  1. If enemy radar is built-in now and u guys are set on not changing the vacuum, why not make it ''built-in'' then and free to slot for something that is going to be a tiny use for pets instead?

While most of these changes are nice, I honestly expected a bit more. By stats, my Helios with deconstructor prime clapped more enemies than Kavat did and I have used Kavat 2x more. Legit stood on the side and watched Vulpa struggling against lvl 70 single basic Moa, just to die from it. On a side note, my Kavat has 5 forma and a good build. Deconstructor was so-so, not even using its full potential.

Some alternatives and suggestions that are more than mod value changing:
    - available captured animals as pets, if nothing else, at least as a reskin
    - animals and/or captured animals roaming freely in Dojo (perhaps some special room or any room? Or I can even go further with this and suggest kubrows being able to roam in Earth-themed rooms, kavats in infested, moas in corpus etc. to avoid being too crowded. Also captured animals could be donated instead to the Dojo and have them roam freely - so those who have bunch of floofs already and/or don't want them can do something else with the animals)
    - improvement to Al
    - give more mod slots (like Necramech). None of these are game breaking, it might just help em survive more and/or be slightly more effective with what they do
    - remove completely that X pet is down (with Vulpas it's just spam on the screen in a short duration)

They probably will. Like the the Rifle Riven in the Luna renewal pack, that when opened turned into a Kitgun riven. They called it a bug and that was the last thing they said about it. I haven't purchased a Luna pack with rivens in since.

Ah yeekes, didn't even know this but I logged in less than 10 times past 2 years. But that's the solution - what you did and quit purchasing something that didn't meet your expectations or their promises. And at least rivens you can farm (or plat to make up for that loss of rifle riven by getting another one).

I had a lot of things to catch up on and what I notice, those little subtle things in the past year that Hespar/Aeolak drop and abnormal prices on the market for the parts, the introduction of Chinese year event items (what was the price again, 500pl for the full pack?), some new player traps, circuit on purpose giving you constantly the weapon you don't have/even if you ever did think of yeeting some of the weapons to have some free slots, now you won't and so on, and so on.
Imagine celebrating your bday, but you tell guests to bring their own drink, snacks, dinner and cake and to not forget 90$. Lol.
I'm done with own salt regarding this topic, I think I said all that is on my mind.

I honestly commend you for this approach and I actually share it, however I am not as optimistic about majority of players.
I may get some heat for this, but I will say it: Most people are sheep with memory of a goldfish.
It's the same everytime. Just look at how Blizzard and Bethesda drama went.
After 76 and predatory microtransactions everyone sweared the will never support Bethesda... Everyone bought Starfield.
After Grand Milk Theft, the sexual abuse and all the predatory systems put into Heartstone, Overwatch and all the drama with WoW, everyone hates Blizzard. Look how many people bought Diablo 4. It's always the same. Sad.

Haha regarding Ow, I have played it before the competitive was a thing. One of my fav stories regarding it is Blizz saying they have 50mil players... This was the account number, not the player number and it happened after season 3 where people were quick to forget how for the 3 seasons straight tanks and support got fewer points on wins, but lost the same on loss in ranked. Instead of resetting it for players after this was discovered, they left it as it is, ur points perma screwed unless you played way above the current rank. Not even going into coin flip, no limit in ranked, and that S#&$fest of water testing. So ppl bought a second account to reset their rank :) I did not, why the hell would I purchase a second account for the game I already got the biggest pack that was offered. When they pushed out ''Ow 2'' I laughed (quit long ago their games, except for HoTS, which is without a doubt 100% f2p but didn't get much-needed attention from players cuz LoL exists) and my very first comment on it was: Watch this, they had to ''make'' it Ow 2 for the excuse to remove lootboxes (HoTS originally had what Ow has now - no lootboxes, skins that you purchase with irl money which is fair, then they swapped to lootboxes which basically gave u everything for free just as Ow lootboxes did and after that they pulled every support from it, just keeping servers alive). I didn't play it for a long time and last year I got back into it a bit to see how things are going. That 10$ for battlepass seemed alright price, individual skin for 20$ did not. Then they put Lifeweaver, took me less than 5 minutes of gameplay to say: this is bad, he desperately needs a buff. Took this small indie company to buff him 1-2 days after I said it, oh my, they sure couldn't notice or afford a proper QA tester during that 3 months before he came out. Didn't log in ever since and the last thing I saw was them saying how PvE won't happen, it's expensive project just to push it out a week or two later after being slammed on the internet for it. And imagine, you again pay for it. Haha.

