[Lanka - Why Unable To Shoot Uncharged !?]

the lanka charges to build up energy. othewise uncharged shots would look like little sparks lol.

Doesn't the Snidal fire twice as fast, but do twice the damage of the Lanka? With a better damage type, and hit scan to boot?

I haven't used either in ages, so could someone refresh my memory on why the Lanka is waaaaay better?

 Lanka is more for taking down heavies, but its not really good at taking down a group quick.And thats where vandaltron excels. vandaltron is more versatile to use in any situation. and ohw yeah u dont need a good sidearm when using vandaltron. Lanka does(otherwise your dead when surrounded and your still busy charging x_x)

I watched MikeB's video on it and did some testing, I can do exactly the same thing to the normal enemies with the Glaive, a weapon with 250 less base charge damage.

 

By the time you actually need that extra damage, you are in a position where getting close enough to hit them, and then standing there for the duration of the charge is suicide.

 

 

 

Put it this way, the Lanka deals double the damage of the Tealsniper, in serrated blade form. Is it OP?  nope.

The freakin long charge time compensates for the very high dmg it does. Its perfect now :3

The only changes lanka got was the Serrated damage others are untouched.

the charge time can stay. it balances the weapon and gives it a railgun/coilgun feel :P

[Laser Damage]

till there is no buff to laser dmg i´m glad that flux, spectra and lanka are serrated blade and not laser dmg, but i hope too that laser gets a buff and maybe some weapons get changed to laser (flux/spectra/Supra) and new comes out

i hope they stay serrated blade dmg. cmon i mean flux rifle slices enemies and lanka fires projectiles with extreme velocity(that is what the description says).

LANKA IS TRASH

NO its not. Charge time is there to compensate for the damage it puts out. If u don't like the charge time, this ain't a weapon u should use

Edit: BTW as far as trading goes, we really need the ability to trade void keys. I have a clanmate who has dozens of the things unused because he can't host our games.

I think his graphics driver is outdated. I had the same problem and fixed it by just updating drivers. ;)
