  1. Asking =/= Getting

There are currently a 17 active players advertising a Secura Lecta on the market for under 100p.  I bought mine in trade chat a few weeks ago by offering 75p and someone took it.

Realistically, the Secura Lecta is actually appropriately priced for the amount of Syndicate Points it takes to get one, and the rest of the weapons are underpriced.  In demand syndicate mods usually sell for 15-20p each.  You can sell 5 of them for 75-100p, or you can sell one Secura Lecta for 75-100p.  With other syndicates, their weapons are underpriced compared to the amount of syndicate points it takes to get them.  Their mods still sell for 15-20p, but the weapons are often 45-50p, so people selling weapons are getting about half the value than if they sold mods.

You know what, your right. Just salty over here, wanted a prime kubrow mod. Pay no attention to me.

I'd probably be more likely to be salty about Baro's stuff if I hadn't taken a year long break from Warframe.  I was just getting to the point that I had enough extra prime parts to buy his stuff when I quit playing, and now I'm buying him out every time he shows up cause it's all still "new" to me.  In another couple of months once I'm mostly caught up, I'm sure I'll join the disappointment crowed every two weeks :)

At max rank you get 11 seconds per regen, but the only time your sentinels take damge is when your downed....

But you said you never go down, so I guess I'm not really sure what your concern with the mod is in the first place?

And going down should at max burn only 2 of the 3 possible regens with the invulnerability phases if you're revived at the last second.  So this mod appears to address your concern perfectly.  If you don't go down, your sent will live through the odd blast damage.  If you do go down, your sent will live through at least one whole bleedout timer with another regen left.  It appears to have addressed your original concerns perfectly.

How does 11 seconds of invulnerablity help during a 20 second bleed out?

At max rank, 3 revives = 33 seconds of invulnerability.  If you bleed all the way out and have to revive, you'll get your sentinel back with all it's revives restored anyways.  If you're burning the entire bleedout timer every single time you're going down, but getting revived at the very end, then you're probably in a match that's going south anyways and you weren't going to get a lot of use out of that sentinel for much longer anyways.

  5. Funnily enough, after having picked up no new friends in Warframe in forever, in the last week I had multiple people friend me between trading and farming the arena battles on Sedna.  Had a couple of pretty new people trade with me and they were asking all sorts of questions about how things work.  And then on Sedna, found a good group and we ended up chatting quite a bit.

  6. I know the forums here tend to trend towards the negative or critical, and after having been away from Warframe for most of this year, I wanted to give some positive thoughts about my experience coming back.

The Relic System - Everything about the relic system is such an improvement over the old void system.  The last time I seriously played was when Frost Prime was unvaulted last December, and running voids over and over and over and over to get parts is one of the big things that burned me out on the game.  Having a greater diversity of options for getting prime parts has been a godsend.  And having both void missions and prime part missions be public now have both greatly increased how much I play those missions and how much I enjoy them.  Plus, having the ability to get vaulted items, either from my own stockpile of vaulted relics that were converted from keys or from randoms, has let me get some vaulted items I otherwise wouldn't have been able to get without plat.

Nekros Desecrate - OMG.  Nekros has always been my favorite frame.  When my wife and I first started playing, we each bought one frame with Plat to give us some more options early on.  I took Nekros and she got Frost, and those remain our two favorite frames to play by far.  No longer having to spam desecrate has breathed new life into how much I enjoy running Nekros.

Endo - I love the new mod upgrade system.  I always horded mods and fusion cores before, because it felt confusing knowing exactly how much I had available to upgrade anything.  With just a big old pile of Endo, now I always know exactly how much I have and upgrading mods is just a cleaner, faster experience.

Rivens - I like Rivens.  I'm a player who tends to like oddball or unique weapons, so getting a great riven for the Panthera and Nukor has been terrific.  I appreciate the criticisms of them and the system, but using them for the unloved weapons really does make those weapons shine.

Star Chart - The Star Chart took some getting used to, but I've come around to quite liking it and feeling like it feels more like running around and exploring the solar system.

Overall, I think the quality of life aspects of all these changes have greatly improved the Warframe experience, to the point that I'm back playing daily after having burned out so hard that I had doubted I would ever come back to Warframe.

  7. Yep, I got in briefly, lost connection, and now am just getting "Network Not Responding" when trying to log into the game.  Have tried being behind a VPN or not and from my primary internet so far, and same results.  Going to try doing it from wifi from mobile broadband next.  But I suspect all of that is just luck, rather than there being an issue with a specific ISP.

  8. Tried practicing MR 16>17 test tonight multiple times, and it was bugged in the same way every time. This is the time attack trial where you strike orbs for extra time.  No enemies, no orbs, just an empty arena to run around.  Tried standing still, tried running in each direction, and just nothing each and every time.  Finally tried to actually qualify, hoping that just Practice was bugged, but it was the same.  Time ran out without seeing any enemies or orbs.

  9. I got an Optictor Riven mod with pretty good stats, but also with negative crit damage that would max out at around -135 percent.  How does that work?  Would a crit do 0 damage, or would it just do regular damage and basically make it so the Optictor never actually crits?  If it wipes out all damage from one ever 9 shots, not worth it.  But if it just wipes out the extra damage, it might be worth it.

    • Fixed an issue where login rewards were not given to players.

Yes!  I hadn't experienced this, but my wife had a couple of times on her account.  It seemed to count the day as having been logged in, but no reward (we hadn't been 100 percent positive it was a bug, wondering, well, did she log in and forgot?)

  10. Yah!  This literally makes me do the Kermit happy dance (assuming it works)!

I run Warframe on two different PCs, and it happens on both:

    PC1:
    GPU - AMD 7850
    Res - 2560x1080 - Single widescreen monitor
    DX11

    PC2:
    GPU - AMD 7870
Res - 1920x1080 - Standard monitor, nothing fancy
    DX11

  11. A lot of people are acting as if accruing Focus during regular gameplay is feasible.  Unless you have a lens on a frame that deals direct damage as a main killing source, you're not gonna get squat for focus.  At this rate you're best off just cycling lenses on Excal, or getting extra Excals for different lenses.

The last week, I am actually just picking up what I get through regular play, though it's only 5-10K a night.  I got Zen and Nara both up to having 3 levels in their good passives, which makes them awesome already.  I don't see any point to farm points for abilities I'm not going to use.  That's what I would suggest people do, get a couple of passives you like and then just be chill about points until whatever change is being made comes out.