I like the story from Diablo, but Diablo IV is something I won't purchase.

A friend was about to buy Heirloom pack and I diverted him from it. He doesn't play Mag or Frost and to make it even worse, he has the most dreadful fashionframe you can possibly imagine (he didn't even care to check what ephemera is lol). He said it himself how he feels pressured by time and how he fears he gonna miss out on it. Just an impulsive purchase, not even something he would be super excited to have.

And another one of my favorites - NCSoft and their whale tier. For those who dunno, NCSoft customer support will treat you according to the money spent on the game. I also have a plot twist here: 100$ didn't mean much to them every month, so I decided to make it 0 instead. :)
I'm editing to actually give more details on this, cuz I believe it's an interesting story, especially since you could point out with a finger who purchased Heirloom pack just from their comments. I was not affected by this treatment by any means, their support even recovered me right away some items I accidentally deleted and personally never had issues with their support (but that's cuz they did get money from me). There was an event where you purchased some keys to open rewards. Now, those rewards could give you cosmetics and the rest just p2w stuff, to make it short. The clan I was in had completely free-to-play players, occasional smaller buyers, regular buyers (me), big boi whales (500$ and above monthly). One of those whales complained to customer support about ''bad luck'' with boxes, they gave him free keys (about 20 if I recall correctly, which wasn't a small amount), apologizing to him that he had a bad luck LMAO. Since I had absolutely horrible ''luck'' as well, we did a test. Now I contacted em, they bounced me to 5 dif people, avoiding answering why they gave only to specific people ''apology for bad luck''. F2p players would normally get ignored by their support for anything. So, you see, this never really was about me since I was getting answers. I just didn't want to spend time in the game which has that system and treats players like that.

Final Fantasy XIV is fairly ok, except that you feel forced to keep buying monthly sub for the sake of keeping your virtual house that you tossed out already a lot of in-game money to get (and hey, it has a limited amount too!). You purchase DLCs, you purchase some of the deco with irl money, and then you lose that same house lol.

Lost Ark I quit very soon after the game felt like work that you are not being paid for. You farm with the same people, the same amount of time, exact same things, to be set down back because of constant ''luck'' that ohohooh, you can purchase.

The worst is how I did like some of these games and I would have played them more (and kept purchasing stuff in it, cuz I said, I do like supporting and cosmetics), but it's really sad to see this repeated pattern of ''millions are not enough, billions are not enough''. What will ever be enough, then? They are milking people and players who mostly earn less than them. People purchasing packs for 90$? Let's make it 120$ in 3 months. Gaming companies treat people like they should purchase monthly the amount that is higher than monthly bills or food, which keeps you alive and healthy. This is a damn hobby and it's a choice to play it and support it. The reason why I did support Warframe is because I never felt like the game is constantly forcing me to buy something. You don't ask for it, I'm going to do it. Force it on me and you going from X amount to 0 real quick. And it could have been years of financial support and good word instead.

Unfortunately that already happened. That is simply how it works. It's not that people accepted it, but there is only a limited amount of energy a normal average human can put into complaining about something so inconsequential. It's a problem about virtual nothing in a videogame. People have enough real life problems to care about this for more than a few weeks. It is what it is.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough with what I said. I don't plan on sitting and commenting here every day or something like that.
When or if this repeats, don't rush to swipe the credit card, but choose the uno reverse - you gave me 3 months to purchase something at the abnormal price? I give you 3 months to change the way you work instead, otherwise my purchase will be a grand total of 0.

