  1. I kind of want the opposite. Every time I play a game with my Steam Controller I have to remember to go into big picture and shut it off, letting it shut off on its own isn't enough. If my Steam Controller has been used in like the last hour without doing this I get forced into the gamepad mode for Warframe, which prevents the mouse from interacting with menus and tends to messup my borderless fullscreen setting. I would love to just have a checkbox to NEVER enter gamepad mode...

  2. As a veteran player the majority of the rewards from PoE Bounties are insulting. To new players, the PoE bounty rewards are mostly not worth the time invested and as a result makes bounties feel like a waste of time if you're going for rewards like lenses, Gara, or the new set mods.

So how do we fix this? The answer, is simple, put those items you think are good for new players (piddly amounts of credits, endo, and rare resources) in a reward pool that is drawn from after individual bounty completion steps. This way, bounties are still "rewarding for new players", as they get multiple rolls at items that could be useful for them, and they're not an insult to the rest of the player base. By removing the rewards that are just a slap in the face, the actual end of bounty reward pool will be less diluted and therefore more rewarding. Now, you're probably going to want more filler, and I get it, you don't want specific things being too easy. I hear you. Here's a list of useful rewards to dilute the pool with:

    • PoE Rewards! 5~ uncommon gems. 3~5 uncommon fish drops, A bundle of 20 iridate.
    • Bundles of 500~700 uncommon resources (Polymer Bundles and whatnot). Try to tune this number around what you'd normally get in a 20 minute run of farming specifically for them, maybe toned down a little? The numbers I've given are inaccurate since I haven't done runs for them in a long time and don't know what to expect... though I am in depserate need of quite a few materials now thanks to my permenant residency in Eris.
    • Stance Mods / The new Set Mods. These are good, useful to new players, probably a little too low valued for old players. Thing is, veterans will be like "alright, not having a stance sucks I can see why that's there". Compared to 2k credits where it's just like "You could have spent 5 minutes in a dark sector and got 10-20 times that much"
    • The Rare Pool for lower bounties could have useful mods. %damage mods (Serration + all other variations of it), Warframe Ability Mods (Streamline, Intensify, Continuity, Stretch)
    • I'd personally like to see more Lenses in the pool...

Just anything but this 9 out of 10 bounties give you a pathetic amount of credits thing you have going on...

  3. I've said it before, but DE needs to add all 3 spears to the fishing gear wheel if they want you to be swapping spears based on which fish are in front of you. Risking de-spawns by going back to your weapon so you can swap spears is unintuitive.

  4. Just had the prisoner run 1,000 meters away from the objective to get to Mr. "Sorry I fish, no speak English". The objective spawned not even 50m from where we saved him. The prisoner really needs to follow whoever hacks his collar...

Edit: there's a feedback section, woops.

  5. Revive still does not work for non-hosts as of 17.5.4

Just had a T3 Mobile Defense fail due to the timer hitting 0 on the second defense point and doing nothing. As in, the counter for completed defenses didn't go up AND the case was not dropped.

  6. If it didn't have a cast time, it would be much more effective.

100% added damage to melee is anything but "useless."

This person knows what's wrong with the skill. It would be a solid skill if not for its cast time. To make it usable they need to either increase the duration (double or triple, not a +2 second sort of thing), or remove the cast time. As-is you have to spend like 3 seconds hugging your weapon, and then spend the rest of the duration catching up with your team who are already a room ahead.

  7. Grappling Hooks

Update 9 = Mercury Lore (Vor is dude in PS4 Trailer) and lots of Balance Changes

Balance Changes & Polishing Galore (Update 9; Stated twice intentionally)

Spoiled some set 2 alternate helms, with dangly bits.

    Event this weekend, new artifacts

Artifact system potentially merged with mod system. Still debating if we'll have an Artifact slot, or just using one of the existing mod slots

Ash's ult is getting some new animations

The following frames are being reviewed for balance: Mag, Volt, Rhino, Ember, Ash.

I'm sure there were more, this is what I remember off the top of my head.

  8. I'm sorry, meant free time as in, free time to watch for him and hope he comes up.

It's cool, just wanted to clear up a general misunderstanding that seems to be in this thread, as a whole. Your post was just quoted because of the free time thing, which I get now why you said. What bothers me more is that I see a lot of "you just want Vauban to be easier to get!" when in reality, I just want him to be obtainable in a way that isn't "ignore all of reality, for if you don't you might miss him!".

  9. That's the problem, it's kind of a paywall, unless you pay for vauban GOOD BLOODY LUCK getting him unless you have a ton of free time...

Free time doesn't help. If he was behind some .01% drop grind forever wall it would be better than the current state. It's just a matter of looking at the twitter at the appropriate time (good luck with that), and being able to play.

People don't want Vauban for free, or "on a silver platter" or what have you. They want to be able to obtain him in some manner that isn't the equivalent of buying a slightly older game, or newer "indie" title. Banshee is fine. Why? Because if you want to obtain her, you can set out into the game, play the game, and obtain her. Vauban is not because if you want him, you alt tab to their twitter, see you can't, and then do nothing. All Alert/Login Reward Only in game items are a problem. Because to obtain them, players need to just wait. I can't stress enough that if you have a something that affects game-play that does not involve playing the actual game to obtain that something, then you have a problem.

Could people just pay for Vauban? Yes, and I'm sure many have. But those that would rather not spend that much for 4 abilities are left to ask "so do I choose someone else, or just move on to another game?"

  10. Please, if you want to actually be a "Space Ninja," then feel free to go and suggest alternative methods to go as quick as your button mashing glitch, instead of bluntly and repetitively stating that Warframe will never feel the same. Who knows, they might just listen.

Although, personally, I can clear a giant cavern with a properly placed wall-jump in one second flat. I don't see how you want to go any faster than that.

And you don't see a problem with that, but do with a minor speed boost from sliding?

  11. The problem isn't "Wahh we can't go fast", it's that now sliding is inconsistent. When you hit the slide button, you expect a speed boost. Some times you get it, some times you don't. They apparently added a cooldown, yet there is 0 in game feedback as to when this cooldown is active, what activates it (reread that note, it doesn't say slide causes it, it says certain actions activate it), or whether or not your slide will give you a speed boost, or slow you down to a halt.
