  1. It should be a priority. DE showed the Fetch mod during last devstream, then the Kubrow fur gets nuked into the ground and hasn't been fixed.

People already are in an influx of buying imprints and will increase once Fetch gets released. This should be a priority imo because supposedly the main reason for the broken textures is because of a 'lighting update'. I don't see any sort of actual lighting change aside from the companions themselves, which clearly wasn't intended.

I used Mag in one of the Arbitrations, I took such a low amount of damage I had "0% damage taken". My shields were perfectly sufficient for the mission. So, your "not working for endgame" is clearly dependent on the situation. I had no issues what-so-ever with using a shield based frame for Arbitration.

I have definitely gotten one shot many times as Mag in missions that weren't even Arbirtrations. Sounds more like you had a team that actually did AOE damage and enemies were nonexistent.

That first statement is super... arbitrary...

But anyways, the OP's intention is mainly to have a push in the right direction / suggestion - not an end-all-be-all. To be quite honest, I agree the system needs a complete overhaul, but I wouldn't be surprised if the engine would give super weird errors when it comes to messing with the calculations of shields. Kinda unfortunate that shield gating won't be a thing based on DE's feedback the once or so it was mentioned, but that's the reality. I wish I could really use mag more, however I find her quite boring. I believe Harrow is definitely more enjoyable to use than Mag, so that's where I end up.

Veterans should be compensated in some way for the new system making these items avaliable so much sooner. All this is gonna dk is get the zenistar nerfed when everybody gets it and it becomes widely abused. Then veterans and new players are hurt because of the ease of access. I suggest giving people with 500-700 days logged in some exclusive cosmetic to commemorate their sacrafice. Perhaps a profile emblem so its obvious they were their before the change. That is just my opinion though.

I was thinking a cool idea would be that if DE made an emblem that had changes to it every 150-200 days for example.

The exclusivity of a cool emblem you could've only got when prior to the soon-to-be Login rework would be really nice to those who actually logged in for those rewards.

"Veterans", dont get me wrong I see where you're coming from. Tradable login rewards dont seem fair to you guys, and it's understandable. If this is being integrated into Warframe, then why not make the items being traded Mastery rank locked? For example: the Zenistar is a pretty powerful weapon. Why not put a mastery rank requirement on who can receive/buy it, like; "in order to receive this weapon, MR20 is required. Something like that. If I'm a MR25 (actually a 19) then how am I any different then another MR25? We've both clearly put in the effort to get there, some people just do it faster. I reached MR19 in about 240 days, which means I'm actually pretty close to being able to unlock the Zenistar. If weapons like the Zenistar had a MR20 requirement to buy, then the new players wouldnt be able to get their hands on it immediately, and the veterans could be satisfied with the fact that players had to grind their way to a certain MR (what should be a high MR requirement) to get said weapon. Another example: Sigma and Octantis could a MR25 requirement (since it takes so long to get).

Nothing should be over MR16, even if it's a login reward locked behind MR. I get the example, just MR20 is way too much. Regardless of your logic behind login rewards, nothing should be past 16.

  5. Are you talking about the day before's sortie?

If so, I just brought Ivara with my fully modded rakta cernos and had no problems because of her 4 with 3 combo. It was pretty easy, I just told my teammates to watch the other Ambulas and I guarded one myself. Took about 3-4 headshots to down them and they're like level 112?

  6. I'm not gonna be negative, but you just gotta be patient.

Worst case you can just sell your syndicate standing away, trade the plat for ducat items and get the tennocon digital ticket (that gives Baro with EVERYTHING he has ever had)

I mean you don't have to get the TennoCon digital ticket for that but it's just a suggestion is all, no hate.

If not, you're just gonna have to be patient. It's honestly not that difficult to get ducats imo via what I said above, that requires like what. Not even 30mins per day to cap?

I've never been a fan of spin to win so no. what I'm asking about is primary weapons.

When was the last time you played? Like specifically.

If you don't remember the date, like which frame was the most recently released one from that time? That'd help

  8. " 5. Equinox - Need i say more? Nerf that Maim!! My apologies for the wrong use of a word, what I meant was, "CHANGE" that Maim! "

Wait hold on I got the perfect thing for this thread.

    DnnIP1m.png

The irony in actually wanting to nerf equinox and other statements u said is exactly why people aren't taking you seriously... If you're even being serious are you even playing Warframe? Because I'm not sure if you're playing the same one as me if you think Equinox is op. The last time I heard someone complain about a frame for it being tanky like Inaros, I left my room giggling. You make it sound as if survivability is a problem? Extreme bait and troll thread.

I don't feel as if I've been slapped in the face with the changes DE has rolled out.  Hek, I don't even feel like I've been gently caressed, my face feels so neglected.

I guess that's what a person with the name MagPrime would typically say after what DE did with Mag...

Maybe I shouldn't bring that up...

Sorry just felt like being witty.

  10. I'm not gonna lie, this nice Supra riven here is crying itself to sleep every night since I got back into Warframe shortly after the event happened.