450 - 500k would be the closest numbers. If you take the number of views on tennocon has a number in the player base, the tennocon usually starts around 2PM EDT and in Asian countries that would be 1-3AM, the time varies a lot depending on the region and taking into account the schedules, the number of 300k are mostly Western players.

I and all my friends don't play with steam sir, I can say by statistics that every 7 out of 10 pc players do not play on Steam.  Steam doesn't have even half the players. So it doesn't make much sense to take Steam charts as moss reliable when it comes to player counts.

While that is possible indeed, I wouldn't rely on Tennocon views. Some people might be just curious, then Tennocon also attracts a fair number of people to try the game out - that doesn't mean they will stick around as well. Never said that every or even half of the players come from Steam, just that the number isn't drastically higher compared to Steam (like 40k Steam, 400k official). It is difficult overall to rely on any of that information because you have ''monthly active players'' which I assume counts each player that logged in once during that month. I can log in one day for 5 mins and then the rest of the 30 days be offline. Was I really active? To who, my clan members, my friends, random players in the game? No, I claimed one my daily, put another forma to craft and went off. Was I active by some list? Yeah, I logged on.
Like hell, I even want this game to have as many players as it can get but I also put expectations to have that respect in return, which this pack unfortunately was everything opposite of that.

I'm going back to the topic of the pack.

This again comes from someone who has over 4k hours in-game, helped a bunch of players, financially supported the game whenever I could, always had nice words to say about it even when I disagreed with things they did or wasn't playing as much, and never went on a big rant/got offended by something they did. Until now.
Ironically enough, I'm heavy into fashionframe and like a gremlin who likes shiny things (which these skins are and I do like the design), my starter was Mag and for that reason alone she always gonna have a special spot in my heart. But from someone who knows how this pack would work if everyone or the majority would remain silent if that was the case, we would be getting in the future every pack with this price. Now, even people who have purchased it fail to see the bigger picture.
    1. Unlike the rest of the things, this isn't affordable for 1/3 of EU (I'm just mentioning only EU here because the monthly salary in EU can be either 500, 1500 or 3k)
    2. As mentioned above, I would like to get a skin for Mag. But then, I would also have to purchase for Frost (no hate for Frost, just that I almost never play him). Would I buy food in the amount of 35-45$ or some clothing that I would never eat/wear? How did we as humanity come to that point to pay more for digital items than irl items? Digital stuff have no date of expiry, they don't take spot in stores so other new items can't come and can be purchased in endless copies.
    3. For those who afforded it without issue, wouldn't it still be better for everyone if they paid less, more reasonable price? At the end of the day, not like you lose anything, more like it's a win/win for everyone involved (but the greed).
    4. There are only 2 profile titles - for founders (never spoke on this topic here before, but in my opinion, that is absolutely fair, they saved the game and company from drowning and made it possible for the rest of us to play it later on) and ''10-year supporter'' (just the name itself is very wrong). I worked as QA and just for this alone, I could give at least 5 other alternatives to how it could be handled which wouldn't hurt players or the company.

And I really hope players won't drop this soon and pretend it never happened.

  6. Tbh I think it's 300k at the best. Doubt downloading from the official site has more compared to Steam and NA def has more Xbox players than PC compared to EU (I frequently switch between the two). In NA time even on the web market, you see like 5 ppl online that sell some item (I don't ever recall this being so low, but I was mostly off the past 2 years so some things they did in the game got a bit easier for me to notice as well. Hespar and Aeolak drop winkwink, people selling parts for the price that might be lower for 10pl than going straight to the in-game market and purchasing it for full price). Once they are done making this better for new players (lololol), maybe they want to sit and wonder why clans of 30-50-100 members end up having 2-3 active members in a duration that is less than a year. I'm not even counting players like me who barely have anything to do at this point and how it's completely normal for us to step back when it comes to playing, which is normal.

While it's not the nicest way to say it, it is also frustrating to see someone making up numbers after being corrected multiple times. If you go to the previous and current pages (comments above that), you can easily see what am I talking about.
He said he works in finances, then goes ahead and divides the number in half. Like... You could barely pass the math and you would know how to do this, nothing to be involved with finances.

