  1. Hi Devs! This hotfix did it for me, I was able to actually get past the login screen and able to load a mission without crashing on XP now. Although the initial loading sames to made the game stutter really badly for about 5 or less minutes, but everything was smooth after that.

One thing I noticed tho, the in-game textures does seem much more low-res when compared to U14 and before, also, not sure if this loading screen is part of the optimizations...

Other than that, I'm so hyped that I can (finally) play Warframe again :D!

  2. Oh ya, also, is it normal for the first loading screen before login to look so low res it looks like 240p upscaled? I don't have the picture right now as I'm at work, but would try to get a picture of it later in the evening, assuming my game doesn't freeze the moment I try to load the game. x_x

  3. Give players the option to turn on or off for this new Gamma-corrected color palette.

Either as a general options in the options menu, or better yet a checkbox option when you're customizing whatever it is you're customizing, so that people can have their new colorful Kubrows, and yet turn the gamma correction off if they don't like how it looks for their frame or weapons.

Honestly, I know that while they're a number of that liked the new gamma corrected colors, and it is good that people are getting more vibrant color choices, but I am very sure that there are still people like me who like to get back the "non-fixed" colors from before because there are actual dark or unsaturated colors in there which allows me to create either a post-apocalyptic look for my warframes and weapons, or just because a particular color fits into my current theme, all that which has been stripped away from me, and people like me.

But now here comes the real problem, most of the color choices shown in the color palette does not even accurately fit what is shown, which I found it really frustrating to me when choosing my colors, especially dark colors, which isn't a problem before. Some orange are just too orange to the point of being red, dark blues, purples, browns and greens are all just black, which is evident when choosing on of the dark colors on the Classic palette.

Also, it seems to show the imperfections of quite a number of the Immortal Skins so much more.

My Nyx is using 4 different colors right now, can you tell the difference?

I sincerely hope that the devs would look into, and consider this option.

And if I would be allowed to be really blunt, I'd say the current fix to the palette is just a lazy fix to Kubrow furs, which is great, but just to Kubrows and not everything else.

  4. Here's 2 pictures of my Loki for comparison sake.

I used the darkest blue from the unsaturated color palette, unsaturated dark gold from unsaturated palette, blueish white from Ice, Black from the middle of 3rd row from bottom in Smoke.

Noticed how the dark gold changed to brown and how the the unsaturated dark blue change to the saturated darkest blue from the Storm palette.

While for blacks I can choose a different black, I still can't find a similar blue or dark gold from the current palette. This is saddening to me, as all my frame runs this color theme.

Notice the energy color change on my sword and board too.

  5. IMHO, the color fix should apply to KUBROWS only. Sure, you can have your colorful Kubrows and their colorful wonderful fur, but this new color palette "fix" is just too invasive to the eye. The reason why the old color palette is good because it realistic, it just looks good on all my Warframes. Now we only have this anime-colored frames running around, it's out of place and it totally breaks the immersiveness of this game. I even had a hard time choosing colors on the default unsaturated color palette now just cause they look like the old saturated color palette.

I'm fine if people liked the new colors, but at least give us the option to get back the old colors that people like me really like, 75p again for each color palette, I don't care, just give me back my colors!

  6. Personally I would just like Ordis to stop saying the same lines over and over and over... every minute or some 30 seconds. It reminds me of one update where the Lotus wouldn't stop talking at all.

Otherwise Ordis is fine, I find him interesting, gives me a bit of a Portal 2 vibe with Wheatley.

  7. Pressing Esc while in Solo doesn't pause the game anymore, I enjoy most of my time in Warframe playing solo and like to pause every now and then when I need to do other things. It needs to be back ;(

  8. They've been in that barracks for a while now.

Most people don't notice them because they rush the invasion missions and pass that hallway completely.

    This. :D

When supporting the Corpus I would run into every single barracks room so that I can have my own little red crewman party.

  9. Decided to up this as I killed myself with my own absorb twice while fighting the Grustrag Three on 2 seperate encounters.

Was absorbing until with the 3 of them shooting and meleeing me until some +60k damage and when I release my Absorb it instakill me.

  10. I was running an invasion mission for the Grineer the other day vs the infested in which an Arctic Eximus grineer spawned, but I was affected by it's aura negatively (move speed/fire rate slowed down etc) when I get near it.

Can't tell if the other friendly eximus auras will affect players negatively but for now it seems to be just the arctic one.

  11. Vauban's powers look pretty poor now. Again, lacking any glow or glow of quality. I shake my head when I browse through patch notes to still see this negative change hasn't been reverted. It's a glaring problem.

    Everything is pure solid colour.

I feel that if your energy color is bright, it looks fine, like the old vortex, I had mine on light blue and it's fine, but my friend had his on dark red..and I can't even see the vortex..

EDIT: That being said, I would like to see energy colors to have a little bit more gradient to them.

  12. And I made a post about it too at the bugs section a few patches ago :(

    https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/216177-shock-camo-dera-doesnt-show-energy-colors/#entry2513626

They said it was fixed but it just as what you experience with the Shock Dera skin now, there was already an overlay over the energy color.

Supra also had this problem although I'm kinda fine with it, the energy area looks really metallic and nice without the energy glows but I bet other users want the energy glow back with the skin on.

Even the Lanka and Snipetron had their energy covered up by the skin, the small energy bar thing on the side of the weapon, only Cestras and Detron don't have this problem iirc.

  13. Are you still seeing the gross painted look on the Ignis since last night's update?  If so, what energy color are you using (approx)?  It was quite ugly, but I've gone through and toned down the alphas so it all blends together a little better.

Thanks! Will check it out tonight after work, usually I use all kinds of energy colors on my Ignis, from blues to reds to green..sometimes pink, just to blind my friends.

That and I'll agree with Naith that energy colors still does look bland on the most part and was really just one flat solid color that your have choose. I used have gold energy color on my glaive-type weapons to do the throw and channel to make the glaive explode trick since Melee 2.0, and the color was awesome but now it's just flat dull, brownish looking yellow, and it still is now.

Also, couldn't the color correction technique used on the Sedna shipyards tileset be used for energy colors? I was using purple energy for my Embolist and noticed that the correction made the Embolist's gas kind of blackish mostly with a purple hue gradient and glow around the outer parts, and I think that's how dark or black energy should looked like IMO.

EDIT: Just tried out the Ignis and some other stuff after the update again, they definitely looked better! Thanks! Although as you said they still don't look exactly like before, can't tell what.. I wished I had an old screenshot of various energy stuff to help me tell what's missing currently, but this will do for now :D

  14. Black used the be the alpha channels for energy. That's how they get Ignis flames to look "flamey" and etc, so to speak..

But now that's gone, here's hoping DE would find a way to implement proper alpha channel to everything energy related :D just so my Ignis doesn't look like it is spraying gooey paint all over the place. (Maybe an alpha channel slider would be nice!)

On the side note black energy Ignis is nice tho, I'm feeding the infested them squid ink.

  15. Posted something similar a few days ago too!

    https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/226261-im-not-sure-this-is-how-you-slide-and-shoot-with-an-akimbo-weapon/#entry2619690

It's kinda funny cause I found out yesterday that it only happens when my Rhino uses the Akstiletto, my Saryn and Loki was aiming fine when I played yesterday.

What's even weirder is when you try to aim behind and shoot, I'm sure no Tenno can bend their arms like that. :x
