so my post may have been focused too much on the dramatic reiteration, which is my bad, but really the point i was trying to make was that i think the battle would be much more fun and less tedious if the use of operators were at MOST an optional form of attack rather than a necessary requirement and i don't agree or find any entertainment in their current system, which you described. (and also, +1 for the firing spitballs part, it's like... not very engaging)

yeah so literally what's the point of fighting anything in eidolon at all if it doesn't benefit the playability of my warframes??? as in warframes, the title character of the game, the game i am playing called warframe which is based PRIMARILY on upgrading WARFRAMES because the GAME is NAMED, THE PROPER NOUN in which we use REFER TO THIS SPECIFIC VIDEO GAME, THE GAME "WARFRAME"

you literally picked out the exact major failure of this huge update-- an update made to the video game Warframe, a game about playing as Frames that Go to War to FIGHT, WAR-FRAMES IF YOU WILL, FRAMES.... FOR WAR.....FOR FIGHTING......-- and you say that's not a problem??? the whole F*** ing POINT of this update was that so it could be UTILIZED IN GAMEPLAY and instead they just made everything completely empty, tedious, boring, shallow romp through empty fields and the major, pivotal element required to experience ANY of it also require that you don't actually use your warframe??? again, in case it wasn't clear: the characters the game is named after, what i signed up to play as. as the warframes. the frames. the warframes. i signed up for the video game called Warframe to play as a Warframe and you're literally telling me to my face and/or screen that i "shouldn't bother" playing at all if i don't like being forced to not play as a warframe???

The point is the system is trying to focus more on OPERATORS, since those are the people who PILOT THE WARFRAMES

Stop being so close-minded. Its people like you who complain and add on these S#&$ changes, dont want anything new or original for the @(*()$ operator. You are a cancer to this community. Please educate yourself or learn something called "common sense" or maybe do a little bit of something called "research"

  2. So, you guys can state your problems and/or balance out the problems and give your reasoning, but i'm just going to start this off here:

The thing that really takes the piss out of farming for anything related for cetus wisps is the grind for them. They are EXTREMELY hard to find, and not only that but I actively searched for 3 nights in a row, here are my results:

    Night 1:) 3 Cetus Wisps

    Night 2:) 4 Cetus Wisps

    Night 3:) 1 Cetus Wisp

It just doesnt feel all that rewarding, knowing that I'll have to farm for about a week at the least if you get home from school at ~4:00 and then do homework until ~5:30 and go to bed at around ~11:00

Math listed down below. Note: The above takes into account doing sorties everyday, which can take different amounts of time. Also, you might get home from school/dont go to school and have more homework/have less homework. I know.

Assuming we get 8 cetus wisps total over 3 nights, on average we get around (8/3 = 2.33~) 2-3 cetus  wisps a night, at the most 4. Each night cycle is 50 minutes, so assuming you have 50 minutes to get 2-3 cetus wisps, we can do the math. Since the first basic amp requires 30 cetus wisps, 30/3 = 10, 10x50 = 500.  you can expect to farm for 500 minutes or 8.3 Hours AT THE LEAST.

    Lets assume that most people will get half nights with 2 wisps, and 3 wisps. (15/2 = 7.5, + 15/3 = 5.) = 12.5 x 50 = 625 = 10.4 Hours IN BETWEEN

And then, for those unlucky, getting 2 average cetus wisps a night. 30/2 = 15x50 = 750 or 12.5 Hours AT THE MOST

My suggestion to change this? Make wisps more viable. Have a certain amount of wisps spawn during the night have a higher pitched sentinent sound play when near. Preferably have 5-10 spawn per night, or another change is to just tone down the cost of cetus wisps to 5 (per part) for the beginning amp.

Thanks. Remember to post any idea down below or tell me if I did something wrong. Thank you!

    ~Owen

  3. I've found some murkray at the shore. Just head far right when you enter PoE until you reach an ocean, and fish there midday/night

    EDIT:

You also dont need bait. You have to be paitent though and you cant miss any shots, or else it wont come out.

I'm just happy our pets will have somewhere to stretch their legs now. Also curious how their AI will perform in a larger area.

    same here

Also nice that his 1+4 don't have a range limit to how far away they can be targeted. So theoretically, it shouldn't be at all difficult to complete lockdown a Grineer base with 1 and just stroll a bit closer before flattening it with whatever AoE weapons you like. Should make it less of an extermination and more of a mop up.

yeah, im working on my hydroid right now. im super stoked that he will have a real use (as sort of a commander)

That is not a solution whatsoever. I've spent 100$+ of plat on lenses to get my zenurik where it is, and another 2500 plat on my full set of Arcane Avenger. Where am i supposed to put a new energy regen arcane?

    >$100 of plat on lenses (specify currency)

    wh- what?

greater lenses arent that expensive: let me do the math for you

they average of around 20p for zenurik lenses

50 frames total currently, so 1000p for that

~280 normal weapons (~190 not including revariants)

    so about 3800 plat

    4800 plat total

assuming you are a normal person and were to wait till you got a %75 off coupon, you would only spend around $60-ish USD. you are heavly exaggerating it, and if you didnt buy with coupons, it would be way more than that.

so unless you put lenses on every frame and weapon, no, you wouldnt spend $100 USD. you really just put lenses on one frame and you're done with it, you dont put lenses on every single weapon and warframe you get unless its farming-tier god level good. i'd say a normal person spends 1000 plat TOTAL in their whole run-through of putting lenses on weapons, which is still only $12.50 USD with the discount you get sometimes.

Its also not our fault if you didnt buy with coupon and/or put lenses on all of your weapons and warframes. Prime access doesnt count for this either, since you dont even come close to the plat if you spent that much money.