(My math may be a bit off and this is pure theoretical) What I'm geting from this chart is there are 650,000 active players and the (average not ftp or prime/fashion) player will pay around 19.99 for platinum if I take 50% being ftp and prime/fashion players that gives us 50% average players 325,000 average players and we take 50/50 for those against and those for the pack thats 162,000 for and 162,000 against the pack

We take 162,000 and boycotte platinum purchases so 162,000 ×19.99 = 3,238,380 dollars a week loses in revenue and 12,953,520 losses a month

Now if we take 325,000 non average players who pay from 4.99 39.99 a week 79.99 month and take 50/50 that's 162,000 for and 162,000 against the pack then we take 162,000 50/50 for ftp players/prime fashion players

    Thats 81,000 ftp and 81,000 prime fashion players 81,000 x 4.99 = 404,190 dollers a week /1,616,760 a month and 81,000 x 39.99 = 3,239,190 a week /12,956,760 a month and 81,000 x 79.99 = 6,479,190 a month

Adding all those together 25,915,140 dollers add the average players to that 25,915,140 + 12,953,520 = 38,907,040 dollers of loses in revenue if We could get all those people to stop buying platinum for a week to a month

Buddy, I've been trying to tell you this, but you can't get a math out of it. You would need specific data to know exactly how many and who purchases. The average Wf player def does not spend 20$ weekly, even those who did pay here and there. Then we have Tennogen, where not the entire profit goes to DE.
On top of it, where there are sheep there is wool, so you never gonna be able to convince every single player to not buy something. However, you can advise in them in talk to reconsider or not do it. A friend told me that there is a discord group for Fashionframe and that not a small number bought the pack to show it off there. Lol.

On the topic of people expecting that they might gonna add at some point just a skin for 20-30$. They won't. You have a pack that has glyph, emote nobody gonna use, title for your profile, palette, and a bit of plat for 30$. Clearly, they won't add the skin for that same amount. Don't be naive.

Pt 1 there are a total of 34 million accounts but a usual player base of usually around 2 million it can fluctuate often from 1 million to 3 million but the average is around 2 million thats still a lot /  pt 1.5 if they find it interesting they may if they don't care about money

Pt 2 I think both companies are to blame but the main problem company is tencent

Pt 3 they should have written a book called the best way to lose customers and sold it with the digital exteams pack 🤣

Originally in your comment you stated that the game has 34mil players, then made a whole math out of that number.
The average player number on Steam is below 40k. The game doesn't have 2mil active players, if that is what are you aiming for (just to say this right away, I'm aware that it's not only Steam counted in this but there is no way that the rest makes 1.960.000). So I really dunno where you got that number from.

Neither you nor I (or just an average Wf player) knows wassup in any of these companies and precisely how the deal between them functions, what you doing here is just pure assuming. And even if you work in that company, it doesn't mean such information would be disclosed to you.
If nothing, you have Blizzard right there with a great example of how someone started well and cared for the player base to turn into this. Not claiming DE will ever do it, but it is a possibility, as it is with any other gaming company.

If they start losing profit margins then they'll bend a knee to the people that pay there bills if we can get even half of 190,000 people they'll start to lose 1,900,000 a week thats only counting the average player purchases of platinum if i add the people that spend more like i did around 50 to 80 dollars for prime access and fashion framers thats 9,350,000 a week

Thats only 190,000 people there are 34 million people that play warframe if we can get even a small percentage of that 34 million to boycott platinum and market purchases it can be a major blow to financial situations for the tencent team on the de situation giving us more leverage on the herloom situation

    Math is not mathing.

There are no 34mil players but that's the amount of made accounts. It's also never about how many play, but how many ppl and who purchases. Do you really expect that MR 5 will buy this pack (plot twist, most of them quit around this MR) or someone who is MR 20-33, ''invested'' time and money in the game?

