    no disrespect there.

    in all honesty , it would boost alot if night vision was introduced. since hunting the Eidolon is done during the night.

    currently on some 'dark' maps some areas the torch doesnt even light up. its kinda frustrating to wander in the dark till you see a small light source. or some kind of gear to illuminate an orb of light above you. sure it'll alert the enemies, still its better than bumping into one.

    heat vision on scopes good idea. so does the frame go prone when sniping? lol

    Warframe should stay its own unique way, no dumb mounts

     

    What they should do is make the Archwing thing slightly more synergized though, with an unlimited use, instead of a limited resource amount

    From what i saw, its a new tool you have to craft, probably makes 10, like the air support beacons, but it really should be faster, with an unlimited use instead

     

    Warframes are basically mounts anyways, and they move a whole lot faster than any random cat beast/dragon beast/or "Griffin"

     

    But riding a moa should be added just because it'd be funny, but the moa would move super super slow, just because, like 0.75 sprint speed

     

    just be open to new idea, ppl should just be grumpy and naysayer cause it doesn't fit the game.

    same goes for frame and weapons, ppl tend to say ," atterax is best end game , then galatine p is not good enuff." or whatever is their preference. just want to force their idea of their perfect weapon or frame.

    where's the excitement to go exploring and do fun stuff. ppl just want to get the op frame and press 4 to win.

    every weapon is not gonna be good and not every frame will suit your play style.

    just evolve and adapt. you said space ninja rite?

    what ever DE decides to put in the game. then we'll just play with what ever till something new and fun comes along.

    like the upcoming glass frame.

  4. another concept for mods.

     

    visible effect of some mods on our weapon output.

    like extended mag - weapon mag will be visibly larger or longer.

    or blaze - the weapon will have some sort of flames effect.

    something along the lines where some mods can affect the look of the weapon.

     

     

  5. another interesting ability, would be blood tribute, draining your own health for additional damage/strength/agility boost.

    will be limited by time, drain 50% of health for 100% of boost.

    any action done will drain the boost slowly.

    the ability will not activate when health is 20% or less.

    boost can be replenished as long as there is sufficient health.

    abit similar to inaros scarab armour.

    I don't think impact damage should be something spears deal as primary damage type, if anything it should be puncture-slash, impact is something the shields would deal.

    i do agree, sounds like a fashion frame for the spartan look. get a long cloak sydana. and there you have a "300" spartan.

    But it would be nice to see a spear and shield. since we got the flaming sword and shied, and mace and shield.

    So why not?

    I think playing as a bad guy would be fine because it lends some depth to the game. Right now, you play as the same characters (Warframes) throughout the whole game and treat Grineer and Corpus as cannon fodder the whole time. It would be interesting to play as them for a change, no? Of course, that does somewhat break the continuity of the game, but there are solutions to everything.

    I think it could still work as a regular old Teshin conclave mode because DE would probably spin it as a "simulation". I mean, we can go to the weird floaty cephalon place, right? Surely we can simulate Grineer and Corpus troops, too, I would think.

     

    But then again, I actually really, really like your idea of using this as an alternate way to complete invasions. That would be so much cooler than the whole "run this normal crossfire mission three times in a row!" thing.

    then make the maps larger and include vehicles or allow archwing use. sound like planetside when you think of this.

    The hack for security and data vault only work with the liset (default orbiter) when you use the air support charges. has yet to see a frame to involve in hacking.

    well maybe ability to freeze the count down as passive is too much. if change to active skill. i'd make it when in data vault, able to change the difficulty of the data vault hack to lower and slow down the count down timer. then in the field, control robotic mobs to be allies within field (10m default range) duration skill.

    makes more sense this way.

    a card game using the mod card you have! this is.... this is.... kinda unfair for those who have the rare mod cards. 

     

    well lets hope DE can think of something out. recently heard the witcher 3 game had card game system. and i recall the final fantasy 8 card game.

     

    mini games would also be nice. put in some credits and earn some extra credit / or random resources.

    I have a few ideas for the Dojo, some from myself, and some I've gathered searching through the Forums and Wiki that I haven't seen added to this Megathread.

     

    I'll start with common stuff I didn't see on the Megathread:

    • Making the Temple of Honor Statue Changeable.
    • (Instead of a whole new room, though that would be preferable) Change the Treasury Decoration to be able to accept resources as well as Credits. Perhaps in a Drop Down list.
    • Down Tiering (Come on, why isn't this on the Thread? It's even being discussed).
    • A top-down Decoration placement system, not as a replacement but an addition to the current system.
    • Multi-floor elevators and Stairs
    • Mobile Dojos. The Warlord (or perhaps make this a new configurable Rank) would be able to manually move the Dojo somewhere else in the System, or set a preconfigured path to fly through the system, so the scenery would change at varying intervals.
    • Observatory becomes something similar to the Relays' Mission Control room.
    • Interior Wall changing. I'd love to see a wooden wall instead of the metal interior that every room has. Perhaps restrict some walls to certain rooms. Being able to have like a window into a rainforest, autumn forest, beach, or underwater would be awesome too.
    • Dojo Captura Scenes or a Free Cam mode inside the Dojo for screenshots.
    • Chat channels. Per room would do just fine.

     

    Now onto the thing I've really been interested in.