It's time soon within the next 3-4 months for it to be added to invasions I think.

Its w/e though, it'll more likely be added later than sooner as per usual, so can't have high hopes sadly.

  11. I can see the Lanka maybe being nerfed via disposition, but I doubt it would be nerfed with it's actual stats.

I feel as though Lanka is completely fine and shouldn't get nerfed. Just the disposition for it would be turned down a bit? Maybe by like 1, so it becomes a 2/5? Seems more reasonable of a weapon then.

  12. Yeah it was previously an event gun. It's been what like a year now? I bought a nice Supra riven a couple months back hoping they'd release it soon for Invasions or somethin and it's still collecting dust... FeelsPrettyBad

You didn't read, boi. I don't necessarily mind the mod, but the fact that it can have such huge melee range is the problem. If it were just like a 5, 6m range/AOE then I wouldn't mind it AS MUCH, but you constantly see noobs using it on huge range melees like whips, the range is double what every other melee is, not counting rivens. Including rivens it becomes absurd. BUT you can't just not allow it on specific types of weapons cause that is basically prejudice against a weapon type and people won't like that. So it needs another alternative, a nerf. You are defending it so I assume you main it btw.

Nobody is going to use a melee with 5-6m range, that's just ridiculous.

Are you trying to nerf yourself and everyone else or something? If so, I'm not going down with you btw.

Also to be quite honest, you complaining makes me wanna use my Atterax with maiming strike now since it has a few months of rust, I appreciate it.

  14. Real talk though.

I'd really like to know how Chroma's TANKYNESS was a problem and they decided to nerf it.

Chroma's main 'problem' was solo stuff. Having someone who is on par with Rhino with a full strength iron skin build with shrapnel tankyness wise is fine.

But I would really like to know who thought it was a good idea to nerf a frames tankyness because it was 'too good', especially when this 'problem' they spoke of was mainly Chroma's damage output.

Where is the realism amongst all this logic, lol.

Literally if they reverted his tankyness back to before this change, he would be 100% fine with me and I would still main him.

I'm glad ember is getting a nerf tbh.

You don't even talk from a standpoint of balance, just emotion. Your opinion deserves to be null and void just because of this. If you think Ember is going to actually get nerfed after the several dozens of comments of people providing massive feedback and not being okay with it, unlike you being childish about it, then you are clearly wrong and or DE's ship has actually sunk.

I am petrified that my favourite frame is going to be nerfed into unplayability with these suggested changes to ember.

I really don't want to be a whiny member if the community but am posting in the hopes that maybe one more voice will help.

Yes at star map level ember is a set and forget frame - however her usefulness in higher level missions is NOT her damage, it's her CC. Reducing her range means that her survivability will decrease at the same rate, as (I) rely on firequakr knocking down enemy gunners before they can kill me. When they are on the ground then they can be finished off by whoever is nearby.

If this build is implemented then she becomes even more of a glass canon and imo even less viable in high missions. I hope it either doesn't happen or she gets a survivability buff, because I'm not sure what I would do if my main isn't viable anymore.

Ayy another ember fan. While I can't say I main her myself I do think she's one of my top 4 played, including : Nyx (Augment sortie suvivability build), Sonar Banshee, Firequake Ember, and Nova. I completely agree with what you're saying, this isn't a childish reply post like a lot of what's going on - I'm just giving credit where its due. It's like why change something that was literally fine beforehand when it wasn't even a problem. Most frames already kill everything in Level 30 below instantly and DE is going to tell me that the PROBLEM is specifically Ember as a frame and nothing else... Right. Maybe from now on in pub games instead of killing everything in one shot I should just sit back and watch all the new F2p players do nothing with their gear in these missions or they don't know what they are doing. Now I don't blame them for being new but I think DE is getting a little triggerhappy with these changes lately and I can't say I'm not surprised either. Stuff is going to die instantly no matter what you do, unless all the frames are so far nerfed into oblivion that no one will play the game anymore. (No one is going to play a game where regardless of your build you have does absolutely nothing or it doesnt feel like the game it used to be, maybe I can't speak for the entire playerbase on this but I can definitely say sayonara when that happens) This kinda scheme is repetitive, once something like this gets changed and it gets swept under the rug, they will do it again just like with Ember's overheat. They can't sit here and cherry pick specific frames like this and I'm not honestly gonna idly sit by and watch them do that to a game that has still a lot of potential to grow. I already quit playing the game a few months ago, because of burnout and seeing this stuff really is like a nail in the coffin to me - if this goes through I wanna abandon ship because it's on fire.

They need to either deal with new players complaining about 'killstealing' (as if it's even a problem in a PVE game), because in a PVE game you are going to get carried hard regardless as long as people have played before you or nerf everything into the ground and let the playerbase die because nothing does damage, guess what you have to do then - All the enemies need to be nerfed and you're back at square one again with things being 'too strong.' I've seen this agenda before with past frames and things, I'm hoping for a wise decision to come out of this.

