[The Berserker, As It Should Be]

I love the berserker class so this is DO WANT to me <3 and the synergistic way the skills work somehow makes me happy. I regret I have but only one +1 to give.

I love this idea. Love death lasso too. that would have to be my favorite power. it seems so useful :3

 

One idea for a gunslinger type power that came to mind while reading this;

 

Draw! When used increases the weapon swap speed, fire rate, and projectile speed for everyone in range for x seconds.  (Maybe gun damage too?)

 

Love the frame <3 and if it does come out, ill be one of the first in line to play it.

[Mag 9.8: Feedback Thread]

I recently (update 9.8) leveled Mag to 30 and thought I would give my thoughts on her as well.

 

Pull:

Very, very strong. With stretch, plus her +range helm, its area of effect is just huge. I was hitting enemies in other rooms easily with it. While it was a lot of fun at first to just kill everything in the room with a few presses of 1, it quickly became a bit boring as I would just walk into a room and spam it until everything died. A very strong 1 skill. No longer the controlling skill it was, but that could be left for her other skills.

 

Shield Polarize:

Mostly I used it to support my team and heal the cryopod. It was pretty funny to melt corpus with it though. No real opinion here, worked as advertised.

 

Bullet Attractor:

The double damage was a very nice touch, but as some others have said, it is a bit expensive to use on most enemies. It made killing heavies so easy when it was used, but again, like many have said, the damage it does is kinda low when it explodes. Maybe the damage could be, as others have suggested, changed by how much damage it took, or maybe its damage could be a % of the enemies health? Overall, a skill I found very useful for heavies and bosses. It made them easy targets that went down fast. Bullet attractor stacking with Molecular Prime was almost OP, almost making me feel sorry for the bosses. A note about it though; Bullet Attractor + stretch + range helm = one HUGE bubble. A nice large bubble that made it easy for the newer players in my group to find high priority targets.

 

Crush:

Crush... I really cant say a lot of good things about it. The best use I found for it was to control a large crowd while someone else revived. Loved the new sound effects for it though. As it is, its not really worth using unless you need to control a bunch of enemies, or kill a bunch of weak ones. reading the description to it, "magnetizing her enemies bones" made it sound like its missing out on some powerful debuffing. My thoughts on Crush, maybe remove or reduce the damage, or just make it a % of an enemies current health. useful at full health, not so good after one cast. Then give it a debuff or two. Magnetizing and crushing somethings bones sounds to me like they would move slower, attack slower, maybe even do less damage, or have less armor. I would imagine it would be hard to hit your target with broken bones too.

 

TL;DR

Pull is strong.

Shield Polarize and Bullet Attractor were useful

Crush needs work

Mag is fun and I enjoyed leveling her.

 

Anyway, thats my experiance with Mag over the last week or so. Shes certainly a whole new frame since I started playing (back in update 8)

 

  PS.

Small idea I had about pull while writing this; Mag could fire a small magnetic ball (vauban style grenade? magnetic orb, swirling ball of gravitational goodness?) at an object (wall, floor, crate, enemy? I admit, i would laugh seeing a bunch of enemies clump together like that suddenly) that would in one strong pulse, pull all enemies toward that spot. Enemies get bunched up and no one gets a toxic ancient in their face.

[Update Failures]

Its hotfix 8.1.3

 

The launcher tries to connect to download the update and just sits there. It times out and then retries.

I redownloaded the game, tried turning off firewalls, as well as other solutions I've seen on the forums. All with no results :(

 

Trying to change any settings in the launcher just makes it crash so I don't know what to do :( I really enjoy Warframe and I would like to play the event this weekend but I'm worried now that I'll miss it.

 

EDIT:Tried a few more things. Clean install. that didn't work at first, but then I read about someone resetting their router and it worked. So I did that and I was able to connect and download all the updates. I don't know how that did it or if DE fixed it, either way, I'm glad its working again :D