    Music. I absolutely love music in games. Custom music, that is. I loved being able to do it in Starbound, and a game called Mabinogi is what got me really into the whole music in games concept. It creates bonds. There's nothing like just sitting there with friends, guild/clan mates, or even strangers just talking with some gentle music playing in the background. Or awesome, inspiring music. Battle music. Sad music. Any kind of music. It gives life to everything. Music is a medium of communication, and it's a sad thing to not be able to use that medium in most online games.

     

    How I imagine this working in Warframe is not like it works with Octavia. I would love if it used MML. 5000 characters per track with 5 tracks would be more than enough for almost any song. A player could create a song through a new option menu in the Dojo, or through a new decoration. I like the latter idea better. The created music could then be saved to his player account, or shared to the Clan. Music from the Clan wouldn't be copyable, with the notes hidden to anyone but the creator. This would mean that pieces of music created for a Clan would stay in the Clan. For songs that would require multiple instruments, then a player can write a song for each instrument (this means each instrument would get 5000 characters of 5 tracks, or whatever the limit becomes) then "link" them in the song database, marking that they require all the others to fully play the song.

     

    Instruments would be activateable decorations, or perhaps activateable as part of a new music room. They would include instruments like a piano, guitar, violin, drums, flute, at the very least. Preferably many more.

     

    Playing a song would work like this: A player activates an instrument and chooses his song. An announcement is made to everyone in the room the instrument is located in that Player X is going to be playing (Insert Song Name Here) and how many more instruments and which are required to play the song. The song would then enter a confirmation stage, where the player could wait for other players to join in on different instruments, to which the song would enter a five second countdown to begin after the last instrument is occupied, or the player may confirm playing without all the instruments.

     

     

    This is all I have for now, thanks for reading! I hope DE decides to work on Dojo 3.0 and the Clan system soon, because my Dojo has been my pet project for so many years, decorating and rebuilding, then repeating the process. I really want the Dojo system to be more exciting to players, to have more reason to go and stay there for an extended period of time.

     

    Also, if anyone from DE ever happens to read this, please, PLEASE, don't make the Music in dojos mount to the Music slider in the options. Add a new volume bar for the new music system. As well as Octavia (not allied Octavias, but her in general), remove the Dojo Bells being hitched into the Music slider (drums aren't, why are Bells?), and ONLY use the Music Slider for the background music. Nothing else. I always keep music off because I listen to my own stuff sometimes, but I hate having to go into the options and turn music on to hear a friends' Octavia music, or to play with the Bells in my Dojo. It's a horribly done system and really would not be difficult to fix.

    additionally, maybe a room could be where the members equipment loadout could be seen. like a locker room where each clan member name is on it. doesnt need to be a large physical locker. or maybe a hologram of their most used frames and load out. drop down list for members on the hologram

     

    and also labels on the map to say where we are in the dojo. my clans dojo is quite large and can get lost sometimes while wandering.

     

    and last time i read some guys post about NPCS populating the dojo, its a neat idea to have weekly traders to drop by an sell some rare/less rare items from time to time. 50% is credit items ,50% ducat items. just to make the dojo something more than a quick trading area for players. its not that baro seller is not important. just too make more activities. clan trader to sell clan emblems and resources from our own members maybe we sell to the clan then the clan sells to other members. so the clan treasury earns a small cut from the sales of resources.

     

    also a training  area for noobs, i know we have the simulacrum to do these but for the fresh tenno maybe they need an area to do so. also train for spy missions like different consoles to practise hacking, different difficulty levels. An archwing obstacle course - space and water.

     

    maybe a room like a zoo, for each members active pets.

     

    in all honestly there is no need for foundy in the dojo. we want to make things complicated as possible. LOL

     

    A defence event would be a great idea for a weekly or fortnight event in the dojo. maybe clan vs clan. or other faction attacking depending the cumulative faction heat on each members aggro. (corpus , grineer , infested) . for clan raid, maybe the loosing outcome could be 70% loss of clan treasury fund. and cost to repair certain rooms.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

  11. you know i had an imagination when you said electric fortress.

    i imagined a structure maybe an old orokin bunker. then  volt casts the electric fortress ability. his shield will block any enemies from entering the enclosed area.

    the bigger the structure the more energy it consumes. so the smaller the area the less it consumes.

    then like you suggested on its own it just a circular area around the frame.

     

    alternatively the idea is the structure will have a location where volt can connect to it like a battery, or any frame with high energy / shield lvl (whichever). but volt will have a slower energy drain compared to the rest.

  12. another addon idea, since we saw the open market area, there should be a place where you can hire one or 2 mercenaries from the local npc population. either a hunter or a sniper or tanker type roles. like from diablo 2.

    and also an interface to command the merc to go to location or attack an area. like from mechwarrior 3

    hope i got get any heat from suggesting ideas from other games

  13. so in short to say. Equippable abilities? or like lvl 1 abilites of some frames.

    I'd like to have radial blind from excal for oberon or invisiblity from loki

    that would be a nice alternate power to have.

  14. As i'm browsng the forums, i saw few posts about new companions.

    First was about

    2nd was about

     

    Then why not another type that replaces sentinels mid air. We have kavat and kubrows already. 

    Medic kavat is a new type of kavat.

     

    An idea comes to mind , since ppl are suggesting beast master type frames. why not a companion that we can ride on, either land or air.

    the companion can be ridden after they achieve maturity (lvl30) 

    Since POE is happening soon. We should expect some huge flying beast( flying whales?!? ) on the plains. 

     

    There are many more posts which talk about new collars or mechanics for the companion system. But we'll just have to wait and see.