  6.

    Zephyr:

obvious reasons: zephyr is really mobile with her 1 and 2, however, since she is getting a rework most likely we wont know what her new abilities will be until zephyr prime access starts in a couple months

    Titana:

turn into a little god mosquito with a nuke tied to it and go kill everything

    Ash:

ash is going to be pretty nice in PoE due to the fact that fatal teleport exists, and ash can bladestorm. still not the best choice, but hes pretty good

    Ember:

world on fire is world on fire

    Excalibur (to an extent)

really only good for sword dashing sucks for everything else sadly

    Hydroid

the most surprising one, but i think everyone forgets his 2 exists sometimes. this thing is amazing and can literally propel you faster than the speed of sanic with the right build (but lets face the facts, nobody here can build hydroid. hes just a bag of trash goodies [just kidding i main hydroid leave me alone])

    Mesa:

her ballistic battery (1) has a use yay (sniper rifles + fast firing secondary)

    Mag

sorry what shes good now? use lanka and her 2, why has nobody thought of that yet  (and also pull)

    Nezha:

sliding is for cool boyos, so you better do it my fellow homo sapiens

    Nova:

do i have to explain this  (teleportation for little special snowflakes who thought i was talking about molecular prime)

    Volt:

do i have to explain this #2 (speed lol)

    Rhino:

rhino charge and iron skin because you like to get rock hard when you fight stuff

    Trinity

twilight fanfic steal energy and do things

    Vauban

    3 and 4

    Nidus

literaly the definition of cancer, some people thought nidus would be good but i rolled my eyes so far back in my head i can see my brain losing cells

    weapons

    >literaly all the sniper rifles (list: Grinlok, Rubico, Stradavar, Vectis, Vectis Prime, Tiberon, Vulkar, Vulkar Wraith, and Lanka)

    other weapons include:

    Seer:

you didnt even know this existed

    Arca Scisco

sniper pistol requiring -a brain that everyone here lacks including me skill

    Knell

i hope you like going back to get ammo

    Lex, Marelok

    nice ammo economy

    Sybaris Family

i prefer dex sybaris but they are good close up and far away and have good ammo economy

    lenz and tonkor

because they are good and if you dont like them you are trash you need to go away boohoo boohoo

no but seriously burn both of them

oh and dirga weapon that nobody knows the name of

    cant forget about that

hey this was my first time so tell me how i did and i probably left stuff out but if you know it then you know it (and post it down in the comments so I can know)

I've built a connection to my Warframes. Switching the focus to operator warrior mode feels like a bait and switch. I'm not sure how I feel about losing my focus abilities for my warframe. I was kind of hoping that the operators would've stayed as an npc.

This is just me prejudging it though. Hopefully PoE will make those operators more endearing.

Hoping they make warrior mode sort of like a smaller type of warframe with 2 abillities you can pick, and a certain type of weapon you can use (like no multiple weapons, only one certain weapon)

  8. I am for sure not happy with it.

I wish you could make it so that weapons could be upgraded with a certain status effect using arcane~like items, execpt they have their own slot and you have 4 of these slots; but with a catch: Each slot (to be unlocked) would require something like Kuva or a Forma. These slots could be filled with arcanes that give bonuses like the following:

+X Amount of Elemental Damage (dependent on the already existing base weapon stats)

+ X Amount of Elemntal Damage

+ Extra Slot that can be filled up with something by going around Plains of Eidolon to collect gems and craft certain augments

+ Extra Slot that can be filled up with something by going around Plains Of Eidolon to collect gems and craft certain augments

And no, you cant have 4 extra slots or 4 elemental slots.

something i came up with on the top of my head

So with the devstream fresh on our minds, here are some ways I think we Tenno should prepare for the upcoming update.

    1. If you have Zenurik energy overflow, get rid of now. Stop playing using it. It's going to be taken away from you, so you might as well figure out another way. Upgrade your build and your arsenal, and reformat the builds on your castor frames. Prepare to rely on energy pizzas for the most part. And stop farming focus until you know exactly what you're farming for and how the points will be "refunded" and "reinvested" in the "new" focus school overhaul.

    2. Max out your archwings. Stop using Odonata. Get powerful ones like Amesha. Build top-tier weapons like the Grattler and Fluctus and train yourself in archwing combat. Given that the warframes are going to suffer heavily from the focus school nerf, we'll probably going to have to rely on archwing combat to survive on the Plains.

    3. Develop long-range warframe loadouts. Invest in powerful sniper rifles like the Rubico and Lanka, and get used to using them. The days of frenetic, fast-paced, close-quarters combat are over. Now, the key will be to learn how to systemically eliminate your foes at range and maintain cover while doing so as you close in, just like in real life. Frames like Ember, Excalibur, Atlas, Hydroid, Octavia, and Nidus will all become useless on the plains. Frames like Ash, Mesa, Zephyr, and Titania will excel.

So those are the top three things that came to mind. Feel free to add more because I'm sure that getting ready in advance won't hurt.

Just some weapons you might be able to use.

    Knell

    Seer

    Vectis Prime

    Vectis

    Arca Scisco

    Lanka

    Snipetron

    Snipetron Vandal

    Lanka

    Rubico

    Vulkar

    Vulkar Wraith

    and some more.

I would say that Lex and the others might be good as well, and the Sybaris' family. However, I'd prefer the Dex Sybaris just because of that higher crit chance.

also, for the warframes you should probably invest in: Nova, Volt, Zephyr, Mesa, Atlas, Ash, Limbo (because you can go in-out of void, plus long cast range), Octavia (to an extent), Titana, Loki, Mag, Nehza, Equinox, Inaros, and Mirage.