You are a customer of both of these companies, obviously, if people go strong against something BY NOT PURCHASING STUFF THEY ARE UNHAPPY WITH, there will have to be changes made because they need/want money. If you really think only one company is responsible, while the other is like ''oh no, please don't make me live better and earn more (do I really need to explain to adults how everyone likes money, either gifted or earned when ur payout shows in ur bank account?)''. Because DE doesn't have any pack that contains X things that you don't need or want, but there are those 1-2 specific items on purpose locked behind it?

They, in fact, should have named this pack Digital Extremes. Because it sure damn is digital and extreme in price.

  11. Nice to see how the title for 10-year supporter went to people who tossed out money for one pack, instead of people who overall supported for years and spent much more than this and helped a bunch of new players so the game can keep going and make this enjoyable experience. I guess ''support'' is something that you purchase these days as well. Overall I'm fine with some things even when it's questionable, but this is sort of where I draw the line.
DE didn't start the company and the game yesterday, ''oh we made a mistake'' really isn't valid. Not gonna even go into ridiculous pricing, you also had to know that it would sell more if the price was 20-30$ and that would also make it affordable for those who, you know, need to work 4-5 days to earn that 90$.

Really offensive and a slap in the face for long-time players.

    Edit:

I like to speak with my wallet instead and when I notice the game gets greedy, I cut off every sort of payment for it and normally quit the game.
How I viewed Wf over the years is the game that ''accepted'' me back as a player whenever, regardless of whether I had the money at the time or not - unlike the subscription games, for example. When I could, I always supported it with purchases, as I have some prime accessories, more than half of the tennogen market, and made multiple plat purchases. I was more than happy to do so and again, the amount I have spent on this game is far from small (four numbers).
But the fact that I check on forums maybe once per year, I never in all these years complained anywhere (forums or twitch), yet I logged in now to type this, DE could easily make an office meeting discussing how the hell they managed to do that.
I don't mind how these cosmetics are being time-limited and locked only behind irl money payment. Making players buy both skins, making absurdly expensive packs of a damn digital item, then justifying it behind adding a bunch of items nobody asked for (and also easily could even offer that option for those who wanted to purchase it) legit have no excuse and not sure how blind one has to be to look at that and say ''yeh, this is completely fine''.

Might as well give us a free glyph of a middle finger instead, at least I would appreciate honesty and boldness.

My point is that new players might not have multiple, or even the right frames, and being carried... well to me that is never an option. If you're being carried you aren't playing the game, you're just following someone around.

Newer players are always welcome in many clans to have a guide and help with many things until they are able later on to do stuff on their own. And yes, it is like that because compared to any other rewards in the game, these are AN ACTUAL rewards for the first time (except Eidolon, maybe)

Old system: alerts on planets they didn't have unlocked was ok to everyone? Many of those ppl didn't ask to get a taxi for mission even tho they might needed it badly.

Not sure why people want it on Chroma Prime. Steel Fiber is already a pretty wasted mod slot on him if you pump up his ability strength for Vex. The very difference in armor between Fiber and no Fiber is minimal, so 3 umbrals on him is quite pointless. Too much armor also mean way too little return from things like adrenaline or rage. Also a big reason not to use adaption on him because it eventually slows down shield depletion, which in turn makes him suffer even more from low energy return.

The only frame I'll spend on and the only one which doesn't have enough capacity to toss everything in (without steel).
For Eidolon, it's not possible to toss in max augur message.

The rest can work with 1-2 extra normal forma instead of umbral. Maybe Oberon p is a nice choice as well.

If that is so hard to understand then I dunno what else to say. U can do with legit any frame 3 waves of ESO or capturing animals, but these are the easiest solutions/tips. If u got nothing smart to say, skip my comments please.

