  1. I personally dislike it, because I'll have stuff to trade, and no one will come. Then, all of a sudden someone comes and I get happy! And it's some idiot asking "Do you have ______?" or "Do you have any spare plat??" That needs to be fixed, but it really can't.

  2. So, ya know how during the Plague Star mission when you ask Konzu about the Infestation? He talks about a ship one of his relatives was on selling stuff, and got over taken by the Infested, and is still floating around Eris. Well, this quest is about locating the ship, and finding Konzu's relative and the others on board.

So it starts off by, of course, talking to Konzu. He tells you about what happened but more in depth.

You return to your Orbiter, and The Lotus sends you a transmission. She talks about checking the ship in case anyone is aboard still. You get a blueprint of a machine that can locate humans among Infestation. The materials are 500 Nano Spores, 200 Plastids, 1 Neurode, and 1 Neural Sensor. It costs 500 Credits to build. The Lotus detects people aboard the ship Saxis. You go there and if you get close to the people, the machine will make a ping noise. After you get 100 meters away from them, there's an explosion. It's a Grineer pod filled with soldiers. And there's a noticeably larger pod with Lech Kril inside. You must defeat him and his troops before you can reach the humans. After you get Kril's health below 50%, humans come out with salvaged Corpus guns. (Infested Flux Rifles and Deras. Some Provas.) After you kill Kril, they invite you to their hideout. When you enter, you realize that it's not really a hideout. It's like the Mycona colony. They've lived there for 5-10 cycles, and have expanded. You ask around to find Konzu's relative, and you find him. You explain to him that Konzu strongly misses them and they must go back. He explains that everyone there is connected to the Infestation, and if they leave, they die. And if you kill the Infestation, they'll die to. The only way to save him is to make a cure. You have to go to Ceres and find the base for the cure. You have to search around the node and find it. However, once you find it, everyone's favorite Grineer Councilman, Vay Hek comes and sends his troops to kill you, and get back the cure base. The extraction point is 1000 meters away, so it's pretty far. And also, all of Hek's troops are Marksman, Heavy Gunners, Bombards, and Nox's. After getting out of there, you must create the cure, which uses the Cure Base, 1000 Nano Spores, 2 Neurodes, and 700 Plastids. It costs 1000 Credits to build. After you do that, you must return to the ship and give Konzu's relative the cure. After, you return to Cetus, and find Konzu and his relative talking. Approach him, and speak with him. He gives you 4k (Too much, too little?) standing, and his relative gives you a choice of 3 blueprints. One for the Infested Dera, one for the Infested Flux Rifle, and one for the Infested Supra. (His signature weapon.)

    The End!

    Please leave suggestions below!

    The Sergeant Reworked.

I wish. The Sergeant is such an easy boss fight. I get it's meant to be like that because it's not on a high level planet, but if it could have something else added to it? Like stages or different powers or something.

    okay:

Orokin boss idea: Ancient controller (aka the acncients neural network)

You don't fight the boss directly, but instead you have to fend off waves of ancients while the lotus finds a weakpoint in the network and tells you to hack it, after that the ancients seem to become more irratic, after 2 weak points are destroyed the ancients limp in pain, after the third weakpoint, they all die, completing the mission

That's actually a really good idea. Thanks for contributing.

  5. Okay. So, there are a lot of bosses in this game. But I have some new ideas for bosses and some ideas for Infested/Corrupted bosses.

    Idea 1- Infested Lech Kril

The idea is simple. It's just as the name suggests. Lech Kril but Infested. Of course there has to be a back story behind this idea. Kril was visiting Doctor Tengus and, because he's not a very smart Grineer, he opens a chamber of Infestation, and becomes Infested. He goes on a rampage through the secret base of Doctor Tengus, killing all Grineer in sight. Of course, the elusive Tengus escapes. He doesn't have his own planet, as other bosses do. He just has a side quest where you defeat him, and as a reward, get his Infested hammer. (That's a post for later.)

    Idea 2- Hyena X1

This Hyena is a new model, found by Corpus soldiers in Alad V's lab, after he became Infested. The Corpus engineers did some tweaking, and gave this Hyena every weapon that the previous Hyenas had. (Not a very smart idea, considering that every Hyena model so far has been defeated, but, I mean, they are Corpus...) You can find this boss on Corpus ships, in special rooms. (Planets with level 25+ enemies)

Idea 3- Doctor Tengus, at last!

So, this involves a quest. (Like above, a post for another time. So here's a summary.) You find out where Doctor Tengus's lab has been all along! It's in a MASSIVE Grineer ship, impossibly close to the sun. You get onto the ship, and are surrounded by high level Grineer soldiers. Ordis shoots right at the wall behind them sucking them into space, while you make a hasty retreat into the next room. As you can tell, this explosion lets Tengus know you are there. He sends Grineer soldiers at you until you get to the room where he is. These are the stages.

Stage 1- You fight him on the first platform, until he gets to 50% health.

Stage 2- He jumps up to the second platform, breaks open the windows on the first platform, and turns on the shields so he isn't affected by the atmosphere. As you get to the second platform, thanks to your handy Archwing, he summons his creations, the Grustrag 3, to fight you. After killing them, he jumps back down to the first level, and summons a Grineer-made Archwing.

