    Ive used the practice facilities, I shouldn’t have to. Because the test should be game related. If at all. 

     

    I've gotten stuck on several tests along the way, so I understand the frustration.  But I'm actually with some of these other guys - it's a test.  It's not supposed to be easy, and I'm not even sure it's supposed to be representative of actual game play.  It's about skill and adaptation.  My husband also plays - he never practices and passes the test on his first try every time.  I have to practice several times before I can barely pass it.  It's different for everyone, but it's a grind.  I think there's a lot of validity in you needing to get good...you have to get better at the challenges the game presents to move forward.  That's how games work.

    If you were at around the 10 waves mark, Cataclysm can still nuke efficiently enough at Hydron levels but it's really not a good build, some other frames are better at nuking like Discharge Volt or Spore Saryn.

    Limbo works best with a high range-high duration build and the Rift Torrent augment.

    I think you're missing the point of the post.  I'm an MR24 - I have WFs/builds to come in and wreck Hydron.  The point of this post was players are getting trolled/abandoned in defense missions and either fail (thus losing any bonus XP) or are forced to abort (losing all XP and rewards).  It's unfair and rude, especially for people who aren't MR24 with a Range Saryn or Resonating Banshee and are just trying to grind for their XP.

    I'll be fine, but small QOL changes, like adding a couple seconds when people change at the last minute would be really helpful.  In the meantime, as suggested, I'm never staying in a mission after any player says they're leaving.

    Also you won't lose xp even if you leave/fail the mission.

    The most recent time I was a range Limbo.  I could have solo'd it with a duration Limbo, but a 10 sec cataclysm wasn't exactly helpful and I wasn't loaded out for solo'ing.  When I extracted, I did lose the XP and relic I had earned in the first 5 waves.    

    Most of the time I am fine ignoring trolls - I've had plenty of people do crappy things to me in game.  But this has happened multiple times, and it's just rude and detrimental to the player left behind.  I shouldn't have to lose the work I did do because someone wants to troll me by leaving at the last second.  I would have been happy to leave as well had I known they wanted to.

    Would be really nice if we could have control over spawn rates so we can keep the spawn rates for 4 players even when there aren't 4 players present.

    While I totally get where you're coming from, I feel like you can easily make that decision at 10 seconds left instead of 1.

Several times now, I’ve been in a public defense mission and have 1-2 people choose to keep fighting with one person choosing to extract, then at the last second everyone but me jumps to extract and abandons me in the mission.  Most of the time when I do defense on public, I’m not running a solo frame and I’m forced to fail the mission and lose my XP and rewards. 

    It makes sense for people in the middle to decide to leave at the last second, but it’s unfair and rude to allow players to indicate they are staying just to leave fellow Tenno at the last second to fail a mission.

  7. Captured Terry 3x in one night, collected the shards, went to the shrine, but could not place shards to summon Garry each time. None of the four people in the party could see the shrine light up or place a shard. 

    After 2 failed attempts to use the shrine, we picked up the associated bounty and still couldn’t get the shrine to work.

I've been having a similar issue.  I try to do a bounty on public and get dropped from the squad and am left loading - I can't get into the Plains and I can't go back to Cetus.  I have to go back to my orbiter and start over.  It happens in clusters - about 50% of the time for a couple days, then it doesn't do it for a couple weeks.  It's frustrating to waste all that time just trying to load into a game.  Between that and joining squads in the 2nd/3rd round of a bounty, I pretty much don't want to play on public anymore.

I've been having a similar issue.  I try to go in on public, join a squad, get dumped from the squad and then I'm actually stuck between the two doors.  I can't go into the Plains, and I can't go back to Cetus.  I have to go back to my orbiter and start all over.  It happens in batches, like 50% of the time for 2 or 3 days and then clears up and comes back a week or two later.  

  10. My raiding team and I are having a bevy of issues with JV:

    1) In the first mission, first section (archwing) the host melee destroys the spore

    2) In the first mission, second section (after archwing) we are having repeated issues with users not being able to see or use the protective bubbles (sometimes only one or two, other times all)

    3) In the third mission we have the most issues - frozen HUDs (followed by perma-dead if you aren't revived), continuous jumping from 3rd to 1st person, seriously slow frame rates, and constantly having members booted from the mission (supposedly for being outside the game range when inside the golum).  

    Additionally, we have members who fail to get archanes after the mission (we play right after reset so there is no question that they should be receiving them).  We're still managing to finish the missions, but this is getting insane.  We experience issues in varying degrees EVERY DAY when we play JV, and the list just keeps getting longer.