I would like u to point out on specific quests u find hard because as I said, they don't seem hard to me at all.
Sortie = can get carried easily there regardless of MR/exp as long as there is at least 1 player who knows what to do.
Syndicate runs = capture/exterminate can't be that hard and they are short (for ppl who don't have much time).
Kuva = eh go Limbo, sit in rift and press 2?
X type of damage = just switch to the frame or weapon with that damage type (like i did cold and blast with Redeemer p)
3 waves in ESO = same as sortie. Also Saryn press 4 can't be some 300IQ play
Perfect capture for floofs = sit invisible as Loki, pick animal that is bigger target (so, not owl or pobbers)
Assassination = u probably did already multiple of those, pick some fast ones like The Sergent
Invasion = same as assassination, just pick fast ones

Idk did I missed something from this and past week, the only one I could say 'screw this' was for Ayatan (and that u could do in Arb. missions in case u didn't have any or didn't want to waste plat on it)

You can't group all players into one basket. We are all different. And they aren't whiny. You are projecting. They simply are voicing their concerns. And because someone doesn't agree with another doesn't mean they should be shut down or not consider their opinion.

I'm MR19 ready for the MR20 and many times I struggle and need help. I complained about a weapon and how much it sucked. Then one day a fellow player helped me understand it. It's my go-to weapon mow.

I absolutely love Warframe and I welcome Nightwave. It's pretty cool. We should be helping players understand the change not condemning them for their opinion.

Warframe is all about that and DE would want this.

My lad, dunno did u notice how many topics 'nightwave succ me no like' are around. While majority sounds I DON'T WANNA PLAY LONGER THAN 1H WEEKLY BUT I WANT ALL THE REWARDS.
Honestly, if quests are like super hard or something, I would say openly it's an issue. But they are not. A lot of them u can speed run except obv 1h survival and similar to those. Again, as someone who had enough of ppl going in endless missions, mainly relics, then leave after 5-10 mins, this change for me was more than welcome. And only on forums I see ppl whining about nightwave not being perfect. Guess what, there is no system that will be perfect and that will work for every single player.

I see nothing wrong with having struggles or wanting help, thats pretty much normal and from what I could see, players often offer their help or don't mind helping whoever even with some 'annoying' stuff. Again repeating, what is wrong with users of this forum? I normally stay away, but holy f, atm is too much.

Edit: Also thats why I asked - what is casual play for ya all? Because I consider myself pretty casual, nowhere near hardcore every day 10h of Warframe player who works 7 out of 7 days in a week. Sometimes I play more, sometimes less. But this weekly looks to me more like a daily lol.

  17. U actually dunno how whiny wf player base is until u open the forums. And then u are like 'fk this, Im out'.
What IS casual for u people? U want awards, but to put 15 mins in it weekly? Like, are u for real?

Whoever I talked with, they legit finished all in 1-2 days. U often can finish 2-3 quests in a single mission.Capture targets literally spawn in every mission. Per week 4 tiers.

If u are not willing to put 3-4h per week in the game, why are u even bothered by rewards that u don't even need considering how often u play?

Great, now clan actually can have some purpose instead of nobody talking at all, waiting on other clan members to finish researches or joining to grab a bp and leaving.

I literally had zero issues with this. get 2-3 ppl from friendlist/clan/alliance and u gonna make it.

As far as I know it's with all colors that the dropped pigments can only be picked up by one person.

    If it's unclear:

An enemy drops a pigment -> one person picks it up -> it's gone

Another enemy drops the pigments -> the same OR another person can pickup the pigment -> it's gone

I do know that. I'm pointing out how it's a clan research and yet I can't go with my clan mates to farm it but we all need to split.

  20. For tiers above Shadow  - it's an actual cancer to farm. If I go with my clan mates, pigment is not dropping for everyone but only 1 person.

Our clan still hasn't finished the ones that drop from Dargyn Pilots. Which have absurdly low drop rate. I did round 2 and half hours farming revenant parts when he came out and not a single pilot dropped a pigment.

This^ We are on 500 pigments and need 5k to finish the research. Tower White appears to be issue as well, so I left it as the last one.

  21. Nice room u made there, sir, so don't think it's a waste 😛

Personally I wouldn't use it as a spawn room, but I don't mind if it gets that option. Gardens too.
Keep in mind that the difference between this hall and other halls is how u can make as many as u want Inspirational Halls.
