World on Fire ability to create a miniature sun that grows by dealing fire damage within its area (or just casting your fire abilities into it) and make it collapse on a second casting, bursting outward as a supernova. It shouldn't be inherently more powerful or anything, just different to suit the different type of playstyle.

    Ultimately, it'll be easier for them to add 1-2 more variants for every power (and how the Augments might interact with those powers) than to keep generating infinite warframes. At a certain point, I guess it'll also be easier for them to make male and female variants of every frame too, so Fashion Frame can be twice as diverse XD But that's a topic for a different thread

  3. the only good thing nekros "the new master of death" has for himself is desecrate and that was dropped abit.... isn't death meant to be a destroyer not a scarecrow... all shadows of the dead is a corn field to hide in and terrify is just scaring birds away from your corn field he is no master of death... i hate to say it but if your going give something a title like death make sure they live up to it because its an insult to something that comes for us all...

    and Shadows of the dead is like hiding in a corn field trying not to get hit so how i see it at this point that he is a scarecrow not death

    Shadow of the Dead is a slap on the face. Used only to provide immortality. Well. Nerf it. Make it a powerful spell. Like. I kill 4 Roketeers lvl 80... New enemies come, I summon a full fleet, 2 shielders, 4 Rocketeers and some random enemies... MY shadows start cowering and missing their shots. They cant dish out 2% of the dmg of the enemy i killed.
    They die too easy. They aren't a pressence, they are a nuisance. Fear is good on Nekros. Its a solid CC. And Despoil too. But his theme is totally wrong.

    Look at Loki- he plays tricks, he sneaks and controls. Every skill plays into the theme.

    Rhino- a tank of unstoppable force. He rams and stomps. Great theme to skill ratio

    Ivara- a frog like huntress that stalks- Plethora of unique utilities, Steal, Epic Hunting Bow- Great theme to skill ratio

    Ash- Ninja Samurai Assassin- every skill plays into this- he jumps and cuts, dazzes with smoke and slaughters the whole rooms. S:T 1:1

    Frost: He freezes stuff! Great!

    Ember: She burns stuff! Greater!

    Volt- He Zaps stuff! Awesome

    Nova- Molecules, atom splitting, planet shifting power- AWeSOME! S:T:2:1

    Vauban- What the hell is Vauban? Rename to Trapper

    Nekros- Oooh spooky scary... nah I am just a drop makers u guys have fun... Bad theme to skill ratio. Pathetic

    Zephyr : People hate me more then enemy. I do nothing!!! Literaly Nothing!

    And many many more.


    There are quite a few thematicaly/cool frames. But there are quite some that are pretty weak. Feel unneeded. When we have few that dominate.
     

    well said about nekros he needs to be a killer not a frame that one minute let me carst this to give your team time to do stuff no to me he is meant

DE design their warframes with four abilities to be used together and in balance with the other existing frames, there is both a lore and a game balance reason for never letting a warframe be able to hot-swap an ability from a different frame.     If you have ever experienced the fun and frolicks of a Mirage and Synoid Simulor combo, you may understand why being able to give her Frost's Snow Globe, or Rhino's Iron Skin would be a bad idea, or vice-versa being able to give a frame like Loki the ability to have Hall of Mirrors. Another might be giving Excalibur Bladestorm instead of his Exalted Blade to make use of the Blind+Slash Proc combo, or any hundred little glitch tactics that could exploit massive damage combos.

    There would be an impossible amount of balancing to do, and that's not even touching the lore of the game (where the overall shape and construction of a warframe is what channels void energy into having a specific effect).

    So, as fun as it would be, we already have players managing to exploit the game with the single-frame abilities we have now, let's not complicate things further.

    i see that .. its just im split when i have one frame that all most has no good offensive and a mediocre defense and then i got one with one grate move and i just want that move on the frame i love the look of and has one move that i have on all the time .. but there no helping it maybe just wait untill they have some thing that suits me but i will be wait forever for that to happen ..... and thank you for your input ..

  7. would you like to switch one warframe abilities for a different abilities you can only switch one out at a time.. so no one plays the same and add a crazy mix to how you normally play warframe it would be nice to see something like this in game..                                 i know this wont happen but i would like to see every ones point of view and i would like to see if DE would test some thing like this out

    i do but i dont so we will start nurfing every thing so its on the same level as the weakest stuff and then there will be no problem cos everything will be the same i think it would be fun red critting every thing .. but my goal in a game is to have fun not to make my self the best of the best everyone and everything is different

They generate a good number of mods that are unusable because the negative effects outwight the positive ones, or the positive effects dont have any impact on the given weapon. So far you can generate mods with +/- weapon recoil for weapons that dont have any recoil, you can generate +/- mag size on weapons that dont have mags or puncture/slash/impact damage on weapons that are pure elemental. On top of that most weapons have a clear direction they should be modded into to be effective, resulting in only a handfull riven mods being actually useable.

    i see your and its a good point but ive see people say nurf this and nurf that and that will set more people off in the long run