I agree but, there is a difference between posting "this is a nerf and horrible and you are a troll" than providing constructive feedback.  When a reply degenerates into "  i have decided you are a troll.  my clan thinks you are a troll" there is nothing else to say.  You provided feedback.  wait and see what is done, play with those changes, and offer feedback.

It also isnt the end of the world (and that isnt directed at you) if a change goes too far away from what the devs have envisioned for the frame, they will adjust it again. Waving the doom and gloom "I already tested it and its horrible" (which has been posted a few times) doesnt help at all.

Right. Must be why Ember's overheat and how Mag used to be a few years ago got thrown into a trash can and took forever to resurface and fix the problem after countless mentions of how it needed to be fixed or change in a positive way. That's exactly why he thinks you're a troll, because you're shamelessly ignoring facts that are in front of you since you want to have a different opinion. I haven't looked at this thread in 10 hours and I comeback to see your posts and I'm not sure whether to take you serious or not. More than half of the comments here give quite decent explanations of the opposite side of what you are arguing for and to be quite frank you seem obsessively apathetic of what can happen to the state of a game where people want BALANCE, not logic. Your logic tells you "Play it first it will be fine fixed later" yet history says opposite. You have no facts to base your opinion on and plenty of people spent a lot of time discussing their opinions and posts here, but the only thing you have to back up what you say is logic... Not to mention your logic makes me feel like you're playing a different game and not Warframe. I also forgot to mention, you don't need to play a build to know how much double of something works, do the math instead of being a smart guy. Maybe it doesn't affect you because you don't play Ember, so maybe you should because clearly double the cost of energy is too difficult to imagine. I'm sorry maybe it should be in a easier to comprehend fashion.

I'll write this out for you. The cost energy increases over time to double the amount once reaching the cap. You know how you see that thing in game showing your energy? Wait til about 20seconds after a WoF build that is SPECIFICALLY based on Firequake, where you do 0 damage to bombards endgame. Look at all the damage you do with that. Oh wait let's not stop there, you see that damage text? Double the damage it does (which is basically nothing) to bombards. You come up with very minimal time to kill for an enemy that will 2 shot you. Dang man so not only do you still do Sub-B frame dps to endgame content but now you have energy cost twice as demanding. Never would have thought to see a support version of a dps disposed into a dumpster like it committed taboo for stealing kills from new players, as if that doesn't happen with any decent DPS frame in sub 30 content. Literally the equivalence of straight up bullying a frame that isn't even that good in the first place and keeping all the ones that were better at doing the job left alone. This is the only post I am going to reply to you with because at this point you don't even speak constructive, it's more like simple fallacies laced with incomprehensible logic.

  18. 1 minute ago, KokoroWish said:

I am not talking about the changes to the base World on Fire ability in that post. I am talking about possibly changing the Firequake Augment for that ability to match the new proposed WoF changes.

Not going to work with that sort of a change, imagine aiming at targets similarly being ragdolled like how Zephyrs tornado was. Aiming at those things for headshots is like the equivalence of griefing yourself as an Ember player. I appreciate the idea of where you're going but that wouldn't work when you're nearly being 2 shotted in sorties.

  19. 22 minutes ago, KokoroWish said:

Here's a proposal for changing Firequake, though actually isn't that much of an alteration, just something that suits the new mechanics of World on Fire better with the proposed changes.

It still does and stumble/knockdown on effected targets. However, targets that are knocked down now ragdoll and are drawn towards Ember, into her now more powerful/smaller damage area.

Rename the Augment to "Draft", "Inhale" or somesuch (seriously, WTF is a Firequake, I don't even). Done. That's it.

Minor change, but thematically better. Sure it could have some other bonuses or maluses, such as the AoE starting larger, but shrinking faster, while eating energy faster, but that can be discussed.

Here's to this idea getting consumed and lost in the furor.

Oh, there's a name idea. "Consume"

Yes it is a huge change doubling the ENERGY COST. That is not a *small* change, quit exaggerating.

Yes she is used as an AFK for lower level content (not as much as banshee was) but was typically used for CC or speed running exterminates. However similar feats can be done with a maim Equanox, spore Saryn, peacemaker Mesa (who also can have 95% damage reduction at 145% Strength). These frames require SLIGHTLY more effort, pressing 4 (or in Saryn's case 2&3) repeatedly, but they murder the entire tile set with little to no effort, yet none of them have been touched. I do not advocate rampant nerfs, certain things should stay the way they are like Chroma's Vex armor, or buffed like IPS (not nerfing slash) as they have been like that for ages, and the community has accepted it for the most part. But Ember just got shafted like Mag did way back when; and notice how many Mag players there are. The Banshee change i can rationalize, and it makes her better for most content and cuts down on the irritation; however changing an ability that is not broken OP sealed ember's coffin. We don's need another close range DPS frame that is as squishy as she is.

Amen man, I completely agree with you. Couldn't have said it better myself. I'd rather not see my main frame getting shafted just like you said like Mag did. I personally don't care much for the Banshee nerf because I love her sonar esque playstyle more for my aiming level gameplay.