Stage 3- After you jump down into space to fight him, he brings out his weapons. A Archwing version of the Twin Grakatas and a Jat Kusar. After killing him, you have to fly back into the ship, do a mini sabotage so his ship blows up (along with all his experiments) and then quickly leave after killing as many Grineer soldiers as you can. (This is part of a minigame! You have 3 minutes to get off the ship while trying to kill as many Grineer as possible. 1-50 = 5k Credits ~ 51-100 = 7k Credits & 500 Endo ~ 101- 200 = 10k Credits, 1k Endo and the BP for Tengus's Archwing Grakatas, you can still buy this from the market for 25k credits, but I mean, this is FREE!)

That's all for today! I'll try to get the quest ideas up soon!

  6. Okay, here's how the quest starts.

The Lotus sends you a message to head to a relay. As you leave the loading screen, a cinematic plays. It shows multiple Grineer ships attacking the relay. As you enter the relay, it shakes due to the shots being fired at it. When you enter the main room, all the syndicate leaders are there. (Suda is in a customized Moa, courtesy of Ergo Glast.) They are talking about what is happening.

Cressa says to you, "Tenno, we need your help. The Grineer are attacking the relay, and we don't know why."

Ergo says, "None of the relays' scanners detected the ships in a 1,000 kilometer radius, but then they just popped up and started firing. We have a mission for you Tenno."

"You need to get on to that ship and extract all the data there is. We don't know if they had a cloaking device, but if they did we need to know about it, and anything else we don't know about." Says Suda.

The leader of the Red Veil (Forgot his name, sorry!) says, "After you get all the data, assassinate the captain of the ship and his entire crew. No matter what."

As you leave to go to your Orbiter, Ordis says that killing everyone may not be the best tactic. The Lotus sends a message in your inbox saying to kill the crew, but take the captain to a drop-off point. Along with the message is a blueprint for handcuffs to put the captain in. In order to make these handcuffs you need -

    5000 Alloy Plates : 5 Gallium : 500 Polymer Bundles : 700 Salvage : 1000 Credits

As you enter the ship, Amaryn sends a message saying, "Tenno. These data vaults aren't the ones you are familiar with. They have extra security and a lessened time before the data is deleted."

As you make your way towards the first vault, you get a message from the Lotus. "Tenno, I know you are fond of some of the syndicate leaders, but you cannot tell them about the captain."

When you enter the first vault, you see that Amaryn wasn't lying. There are Grineer soldiers everywhere. After you extract all the data, Cressa sends a message telling you to get ready to kill everyone. Immediately after, the Lotus tells you to remember not to kill the captain. In order to pass the mission, you need to kill 120 enemies. A marker shows up on screen showing you where the bridge of the ship is. As you enter it, you realize capturing the captain will be no small task, especially since the captain is Lech Kril, and his bodyguards are the Grustrag 3. After you kill the Grusrag 3, you need to take down Kril. In order to do that without killing him, you have to wait for him to get to his fire state. When his health is extremely low, you need to void dash through him. This will knock him over and incapacitate him for 15 seconds, which is just enough time to get him in handcuffs.

As you are bringing Kril to the drop-off point for one of the Lotus' operatives to take him the rest of the way, Ergo contacts you. "Tenno? Tenno. What is taking you so long? Oh. We just got information that Lech Kril's bodyguards were the Grustrag 3. Never mind and good job." After you drop Kril off and get back to your Orbiter, you need to bring the data to the relay. As the loading screen disappears, another cinematic plays. It shows the main ship getting shot at by hijacked Grineer vessels, and Cressa was behind it. When you enter the main room of the relay, you give the data to Suda and Ergo. You are told to head back to your Orbiter, and that they will send a message saying what the data is.

When you get back to the ship, the Lotus sends a message. "Tenno. We interrogated Kril and he said that the reason he attacked the relay is because Tenno were aboard. He needed their parts to create a monstrosity of Tenno." The data recieved from the syndicate leaders shows the same thing.

This is my first part of the quest! I'll make a second part soon! Leave your feedback below! Thanks for reading my idea! :heart:

I can't see quest being fun if the difficulty is geared towards new players. Kaiju fighting is fin, but I hope that's not the only PoE content for vets.

I mean, it just gives you something different to do than doing a level, finishing, doing a level, finishing, doing a level, finishing, then building something. It just gives it more, I don't know, depth I guess.

such as treasures that help with tools that can be hunted for instead of the resource grinding.

That's what I'm also excited for, because resource grinding gets old and boring really fast, and I would rather have to do something fun to get whatever the object is, like finishing a quest from a villager, or doing an actual quest.

  9. Okay, so at TennoCon, whether you were there in person or saw it online, they released a trailer for Plains of Eidolon, an open-world area with a colony of people that farm flesh from dormant Orokin Derelicts. So, with this open-world expansion, we will be able to join a group of 4 and go around the plains attacking enemies, including the big monster that spawns at night!  So the part that caught my eye was...

    ~!!Building Your Own Melee!!~

So, the reason I'm so excited for this was that ever since I've started playing this, I've always wanted to have different weapons from everyone else, that were built to my taste. One of the things I've wanted was a Pole-Arm with blades, and now it's possible!

Also, we saw that in the open-world area, you can use Archwings, even if you aren't underwater! I thought this to be exciting because it was so boring just playing with my Archwing underwater or in space, and now I can use it in wherever I want!

Maybe a new quest will come out with this update that has to do with the Plains, or the people who live in the town in general.

Also, Excalibur Umbra, which many people have been excited about, but in my opinion, the Plains of Eidolon is a MUCH better thing for me than Excalibur Umbra.
