The reason DE is considering just making Scythes heavy blades is because to "make them longer" and "make a new stance" is a ton more work than just "make them longer" and "apply a current stance". It takes a lot of development time to create a new stance, and I can't deny that I would love to have the current Scythe stances reworked/buffed to fit larger, scaled up weapons, but that process would entail basically making two new stances from scratch.

Making Scythes Heavy Blades has the best time versus reward proportion. Maybe scale up the Scythes, let them use the Heavy Blade stances, then work on a Scythe specific stance once the craziness of Venus open-world and The Sacrifice calms down.

I get that part and I know it's easier said than done. But I'm still worried about making them heavy blade will just result on some lazyness and let them heavy blade cause nobody will use them (I don't really think any of the scythes will do better than galatine but I could be wrong if they change the stats + a riven).

They don't have to make them bigger now. I mean, they could wait after the venus and sacrifice work to rework all melees like they did with all the other weapons and makes new scythes model and stances there. It's not really mandatory to have a bigger scyth now imo.

Also, what will happen to the skins for scythes ? Will heavy blade be able to use them and scythes will be able to wear heavy blade skins ? Or all scythes skin will be unavailable for now ?

  2. All scythes needs is a rework on their stances...makes them longer, buff some of them and make a new stance or use the olds one and they will be good to go.

Making scythes has heavy blade as little to no sense. They aren't made to work like that. If the stances of scythes wasn't fitting much, I don't see tempo royal or spin4ever fit more.

  3. Wow some people need to chill out. Lukinu_u's work get voted most of the time but the second volt skin this round has less than 300 votes and looks exatly like Nyx and Oberon's infested-ish skin which makes  us wonder who is choosing, the commu or DE.

Plus some artist see their work refused cause it "doesn't fit in the game" while some "funny" or "really really specific" stuff are accepted and the example taken was lukinu_u polearm skin which is a mic.

Some people are just confused about what is too far from the game and what is allowed.

Also some people like one skin and some won't. But it doesn't mean you have to be harsh. Nothing is bad, you just don't like them.

So now instead of creating a drama over a preference, can we get answers from DE or once again they will avoid the question. :T

  4. I think it's time to tell us WHO really choose the skins and such, that will be in the round you know, @[DE]Taylor

We will pay for the skins unlike you guys so I don't get why one person or two at DE choose the skins we get. Also saying "this skin doesn't fit into warframe" is a bit....meh to be polite.

After all, we have already hatsune miku skin for Octavia (unless hatsune was a ninja), you are planning on releasing mods that are just useless like they said in the devstream (one put flowers on crit....I don't think flowers are much into the space ninja theme, just saying)

All we need, is answers. Tell us the truth. Don't make people still think they can influence something while they can't because when I see this round at least, I'm sure we haven't chose everything in there. It just make people upset because they haven't voted for those items.

    Be clearer please.

The Vote feature is a Steam Workshop feature implemented by Valve, not by DE. DE doesn't really pay any attention to it. Twelve rounds of Tennogen have demonstrated that quite well. Nor do the official guidelines mean anything, because DE has regularly accepted content that doesn't adhere to their guidelines (i.e. contemporary/pop culture/meta content, that is supposed to be rejected, like a certain 50s microphone polearm that DE accepted).

I'm pretty sure DE accepts submissions based on their own personal tastes. That's the only thing that seems to make sense about their selections. At least, I hope that's why, because otherwise, their selections often make no sense to me.

which is lame. I thought the goal of tennogen was skins made by the commu voted by the commu, not someone we don't know at DE with questionnable taste for infested look and a kink for Nyx and Saryn.

  6. Now I want to know something. Why do we vote ? There is items accepted that have not more than 200 votes that get accepted while some others don't. Can we have an explanation at least or it's just a proof that voting is useless cause in the end YOU and only YOU choose what you want.

  7. A prime trailer isn't just a simple video they put there and is useless.

A prime trailer helps with sales and could attract some new players. So it's all good for DE. You can see that on any video game when they release a character. It's not just put there and hope that people will notice and want it.

They are busy doing Venus open world and stuff but remember they have several teams working on different stuff so it's not only 5 people doing the game.

When I see them laughing each time someone ask for Hydroid prime trailer, it makes me wonder if they really care about their own work. The guys who did Hydroid prime and Zephyr prime certainly want some love around their frames unless they all really hate what they are doing.

Prime trailers also give some lores that we don't have in the game or anywhere else so if DE wants to skip the lore, they should skip all that Umbra thing cause it will be full of lore.

Now that DE wants to sell a lot of Zephyr prime access to rebuild their servers, they could need some ad video (like a Zephyr prime trailer ;) )

  8. Hello o:

I wanted to open a small subject and hope everyone (and DE of course x3) will find some ideas nice o: (I hope my english will be well .w. )

I was looking at my profile, and I realized I still had the dex sybaris and twin rogga on my most used weapons. I played them a lot but it was a long ago now. The "used %" made me realize how inacurate it was since you don't really know the time played with each weapon.

Also, it can be seen even more when you mostly use frames without damage but only defensive abilities compared to other frame with only damage.

For example, my most used frame is Zephyr with 21.5% used and 56M xp, 6.101 kills and 5.152 assists and now if I took my Mag I was using to farm lith relics : 5% used, 50M xp, 36k kills and 12k assists.
We can clearly see how much the profile stats for my Zephyr doesn't show much compared to the stats for my Mag. That's why I thought about add a "Missions done" or again "Time played" with each frame to be able to show our real favorite frame~

If you have any other idea do tell and I hope DE will find this interesting~

  9. Hello Tennos o:

I don't know if I should put this here or not (please don't ban me ;w; ) but I wanted to put my idea here so maybe it will interest DE~

I was playing support frames a lot lately and I only saw the healing done stat on my profile. That's a bit sad since when you do sorties and focus on healing, restoring energy or protecting your allies, you don't really see it on the end game stat.

So my idea was to put the healing done stat on the mission result to show how useful the support player was during the mission and maybe put more stuff like how maybe CC done, buff given or else.

It may be nothing but it can make some people feel a bit less useless when you look at the stat after the mission and maybe make some people play support more o: .
