  1. Speed: Team radial buff. All Tenno around caster will get speed and melee weapon speed increase (Range(15,20,22,25) Speed(10%,15%,25%,50%) Duration(5,6,8,10))

    Changing this power made us very nervous! This power has always been great fun but I personally thought it broke the co-op part of the game.  So my first thought was outright removal of it and replace it with something more Volt like. After some back and forth I decided that the best course of action was to take this fun power and give it a group benefit. So now this power is a radial buff to all Warframes close to Volt when he casts it.  I had to reduce the overall speed boost it gives players, as it was too overpowered as a group buff. So to compensate for the loss of movement speed, I added a melee speed increase as well. I want to promote this power as something you use in combat and not something you use to avoid combat.

     

     

     

    Volt had a fun, unique power that defined the warframe. This is like taking Rhino's armor boost and making it weaker and applying it to the rest of the team instead, or taking Ember's overheat power. Or Ash and Loki's invisibility.

     

    Volt's speed in combination with parkour also had amazing results, as can be seen in one of the videos chosen as a winner of the kogake kills contest...

    You could keep Volt's speed the same and given less speed to the other players, which makes sense because Volt is the one spending energy to use it.

    What has been changed to affect this? Now the whole team can avoid combat together. Loki/Ash's Invisibility and Loki/Ash/Nova's teleporting powers were left unchanged but could also be used to escape combat, and honestly I have only ever seen people use speed for combat. I have a friend who has played as Volt since closed beta who used speed to attack, flank, or run to a downed teammate, etc.

     

    Please find a way to balance Volt while keeping the one power that made him unique. Volt's shock and overload are pitiful damage compared to other damaging abilities, and electric shield is completely overshadowed by snow globe. If you must make it a group oriented ability at least make Volt's speed higher than the other group members (and remove fov change for group members). I think an excellent idea would be to make the electric shield a group oriented ability instead.
