  1. Though this idea is limited by the current way of acquiring certain warframes without paying platinum like Mirage, Limbo, etc, which award the parts and main blueprint from quests. The idea is as follows.

A time attack mode that sees you sending a single warframe, equipped weapons and sentinel on a one-way trip to the Tau system for unique loot. Upon mission start you are attacked by the local sentients and must defend the 'loot ship'. Once the attack has been repelled your task is to use the time allotted to load the ship with the spoils of battle and explore the map for more loot. You periodically must return to the ship to deposit your accumulated loot and defend it from lesser assaults. As time goes on you will lose control of your warframe in the form of transference static till the timer hits zero and the connection is lost. If your warframe is destroyed or time runs out before you return to the 'loot ship' you lose what loot you are carrying and the ship launches and the mission ends. If the ship is destroyed the missions fails and you lose all loot.

    Points to consider:

As you will lose the equipment you send, you are discouraged from sending your favorite\forma'd\lensed stuff.

You have a reason re-craft stuff and save parts. (Like say Oberon whose parts are plentiful and are only used for selling for credits after you make one) This may also see an increase in the number of players running bosses for warframe bits.

You can't use transference. So you can't shoot the sentients with only one damage type, hop out of your warframe, zap away their resistances with void beam or your amp, and continue hitting them with the same stuff. This forces you to bring a varied arsenal of physical and elemental damages.

You are alone and have only 1 life(maybe). This forces you to be tactical, take cover, check your surroundings, and take care not to rush in and get cornered. Rather than relying on your store of lives or teammates to revive you. Also makes arcane revives more appealing.

No ammo drops. The sentients don't use our weapons, as such, their home system won't have the things that the origin system uses like ammo, credits, mods, endo, etc. Watch your ammo reserves and return to your 'loot ship' often for ammo refills. (You could exchange the loot you get for credits and mods perhaps)

  2. With this new BoS update in has become a point, I wish to only be the host in these missions. But it's not just this new mission, there are many times a host migration has happened and it has broke the mission for the others. Also there are times when I'm playing with one of my clanmates, who due to their computer or internet connection needs to start a mission before we join in, and a migration occurs to choose a 'better' host and it drops them specifically. I don't always have friends or clanmates online to team up with so one of us is host, and randoms from recruiting are not a sure thing.
