1. Are there actually still people S#&$talking trinity in 2018? wut

It's literally *the* most desired frame in the sense that you can literally do every single piece of content solo AND are needed by literally any pub team or eidolon.

  2. Just a reminder to stop using the "F2P" game strawman argument for people that do use it. Do not pretend like you know anything about the most profitable player spending activities for DE. Who pays plat to rush most of their weapons? Give an example please?

From MR15-25 the grind is objectively more boring than from MR1-10, and that's a fact. You are basically forced to abandon your favorites for an hour or two and spend time on crap items just to throw them away right after. Adjust crafting time on weaker or low MR weapons, that's a very good thing. Put more polarities on them too. Seems counterintuitive but the good high MR weapons will be crafted and formaed no matter what. More polarities on less popular and lower level weapons = more reason to try them out.

  3. If I could like this post more than once I would....

People need to realize that it's the game design that makes people wish for more "difficulty". The levels must be designed to be challenging. If missions only require you to "stand around this thing and kill every enemy" then there is literally no difficulty to be had after you achieve certain builds. Don't believe me? Go to a lvl20 defense mission. Tell me if that is anything different from a lvl50 or lvl90 one.

And 1000 Ammo Drums for the point about parkour. I loved Warframe movement system when I first played it, but after so long I realized we are not moving like a ninja, at all. It's just "rushing ahead as fast as possible", movements are too "wide" with too few ways or reasons to control or fine-tune them.

People DO want difficulty, that's why Souls-like games are so popular, but there must be a balance of challenge and rewards. I literally have never seen anyone being like "wow I needed that rush of adrenaline" after a lvl100 sortie Mobile Defense, even if they got a riven out of it.

    • General introduction: I'm 20, already feeling too old. I like to play as a Pumpkin Cosplayer Nekros, Nova and Trinity with dual swords or fists as weapons. I like too many meme pages on facebook and my news feed is full of memes I have a totally healthy social life. Timezone is GMT+7

    • What are you looking for in a clan (be specific) I was drawn in by your clan description really. I like to play casually, but "casual" shouldnt mean "disordered and disorganized". Playing casually means prioritizing fun, and nobody can have fun if the we don't expect a certain standard of conduct from one another. I am looking for people to farm stuff and sorties and learn to do raids with. I've decided I dont want to join those random people "LF LoR exp only n00bs gtfo" on recruitment chat. I want people willing to help and in turn I am willing to help others in need.

Note: modding is a basic mechanic, if you don't know how to mod your weapons or have no clue on what you want them to do, then please, step away from rivens (and sorties for that matter) and go back to learning the basic mechanic asap.

Another player can never tell you if a riven is good or not, it's none and both at the same time, depending on the actual goal you have for said weapon, for example, if you want a weapon to do just gas damage, you can't have a riven mod with cold, unless ofcourse you change the entire goal for the weapon.

It is heavily recomended that you also figure out a price that satisfies you on your own and it is also impossible to know if a riven mod is good or valuable for someone else because everyone progresses in a different way, it is not a linear path you can guess.

You are free to ignore my advice, altough ignoring basic things such as the modding system will only have 1 possible end, you know this because you're there already and that is why you're strugling to define a price or struggling to find stats that you or others may find appealing

Imo it's because so many people don't actually give advice like you and keep saying "well as high as you want for it. #freemarketbruh", that plus the silly inflation, and people are afraid of not being "as high as possible" or being ripped off etc. Also not many people try out all playstyles so when they come across a riven for a different weapon than the ones they play they don't know how to value it. The game system itself makes rivens for weaker weapons have stronger stats, so it further obscures the way people evaluate rivens. The "right to reroll" for a strong weapon can be worth much more than a great riven for a meh weapon as I have seen.

For example I got a riven for the Zenistar with +range +status change +electricity the other day. People keep saying the Zenistar is a super awesome weapon, but I am literally half a year away from being able to use it, so I couldn't care less about the mod. I would have sold it for 300p, because while I knew that riven on that weapon is strong, i had no reason to care about using it. Its "personal value" is just 100p. I asked around a bit and sold it for 700p. Pretty reasonable price, and much more than what I would have got otherwise.

Also many thanks to the guy that took the time to do this. <3

EDIT2: Oh and I noticed you also used "price that satisfies you on your own".. No, that doesn't work while buying sadly. This is a game and I cannot comprehend why anyone would sell anything for more than 1k plats. There are already builds that dont make use of rivens.

  5. Guandao Riven MR8

    +118.4% Slash

    +81.7% electricity

    +112.3% range

    -87.5% Finisher Damage :(

    S#&$ ton of reroll

    *** KOHM Riven MR12

    218.2% damage

    115.6% crit dmg

    zero reroll

How much is this worth? thanks in advance

  6. Because enemy scaling is there in every game. Almost unlimited revival is not. Warframe has bad scaling but enemy scaling is a must, because the weapons themselves are designed to deal w that. If we also remove the other gamey elements of our own weapon damage scaling so much (because every weapon with self damage can almost one shot warframes in higher levels), Tenno will still die a lot. What i mean is "we" actually fall a lot in battles, we just get right back up. We as in players don't die because it's an online game and when we fail a mission we just restart, not reload. If "storywise" every failed mission is a death i wonder how many tenno's would be left.

(in hijack missions iirc when we fail the Lotus says sth like "im sorry there is nothing i can do for you")

yea you r right that even the NPC's acknowledge that. So it is not that those enemies cannot bring us down; even if they managed to we would burst back to life, even if they managed to kill us we would magically appear ten minutes later.

Personally i believe the warframes would win since we got the experience, knowledge and brain but people seems to think tht strength wins evrything so its whatever...

Yes because a bunch of teenage mutant space ninjas have "experience, knowledge and brain"

  8. Hi, can you guys let me know if farming for one of the valuable corrupted mods, then maxing it to sell for ~150-200p is more time efficient than farming void traces and cracking relics? Is the endo required too much?

What is your usual speed when you guys farm endo? I don't seem to get lucky with it very often. An unranked corrupted mod only sells for 15-20p (that is if i get the "good" ones), so i'm wondering if it is worth maxing them first.

  9. So i got a discount and I wanna buy some plats. If i only buy potatoes and prime parts how long will 1000 last? (I play around 2-3hrs every day)

Edit: I'm a pretty average player, I do not go after the newest or rarest stuff, and I only forma and potato the weapons I like.

Well, yes. For a few reasons

One, it's warframe. It's a team game and it has rules. You're happy when someone casts a buff on you that you like, right? Well, you have to take the good with the bad.

Two, while sometimes it's annoying, 85% of the time it isn't. Excavation, extermination, giant defense maps, and other maps can really used speed. Small defense maps are a pain.

Three, so how do you set up that preference? A checkbox for each type of mission?

Four, I hate those types of options. A very limited preference that is used by a small amount of people. Next thing you know, the preferences section is checkbox after checkbox after checkbox of preferences that affect a tiny part of the game for a tiny percentage of players.

Five, there is already a way to debuff. (BTW, thanks. I didn't know about it.)

Man this is so stupid. There are actually people in 2017 that go AGAINST suggestions to stop troll behavior in a multiplayer game?

It is not even a technical fix, it is a "quality of life" fix. Do you even do anything besides warframe, because every darn thing that has anything to do with "multiplayer" tries its best to combat trolls nowadays? You are bothered by options that help those in need because you don't have the same problem? Oh so the awareness ribbon is so darn annoying because who cares about leukemia? Why is an ambiguous virtual ribbon that barely affects anything is okay, and a change that actually improves the experience of some people is not? You do know that every actual competitive e-sport has those kinds of options right?
