  1. Sorry for being late to respond, but we were holding the lantern for 15 minutes. We only spent 20 seconds or so getting to the lantern, it seems that even at 15 minutes the score won't always be high enough. I managed to do the run again and get it, although I stayed for 17 or so to be sure. The timer on the left had even stated how long it had been since we picked up the lantern.

Also sorry for the kinda poor title, i'll try and make sure any bug reports I do in the future aren't vague like that.

  2. While doing the final Hallowed Flame Endurance mission to get the Ephemera, the timer on the left hand side in the survival mission hit 15 minutes so my friend, a random, and myself extracted. However despite waiting about 20 seconds on extraction after it had already hit 15 minutes, we failed to receive our reward. After the mission ended, we noticed the Mission Score was 22 seconds to soon, despite the fact the timer on the left hand side said otherwise. Even the mission time was 15 minutes and 50 seconds, and we grabbed the lantern mere seconds after the mission started.

Hopefully this can be fixed before it happens to someone else, but while it was just 15 minutes it really just was frustrating. Also I have images for proof, but i'm not too sure on how to attach them.

Best way to do it is whoever is hosting pick up the target first.

I'll try this and hopefully it doesn't take the capture away from me instead. I just wasn't sure if there's some weird mechanic behind it.

Standing gained from doing conservation hunts also counts towards your daily cap. So check and make sure your friend hasn't already hit their daily cap (which is based on faction rank and mastery rank iirc)

Nah he didn't hit his daily cap, it just didn't give him anything from the capture despite him standing nearby with his tranq out.

  4. Just a moment ago I was trying to help my friend get some Fortuna standing by doing conservation, but he would only sometimes get the standing from the creature I captured.

Are there requirements for my squad-mates to get the standing and tags? I've heard some people say you have to be close, but my friend was only a few meters away. Any info would be much appreciated.

  5. I've been so hyped for the new masks, but I am almost certain the two new masks don't exist by this point. I haven't seen them in any rotation, nor anyone wearing them. They really should just either force them to be in the table or change/remove the mask rotation entirely. Waiting 17 hours to be let down and to not know what the requirements to purchase the new masks are, is extremely aggravating. I really hope they fix this without having to wait weeks for the mask to appear.

It doesn't happen when I play Limbo, but then I know when and when not to use Cataclysm, and there are other Limbo players out there who know the basics, but (on X1 at least) the majority seem to think Cataclysm is always useful.

You're stating that when you play Limbo you're useful because you know when and when not to use Cataclysm and you state that it seems the majority think it's always useful, playing into my narrative that it's because not everyone knows how to play him.

I do, and have, many times. But X1 so few mics and fewer keyboards. Just about anything you can type out mid mission is not going to come across as constructive feedback.

Limbo is the problem. The new players are learning, and you can't see why he's a problem by playing as him. From the inside he just looks powerful, it's only by playing with other players that you learn how his kit affects others.

You must be patient when helping others, I use a wireless keyboard or sometimes I plug in my microphone. Even if the other party doesn't have a microphone your own voice will come across to them assuming their volume isn't muted.

You go onto say Limbo is the problem because new players don't understand how he affects others, but this would again imply that it's just because they're learning the frame still. If you don't try telling them how to better play Limbo in a constructive way then you're not helping the problem of new players getting adjusted to the frame. I play on Xbox 1 myself and I don't encounter the issue of players not communicating, often times people ask for help.

As I said based on my own experience playing as Limbo and often times playing with randoms and new players, the issue isn't Limbo's kit. It's as you said new players learning, but it's not their fault if they're unaware. Make them aware in a non rude and kind way.

Limbo, Octavia, Equinox etc. are all pretty easy and do the low one since it only needs 50 points per round

Especially Limbo based on my experience. I ran mine with 169 duration, 130 efficiency, 280 range, and 40 strength and by using Cataclysm and Stasis they couldn't turn any points in. I just ran it with public matchmaking and focused on defense while the randoms would usually turn in the points themselves. I did see a YTer solo this challenge using limbo as-well, but I am not that brave.

  8. Players new to using Limbo can be a minor inconvenience but you can just tell them politely in chat if they're spamming banish or doing something annoying. I've only seen someone truly upset over a limbo once and that was when I was playing as limbo and had absolutely no idea what I was doing because it was before the little warframe ability tips.

Limbo isn't the problem and it's not the fault of new players using him, try to help them out like you should anyone else.

Can I see mastery out of the game? I can not open now

If you have the mobile app you can, but I don't believe aside from that there's a way to check while you're outside of the game. I also don't use the PC version so I can't check for myself. But when you can log in feel free to respond here and let me know.

However, if you're MR2 or higher the Boltor is an option and it's a fairly good weapon- especially for new players. Here's a link to the Wiki to check it out.

    https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Boltor

For MR4 i'd suggest the Hek. It's a very good shotgun.

    https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Hek

If you're MR5, try joining a clan with all the research. That way you can get Ignis, it's good for clearing crowds or doing steady damage over a short bit of time. To get the detonite injectors for it, I suggest doing invasions, as you can usually get 3 super easily after 3 missions. As for the forma, if you don't have one- try doing relic missions or keeping an eye out for an invasion or gift of the lotus alert.

    https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Ignis

But your current weapon may be fine, you may just not have it modded to it's full potential! When you get the chance please send me your build and whatnot so I can try helping ya further.

  10. If you're being demotivated i'd suggest trying to find people to play with, I imagine if you ask in recruiting for someone to help you through your star-chat you'd find someone. I know the grind is a lot easier when you have someone to chat with and help you out, especially as a new player. There's a lot of things to do in war-frame, but I understand it can be frustrating and overwhelming as a new player.

The frames you have are all very good, with Rhino being my favorite suggestion for new players as he's got a little bit of everything. Iron skin and Roar are especially useful, as you can be tanky and give a decent damage buff to yourself and your teammates.

What's your Mastery Rank? Because depending on it I'm sure I could try and suggest some weapons for you to use.

  11. When using Ash prime and using my fourth ability, it leads to major frame-rate drops every time I cast it after selecting enemies. I don't know if i'm the only one in my squad that has to deal with such, or if it may be due to my armor and whatnot. It's very annoying as it makes me not want to touch Ash.

  12. If you read the article https://www.warframe.com/news/1-day-til-tennocon

    They state that

    Quote

Please note that there might be a delay of up to several hours in the distribution of these Drops!

Followed by this for those who attended in person

    Quote

If you’re attending TennoCon in person, you will also receive both drops from the day! This might take until the following week after TennoCon as we work through distributing them.

So just be patient my dudes, they won't let us go without getting our free stuff.

  13. It'd be awesome to have an addition in the form of a room to act as a mini-relay. Perhaps when rail-jacked is eventually released, just have little NPCs come and go and have background chatter- or maybe even something like a buildable ducat kiosk. Maybe the greater standing a clan has with specific syndicates dictate what NPCs come and go? I have a rather small 3 person clan myself and having no background noise or anyone existing inside the dojo. Aside from trading or going in to research something, there's no point, starting missions from the clan isn't worth it as I can do it from my orbiter and have the benefit of being able to use my foundry.

  14. I'd say extractors are pretty helpful but they should be supplemented with actual playing, I've been just rotating a 3 titan extractor primes around and since I can't get on to grind 24/7 it means I can get a modest amount of resources over a few days.
